• This size is great for the foods we put in it. The controls are good. The feature to leave the buzzer sound off when it is finished is great. Because it means no disturbing noise when used early in the morning. The time for the instant 30 seconds or 1 to 6 minutes is great. The setting for power levels is efficient. We had this model which lasted for over five years but the last one died in less that a year. The warranty process was fairly easy to navigate.

• This is the second time I am buying a GE Microwave 2 cu ft 1200 watt. It is a workhorse and easy to operate, also at a great price!

• This microwave gave much more than I expected. Best thing was the look on my grandson's face when he couldn't open it. LOL well played, GE. Child proof for the win!

• I love that it will hold a large dish and I also like that fact that the popcorn button is exact for microwave popcorn. It pops almost all of the kernels leaving maybe 4-5 that didn't pop compared to other microwaves where you had 10 to 20 that didn't pop.

• Purchased from Amazon. Well packaged, no damage. Very similar in size & capacity to my previous 21 year old GE microwave. Large 2.0 capacity, bright interior, well laid out controls. All the normal features of cook, defrost, etc.. Not a fan of the child lock button feature mandated by the government, disengaged it immediately. You can also lock controls with the keypad, a great feature that doesn’t intrude. NO trim kit available, which is a big downside. Made my old one work with some “persuasion”, as I had taken all measurements prior to ordering. Seems to work great, reheats (seemingly) quicker than my old one, but I’ve only had it a few days. Time will tell, but so far I like & recommend it.

• We bought this model to replace our 17-year-old GE microwave (JEB1860SM1) which I loved. The features and controls are very similar, and the ovens look identical to each other. I expect this model to perform as well as our previous one did. This model does have a larger turntable. I also like the curved corners in the back which makes cleaning easier. We were also able to reuse the trim kit which was a plus.

• We have a family of 5 and the dishwasher is more than adequate for our needs. In addition, the dishes, all come out, clean and perfectly dry.

• Our new GE microwave does everything we need it to. We have found that we never use half the stuff on appliances that have "all the bells and whistles." This one is easy to use and does the job, without breaking the bank.

• This is the second time I’ve bought this model. The one that just died this morning had a tag that said it was mfg.’d in 2009, so I would say we got our money’s worth in 17 years of daily use. Easy to use, control panel is super user-friendly. I considered a brand that had the inverter technology, which would have been the only reason to consider a switch, but in the end, the reliability of the GE model is what convinced me to stick with a tried and true unit. In fact, I seem to recall I had a GE before the one I just replaced.

• I just got the microwave, but so far I LOVE it. It is HUGE in size, you can put an extra large plate inside or a couple of small plates inside. It definitely stands up to the other reviews that I read about it. However, I do wish that it had more instructions on how to use it because I am sure that it does more than what I have been able to figure out so far. Plus, I have not yet been able to figure out how to make it let me know when the cycle is complete. That would really be helpful! Since you have to either guess or stand right next to it. I still would give it a 5 in ratings.

• My husband and I really like our new GE microwave. I like the automatic time buttons and the little reminder ding if you don't take the product out right away. So many times I would get busy and forget I put coffee or etc in for warming up. Very helpful. Just a real nice addition to our kitchen. Thanks.

• Love that you can silence the beep when you are using the keypad, and also it silences the end of cycle beep so it does not continue to beep until you open the door up. Fit perfect in where I needed it.

• I love the large capacity of the GE microwave. The controls are easy to use and the performance is excellent. The design fits in with all of our new appliances and the features are what drew me to the appliance.
