• Our new compactor is very well designed. The new bags fit much better than the older model's paper bags, and the mechanism for starting the compactor is less problematic and easier to use, compared to the older model. The 2 men who installed the compactor were very efficient.

• Works as expected since it replaced an identical model. Although the new model does not have a drawer handle which we miss tremendously. Otherwise good solid product.

• Needed a new compactor fast and it was here quickly. It works great and looks slick. I love that the foot petal opens it and if you push up on it with your foot it compacts it instead of a dial so the front looks clean and it’s 100% hands free!

• I don't understand why Trash Compactors have such a limited selection - this is by far one of my favorite appliances, I actually have TWO, one for each side of the kitchen!

• Capacity is good, not too noisy, performance has been good, this GE Compactor has a nice sleek look in stainless steel. It feels like it will be durable for years to come. My last compactor last 30 years and I expect this one to last as long; although, I am not going to last that long. Have a Blessed Day, from a little old lady.

• This compactor is great. It was SO EASY to install. It just rolled into the space, no hardware necessary. It works well and is pretty quiet.

• We have been using our compactor for about 3 weeks, and we love it. Definitely helps cut down on filling up our garbage can every other day. We’re taking out our garbage about every 5 days.

• This trash compactor is very strong and allows us to only use 1-2 trash bags per week for a family of 2. The convenience of limiting trips to trash is worth the cost of this machine. The clean lines match our modern kitchen design well. Highly recommend.

• Neat and clean lines. More modern than my last one, which lasted over 34 years. It was still working, but we were modernizing the kitchen and this was part of the upgrade. we are very satisfied with the compactor.
