It's a good stove. I like the burners -- only 1 problem. They are not individual, so you have to lift 3 at a time to clean. It's a little heavy for me.

The knob to turn on one of the gas burners was accidently rubbed against by my private installer turning it so that gas was released without ignition. He left for lunch and about 5 minutes went by I smelt gas two rooms away. My first thought was is the gas leaking from the new gas lines or second from the water heater/room heater pilots that were relighted after the house gas was turned back on. Not being sure I opened all windows and went to the stove and noticed a slightly turned knob. Solved, but on this 1st time of use I noticed that all 4 top range knobs could be turned ever so slightly without much of any real resistance. An unwitting glance of a part of the body or object carried may be the culprit to remember or warned in the future. I have no complaint of the ease of control knobs turning and only bring this to your attention. The matter of more tension be in play in the knob turning or not is beyond my call. It may be an issue to double check on for safety sake.

Range works well. It lights easily and quickly. I haven't had a top like this before, it doubles as a cooling rack which is nice. I do miss the solid top though when I go to place things on top of it.

The quality of this range is a lot sturdier than my old one. Ex. The older one dented easily during the delivery. The burners did have a faint gas smell the first day only. I haven’t tried the oven yet but the oven door is heavier than my old one which I think is a better feature because I always worried that the door was going to close while I was putting the food in. The ignition is not as fast as my old one , there is a short pause. The controls are nicer and the cleaning is a lot easier , I guess because of the better material it is made from.

Range looks really nice. Easy to use and cooks evenly. Controls are easy to understand. Never had a continuous grate before and I’m loving it!

I love the whole entire stove. Everything is amazing on them. Everything works perfect and I’m happy. I got it before Thanksgiving because it made a perfect ham in Turkey and dessert of course

Previous to this stove I had another brand that only lasted 8 years. I don't know why I wavered from GE, but now I'm back! I like EVERYTHING about this stove, even down to the simplest thing as setting the clock!! The controls have a small diagram next to each one, so there is no guessing if you're turning on the back or the front burner. This stove also has more room for the pots not to butt up against each other like my old stove, I guess GE configures things a little smarter. I'm also a fan of the oven racks (who would think this would even be an issue) my last stove, the racks were spaced too far apart and I had to resort to putting a cookie cooling rack on top of the stoves rack, GE 's racks are spaced perfectly and are sturdy too. Thanksgiving turned out to be a dream with the oven's capacity to accommodate anything that I needed it to. ..love my new GE stove!

It was easy to set up and convert to propane. The clock seems to loose time:( Not sure what that’s about. The oven comes up to temp in about 5 minutes:). We’ll be cooking Thanksgiving dinner in it tomorrow:)

So far I love this stove. It is very basic, which I really like. Not much of the fancy doo-dads on it. It does all it is supposed to do and we'll have a great Thanksgiving meal for the first time in 3 years because we now have this lovely GE Stove!!! I LOVE that it also has the broiler section at the bottom of the oven.
