• This is my second GE refrigerator and I would never buy another brand. My first one lasted 20 years with only the defrost heater going out after 17 years. Awesome refrigerator!!!

• I have been using this refrigerator for about a month now, and so far it's been amazing! Even before this fridge, I appreciate FE brand as synonymous for quality and durability, and this model just confirmed that feeling. What I love most,other than the looks, is how spacious it is inside; every bit of space is designed to be used to its full potential. The freezer is super convenient, which makes organizing so easy and allows me to see exactly what I have on hand. In fact, my husband is thrilled because he says it can fit up to five turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. The design of the ice and water dispenser is both beautiful and practical. Also, you can tell the materials are high quality; in general it feels very sturdy and pleasant to the touch. Its very quiet. Finally, I want to highlight that the moving or assembly was very simple, a s well as the instructions for setting up the parts were very clear. Good Job GE.

• We decided to go with the side-by-side design this time because our last refrigerator had a big drawer at the bottom for a freezer and it was impossible to organize anything. We absolutely love the design and the oversized ice/water dispenser in the door. My husband made the comment last night. I don’t remember the last time I had a drink this cold out of our refrigerator so needless to say. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

• GE is the best!! This refrigerator does it all! It has all the drawers that you can ever ask for and it keeps your food items cold! It’s very easy to put together!

• Product and everything was great. Then 10 minutes after installlers left I notice that there was a slight scratch and dent about 3 inches right of the refrigerator door handle. It is ever so slight and I do not know if it was done at the factory or when they were bringing it in through the front door of our home. It is not that noticeable. Usually only when you look down and opening the refrigerator door. Had wife look at it and we have not problem with it. We do not need a replacement. However, other people probably wood. Just giving you a heads up because I don't know which time this occurred.

• This GE side-by-side refrigerator is fantastic! Not only does it look sleek and stylish, but it works great too! I love that it is so deep, so there is TONS of space! It's extremely efficient, and cooled to temp so quickly after installing it. The material of the drawers and shelves feels super durable, and the extra tall water dispenser is such a great feature!

• OMG! This refrigerator is huge! I love it. The amount of space is more than enough. The finish is a very high quality stainless steel! The front water/ice maker is extra tall and fits my 40oz. Cups perfectly. The inside freezer chute for the ice is removable and easy to clean. It's very quite as well. Inside the lights perfectly light up everything in it. The button for the light on the door is a perfect night light. The doors are not light and cheap like other models. They definitely are substantial and heavy duty. I don't know what I'm going to do with all this space. I love it!

• I was gifted the 27.9 Cu. Ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Extra Tall Dispenser and In-Door Icemaker by GE in exchange for my honest review. This refrigerator is impressive. The refrigeration side offers a huge amount of space within! It has four shelves that are spaced to allow for tall food and beverage items. The same can be said for the in-door shelves. There are two very large crisper drawers, too. The freezer side has five nicely spaced shelves and one extra deep drawer. The freezer door features two shelves and the ice maker. The dispenser is exactly how they advertised it…EXTRA tall. Seriously impressive, actually! The dispenser allows for water, crushed ice, and cubed ice. It’s conveniently lighted, as well. One of my favorite features is the soft closing doors. These doors seem to pull themselves shut with just the slightest touch. I am actually blown away with how much food you could fit in this refrigerator, really! It’s no bigger than my old refrigerator…but it’s definitely designed more thoughtfully! Additionally, it looks great and runs super quietly. Keeps everything nice and cold! Honestly, I can’t think of anything negative to say about this GE side-by-side fridge! I highly recommend, if you’re looking for a new one!

• This refrigerator is awesome! So much space inside, it has room for everything you need, it has an in door water and ice maker that is extra tall for all your water bottles and cups! It got cold really fast so we were able to put our food back in right away after delivery. We are just so happy with it!

• I love my new GE Side-By-Side Refrigerator. It has a beautiful sleek design that makes my entire kitchen look upgraded. I never had a side-by-side refrigerator before and I was nervous to make the switch. Now that I have been using it, I prefer it. There is so much room and organization on both sides with adjustable shelves, large door bins and pull out drawers. No more digging through to find what I need. But, my favorite part is the extra tall, 11-inch water and ice dispenser. I can fit all my tall bottles without having to tip them to fill (which usually ended up with water everywhere ). Plus, it has two ice options, cubed or crushed which is always a bonus. It is the perfect refrigerator upgrade.

• This refrigerator is absolutely perfect! We like to play meals and make sure we are set for the coming weeks with our kids on meals so having a refrigerator with plenty of space for groceries and leftovers or meal prep is a must! This refrigerator has so much space that we have extra room! The shelves are the perfect height and we can adjust as we go. The basket are big! Holding extra condiments and more when it comes to cooking. The freezer has so much space with the ice maker being in the door! The water and ice come out easily too! Both the freezer and the refrigerator parts are cold cold and make our food last! We are so very thankful for this!

• I love this refrigerator! It’s incredibly spacious and has a well thought out design. It’s also very stylish and modern looking. The doors seal nicely and the ice maker has a pretty large capacity. The shelves and drawers inside feel sturdy and seem like they will be able to withstand a lot of use. I love that the water dispenser is tall enough for large water bottles to fit under it with ease. Overall, this refrigerator is constructed well and looks great in my home! I’m very happy with it!

• The GE 27.9cf side by side refrigerator with extra tall dispenser is a great upgrade! The good: There seems to be so much more actual usage area. Between the filter reposition and maybe thinner walls, the amount of space is incredible. The ice and water in the door instead of taking of the space of one full shelf is much better. The extra tall dispenser area eliminates the “tilt and spill” we all go through trying to get ice and water in our cups/bottles. The single long, soft touch dispenser bar is a great update from the individual push pedals of other units. The dispenser area is one continuous smooth surface, no removable bottom to knock off. The water and ice filter is relocated to the bottom of the refrigerator, freeing up the shelf it blocks in some models. It has a non-obstructive control panel with multi use buttons that makes it efficient and minimalist. Digital temp control is a much better option than control knobs where you have to remember if the higher number means colder or warmer. The two refrigerator drawers and one freezer drawer are deep and have a smooth glide. Even when full, they glide easily without a lot of effort. The fingerprint resistant doors live up to their name. It’s very quiet, even when filling the ice trays. Potential issues: The doors when opening aren’t zero clearance. For those with refrigerator built in areas where the front of the doors are supposed to be flush with the wall, this won’t work. You will have to move it forward until the case is even with the walls and the rest are sticking out. See photo The doors are slightly convex and at the handle area its dimensions are larger. It’s not noticeable when looking at it unless you really take the effort (or you are working in tight confines. This means you may need to remove the handles, if not the entire doors, to get it through doorways and between walls and counters. It comes with a short (2-3 ft) waterline. Unless you have the water hookup directly behind the refrigerator, you will need to purchase a longer line. They run between $12 and $30 depending on the size you will need.. The ice maker only makes 10 small square cubes at a time, and the bin isn’t as large as the shelf version of makers. After dumping the first batch it has been running for 36 hours and we have about 1/4 of a bin full. This will be an issue if you use a large amount of ice daily or need to fill a cooler. All in all I love this refrigerator and even though I posted potential issues, none of them are actual problems that would deter most. I would recommend this u it over most others to my family and friends.

• I love my new refrigerator, it has so much storage space. I really like that the ice tray is in the foor and not on the shelf which gives so much more room. The ice cubes are perfect size and my 40 Oz water bottle fits perfectly in dispenser.

• What an awesome fridge!!! Its a perfect replacement of our old one, which was also a GE and good quality, but the upgrades on this one make it great. The water dispenser has space for my water bottle, the shelves are deeper and the freezer has more space as well. Overall I am very impressed! I would say tho I miss the small cubby shelf with a swinging “door” on the upper right side where Id usually keep my butter, but thats okay I found a new spot for it.

• This refrigerator is so spacious and luxe! I’ve had the same refrigerator for many many years, so this couldn’t have came at a better time. The stainless steel is gorgeous, and it fit all of my food and drinks with even MORE room than before. This refrigerator is super spacious and has so many shelves and places to store your food. I’m absolutely impressed! I love how the water spout is super tall so you can put your stanleys and other stainless steel cups to fill up with water without having to tip it and spill water all over the place. It comes with an amazing water filter as well, and should only have to be replaced every 6 months. I love how much room there is, so I don’t ever have to worry about none of my groceries not fitting! The ice maker is super huge too! The ice door comes out so you can empty ice or even fill up a cooler up. I’m very impressed with this refrigerator and love the way it looks and fits exactly perfectly in the spot my last one was. This is such an upgrade and I am SUPER happy!!

• This side by side refrigerator is near perfect! The shelving is adjustable and easy to move for taller items. The storage is deep and can accommodate a lot of food! But even in the back food won’t get lost because the lighting is bright and the shelving clear so I can see everything. After installation, which was professional and fast, the unit was at the correct cooling temperature in just 4 hours. Ice was ready in just 6! The drawers have a super soft glide that is smooth to open and close making that storage easy to use for fruits and veggies. The pièce de résistance is the water filling on the front- it fits my 40oz water bottle with ease and fills quickly due to amazing water pressure! The ice cubes are small and such a cute shape for cocktails and water bottles. The only reason this didn’t get the full 5 stars is because I do wish it had a small lip to keep water from spilling over after overfilling cups and the ice feature is quite messy, spitting small shaves of ice even when set on the cubed setting. Such small complaints compared to the overall features that make this refrigerator a really solid choice.

• Cooling issues of not maintaining temperature. Door Seals were incorrectly placed. Ice maker issues only make 30 cubes a day. (Advertised as to 120 cubes a day. Air Tower Damper had to be replaced. Service time wait of over 1 month.

• I'm not sure why ge placed the water filter near the crisper drawers at the very bottom It's a horrible ideal if over weight or elderly. To get on my hands and knees is absolutely ridiculous! Love the product unitil the new product showing the filter almost to the floor of the frig. Redesign it and it will be number 1 again.
