Replaced (3rd PEM31DFBB) in 10 years. Facia for the Trim kit changed every time, but the second (purchased 2013) trim kit had a bowed shape on top. Did not work with my cabinets. GE said ok to use original from 2000--it worked fine and microwave did too, until it died in 2018. Bought new microwave and planned to use the old trim kit--It no longer works. Holes in microwave cabinet and trim kit do not match and the stand for the microwave inside the trim kit is entirely different. New trim kit (2018 model) is poorly made and cannot fit my cabinetry. Returned both to dealer and now must get new cabinets or counter top model.
