Two were damaged in shipping and finally the 3rd one was installed. The process took over a month to complete.

Wish the reheat button had baked goods like my old microwave and really miss the pizza button. Handie feels very cheap like it's going to break off. Didn't realize it was only 1000 watts and not 1200.

This unit replaced a similar 9 year old unit that had either a bad exhaust fan thermostat or control board. Rather than take a chance with the wrong repair and still having a nonfunctional microwave, we decided to replace it with this one. It doesn’t have as much power as the old one, even though they’re both supposed to be 1000 watts. The surface light, on both high and low overheat the inside of the oven-too hot by far. Although the microwave is vented outside, the cooking smells linger. This unit is subpar compared to the original unit.

This unit replaced our GE Profile microwave oven. It seems that for some reason GE chose to discontinue the profile microwave oven in slate. Do we had to buy a none profile microwave. It seems so much cheaper than the profile. The door closes with a tinny slam and the selector buttons are hard to depress. Nowhere near as sensitive as the Profile model.

The door cracked within the first 6months. GE replaced it. Now, 2 1/2 years later and door is cracked in 2 different areas. GE will not replace this time. Oven is not worth the money!!

Worst microwave I've ever owned! It is loud, it sounds like the ventilation fan comes on every time we use it. We owned it barely a year, when it started having power failure issues. If we are microwaving leftovers, or use it for more than 3 minutes at a time, it will just shut down. The light still comes on, so we know it's not the fuse. After a few hours, it will say "PF" on the screen and after resetting everything it will work again. It's ridiculous that a year-old microwave won't work more than 3 minutes at a time.
