• The product was damaged (has a ding) and the piece beneath the microwave dish (roller) was broken. We used the roller from the old one.

• Great size, most were smaller than we needed, but this is large enough to handle what we need. The safety feature is something we will have to get used to, but it will be great when the grandkids are here. Controls are easy to read and it heats/defrosts perfectly!

• Standard three-prong, grounded wall plug that plugs straight in to the wall socket adds one to two inches to the depth measurement of the microwave oven. Suggest redesigning of the wall plug to the three-prong snub-nose type grounded plug to provide better fit of this microwave oven, closer to the wall or cubby-hole for counter top applications.

• It’s beautiful and works perfectly 😊 I can’t live without this one of a kind speedy microwave…the GE1.6 cu ft countertop microwave oven is AMAZING AWESOME AND THE BEST!! • So much better than my last microwave! Less wattage, but seems like it cooks faster. Smaller capacity than my old one, but it's perfect! Foods defrost perfectly on the defrost cycle too!

• We bought the previous generation of this model 14 years ago. It worked perfectly all that time until experiencing sudden death. We’re grateful GE is still making it because it fits perfectly into our space, and have been impressed with its reliability. It’s compact but powerful. It reheats, cooks, defrosts exactly as desired every time. It’s a countertop model we use as a “built-in”. They’ve added a child safety latch that we’ve disabled because it’s not needed in our household, but it’s a great feature for families with small children.

• It's a great microwave and works really well. Ease of use is simplistic and straight forward. One complaint...in this day and age the door opener and closer could be more up to date with the times. This system of door lock has been around since I worked in a steel mill.

• This GE model GCST16S1W1SS exactly fit the built-in cabinet for our 10 year old Whirlpool microwave, and it even fit perfectly into the old trim panel and the support bracket. Even the holes on the bottom of the new microwave fit exactly into the holes on the old support bracket. It made switching out the old microwave a breeze! We are so glad this product was available. It functions just fine and the whole cost was so much less than other options.

• Love this microwave! The 1150 watts is absolutely awesome!! Purchased it while kitchen is being remodeled, needed a countertop microwave because our old one was over the range. That one is 1000 watts. Will not go back to using the old one, gave it away and I am having our cabinet maker build a shelf for this new one in the new kitchen.

• I bought the microwave for its size, it has good power for reheating food, my only reservation was the child lock door, but once you turn that off , the microwave is great.

• I like this model; however, this same one that I bought 2 years ago had to be replaced because the magnetron failed. I bought that one from the same company and they recommended that I buy a new one. I think that having to buy a new one every 2 years is excessive but I like the brand and how it functions so I am willing to give it another try.
