• Our old dishwasherwas so loud that we couldnt have it going while we watched tv. This Whirlpool dishwasher is so quiet that a majority of the time you cant tell its running. Luckily there is a little blue light on the front that lights when running. I found it to dry our dishes fairly well on the extra dry setting (we do not use rinse aid) which i think effects dry time too. The door pops open slowly when its done washing so it can start air drying which is nice. It may become an issue once baby is crawling but so far toddler has left the door alone. You get a lot of space for dishes and i really like the top rack for little baby teethers, lids etc. I have 0 complaints.

• Get This Dishwasher seriously Everything abt it is delightful perfection starting w/ how easy it is to use! The dishwasher is very quiet and runs in varying time lengths in preset cycles: Shortest cycle: 1h5m & Longest: 2h10m. The different cycles settings include Extended Soak, Heavy, Sensor, Normal and Quick. The timer is preset for each cycle. The door will automatically pop open to dry if you prefer that feature alerting you the wash is completed. There’s a funnel included for loading salt for water softener in the lower tray. Water softener is not enabled from the factory but can be activated from the control panel in which the instructions recommend as hard water can affect the dishwasher. We didn’t know if water softener salt is different from typical salt bt Google said it was so lol. Another unique attribute is it having 3 rows and the top row being flat! Honestly the whole device is amazing with easy installation which was mind blowing! It's wayyyy fancier in having more options & uniqueness than the deluxe model Kenmore we use to own. There's nothing left over from the cleaning pod ensuring it Really does its job well. We’re in absolute love!

• My family and I are enjoying the Whirlpool 44 dBA ADA compliant Dishwasher. Installation was seamless. From the outside, the stainless steel and no buttons gives a sleek look. My old dishwasher had buttons on the front instead of the top of the door and they would always get dirty looking. The inside of the dishwasher also looks nice and we are enjoying the 3rd rack. I would say, it feels like there is less room in the dishwasher but I think that might be the way we are utilizing the racks. I hope that this dishwasher lives up to the Whirlpool quality.

• So far so good with this washer, my only real complaint is that it takes an absurdly long time to wash. I’m talking 3 hrs. At first I thought it was malfunctioning or not installed correctly until I read the manual and saw this is standard. I think it is excessive. However my dishes come out super clean and this washer is very quiet. It is a standard capacity. I do love the third rack for large cooking utensils or other odd items. All in all I’m happy with the dishe washer, I just wish it washed quicker.

• The Whirlpool dishwasher is a huge upgrade from my 15+ year old dishwasher it replaced. It is extremely quiet even from standing right next to it. It takes longer to run a cycle but is much more efficient in the process. The inside design is the only thing that kept it from 5 stars. Don't get me wrong, it will hold a lot of dishes, but the layout leaves something to be desired. There doesn't seem to be adequate space for cups and glasses on the second rack. It should be all flat, but there is a raised section that is tough to work with. The top utensil drawer is great for large, flat items like spatulas. It also has a door open feature that is great for drying and energy saving but works best with a solid surface coutertop. Mine is formica, and the hot steam made the underside particle board swell, so the feature was turned off. I did install this myself, and it was a project for someone who's never done one before. All in all, I am happy with this dishwasher and its features. I hope it lasts for years to come.

• I replaced my dishwasher with the whirlpool and I'm not really that impressed. My older one had a lot more options and did just as good of job and it was half the price. It's not as quiet as it says but I do like the open door dry option. I mean over all it works decent but there's better deals that do more.

• Item exactly as described. Beautiful stainless steel finish. It’s SO quiet. The unit fits into a standard dishwasher cabinet space, but the internal capacity is tiny. Even with 3 racks, it isn’t enough for our large family. Running the dishwasher 4x a day isn’t practical.

• The install was flawless. Works great, easy to use. Held alot of dishes and pots. Let the dishes shining and sharp! So far it's been pretty quiet and sits flush with side counters. Can't wait to find the matching kitchen pieces!!! I love the modern stainless look

• Gets things clean. Drying is less than desirable. Plastic cups or Tupperware never dry all the way and then that moistures falls upon everything else. The rack design is not good and troublesome. It sets things at good angles but doesnt allow for changing it or for a lot of items both top and bottom. Lots of room for silverware. Not as quiet as I was hoping for either.

• People usually look at dishwashers and think "a dishwasher is a dishwasher", but let me tell you about this one. It not only has 3 racks you can fill up with dishes, but it has a built-in dishwasher water softener. Yes. For people like me who have hard water. I have never seen this feature before. I ran my dishwasher in hopes everything would get clean. My last dishwasher became a glorified drying rack because it just didn't clean well. This one! This one cleaned every dish and left it shining. Very impressive work.

• The dishwasher works well. I like the controls and it is much quieter than our old one. However, I am not thrilled with the way the dishes go in the dishwasher. I think this may be just an issue of getting used to the differences from the old dishwasher. Also, I am compelled to comment on the instructions. Both the installation instructions and the user/owner instructions are very poorly done.

• The dishwasher is pretty good. Does a good cleaning job. Easy to add detergent and good job of drying. The installers left a lot to be desired. They said it wouldn’t fit under the counter before they even measured it and I told them it was an ADA dishwasher. I had to lend them the right socket so they could lower the old dishwasher s foot pads to remove it. They groused about having to install a GCFI plug. Three and a half hours later when they were done I reset the breaker to power it up I said it’s ready for you to check the machine the one guy remarked that I was smarter than I looked. My facial expression was my answer to him. If I ever need it repaired I hope it’s not them.

• Had this for a couple weeks now and am still trying to understand how to use. I don’t want to use the dry cycle for an hour but the dishes just don’t dry. I usually use the quick cycle, but would like the ability to have the door stay closed and use the natural heat from the rinse water to dry the dishes. When the door automatically opens, the heat escapes and the dishes never dry.

• Wow! I didn’t even know it was possible to get a dishwasher with a third rack until now. I used to wash dishes with one of my two racks full of bigger cooking utensils. This frees up that space so I can wash more items per load and save so much water! The machine itself has a beautiful finish, and it operates more quietly than any dishwasher I’ve ever used. Everything gets clean the first time. I wouldn’t change anything.

• I did not realize this was designed for people with ambulatory issues, so it is closer to the ground. As someone with back problems but who is not in a wheelchair, reaching lower to load and unload can be difficult, so the fact that it is lower to the ground then most machines would have been nice to know. I do like the 3rd rack, but it does take some space. Even with the top rack in the upper position, I no longer have room for some items that previously fit on the bottom, which I now have to wash be hand. If I had to choose again, I might not choose something with the 3rd rack. Otherwise it has been great, and I love the salt to help prevent the calcium and hard water buildup.

• Do not purchase! This was just below the most expensive dishwasher Whirlpool makes. I needed white and this is what they offered as the best. The door is super flimsy and after a week it is now squeaking. The door almost falls open and the racks have very little weight so they almost slip out. There are few ways to put your glasses on top rack . Not sure how you can stack efficiently. If I could return it I would immediately. The LG which they also own company is much nicer quality. So disappointed in this machine.

• We had new hardwood floor placed in our kitchen and was limited to only ADA appliances due to the thickness of the new flooring. The WDT550SAPZ was available at our local home depot so we ordered it vs the ADA Bosch from our local appliance store which would take four months to arrive. The unit itself feels cheap. The cleaning ability is terrible! If I don't rinse our dishes/bowls completely clean before placing in the dishwasher there will be food residue. I use cascade liquid/powder combo pucks and rinse aid. One plus - I do like the extended dry/door open feature but the cleaning itself is poor. We unfortunately did not have the unit installed right away (due to delays with contractors b/c insurance claim) and missed the return window or we would have returned it right away. I am hoping WHIRLPOOL CANADA will do the right thing and allow us to return this dishwasher. Very disappointed.

• We’re stuck with it now. There’s an issue with it not fully dissolving the pod and leaving soap Residue. The divided wires really suck ergonomically.

• This was the best gift I cove received from Influenster for my honest opinion. Super easy to set up. A lot of space for big loads of dishes plenty of different cycles to choose from as well. 100% love it and recommend it to anyone needing a new dishwasher

• I got this Whirlpool Dishwasher with cabinets and three racks delivered in the mail! I have not installed it yet but can't wait to. I have heard so many great things about this Dishwasher and best of all it was free. Worth 9 hundred dollars brand new.

• This whirlpool dishwasher is one of the best that I have ever owned. Never need to rinse the dishes nor silverware before use and after the dry cycle every dish, bowl, and utensil is spotless. It runs quietly and I love it!
