First off, I haven't had a dishwasher for 22 years so I am very happy with this one. It's not noisy at all and its capacity is great. It was really easy to install. You do have to buy the power cord though unless you plan on hard-wiring it. I've only had it less than a week but I couldn't be happier.

Really love the feature on front control panel. It allows you to know when the dishwasher is on and when it will finish. Top control panel doesn't tell you if your dishwasher is on

Very nice GE Dishwasher with all the bells and whistles. Noise level is quite and color Slate is fantastic for finger prints or smudges, you can't see them. The Sanitize Cycle was important to me to get my silverware and dishes cleaned efficiently during this cycle. Large plastic Interior tub always looks sparkling clean without water stains. I recommend this model #GDF550PMRES.

I think the technology is great. The real test is going to be how long does it last. Did we compromise longevity for short term technology that engineered to keep customers repairing or replacing the unit in order to keep making a profit.

Easy DIY install. Directions were simple to read. Runs quite compared to my older GE model. Would recommend it if you need a new dishwasher.

This machine does a great job. My dishes, glasses and silverware came out sparkling clean. It is very quiet and the multiple settings allow for adjusting to various loads.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher. We have an open-concept living/kitchen area, so a quiet machine is key, and this one is quiet. It has a large capacity, though we do rinse before loading, and I like the silverware divider. The normal cycle takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes, and the dishes come out pretty dry (only wet where you'd expect them to be).

Love my new dishwasher. Washes and dries well and the capacity is perfect. The only thing I don’t like is where the silverware basket is. Would be so much more convenient if it was in front of the shelf instead of on the side.

I LOVE the dishwasher! The installation was seamless (actually professionals did the installation). I like the options that you can select for washing/drying the dishes. The musical tones that were implemented for its functions appeal to my inner child! :-) There's little noise when it's working and I'm really happy with the product. Great job, General Electric!

On a kitchen remodel we chose this because we liked the finish. Its a good dishwasher with good capacity and we liked the fact that it's quiet and has plenty of features, was a good price, and there are options like top and front controls. The only thing that kinda is a con is the installation instructions. I suggest hooking up electric and supply and drain before mounting it in. Easier that way.

I am very pleased with the dishwasher. Especially how quiet it is. I use the hour cycle and and very happy with the cleaning process. The only suggestion I have is the rinse dispenser is hard to see how full it is. You should put something on there that shows when it is full and how it is dropping. Thank you.
