• This gas range has been a game changer in our home. My husband is the cook here and he really loves it but specifically a few things. First off he really likes that there are two big burners up front. Previously we only had one and two it so nice. Second he loves the flat grate surface. It’s so easy to move pans around if need be and it’s so spacious that your pans don’t feel crowded. The burners ignite quickly and without any problems. Cleaning the cooktop has been a breeze, the grate top has two sections that interlock and it almost looks seamless like one big grate. Very simple to clean!The oven has worked really well for baking as well as keeping items warm. We absolutely love this gas range and would highly recommend it!

• The set up for delivery directly from the warehouse was seamless and uneventful. I arranged for a noon-2 delivery and they called to drop it off at 10 which worked out better for us as we had the rest of the day open. They brought the oven right where we asked and left it as expected. The delivery people we helpful and knowledgeable

• This fantastic and functional gas-free standing stove from Whirlpool looks great in my kitchen! The stove has 4 different-sized burners which make it easy to cook since it lights up fast. The elegant, black, and stainless steel design matches my modern kitchen. The oven door has a slow-closing option so it closes quietly and softly. We are a family of five, parents who cook every day for three teenagers. Having a practical stove is important, so we can prepare meals every day fast and easily. We are very pleased with this Whirlpool gas range, it has so many features, including baking and broiling. No preheat mode is required, has a self-cleaning mode, is energy efficient, and the oven is big enough to have two backing sheets or dishes. I love the Cast Iron Grates top, it's sleek and the same size as the whole stove. The only thing that I was not pleased with was that when I had to clean the top, I had to take both grates off the stove so that could clean it, it would not stand alone. I would highly recommend it.

• This gas range is super sleek in appearance. It was easy to have installed. It arrived wrapped very securely. I love the easy quick settings for frozen pizza, it heated up super quick! Unlike older gas ranges with individual burner cover this has 2 heavy duty covera that hook into eachother. This makes it easy to slide a pan off the burner! Each burner lights super quick! The in oven broiler means you still get to enjoy the drawer underneath!!! The broiler is electric also which I thought was neat! The range is super easy to clean. The 2 downfalls for me were that the drawer feels a little cheaply made and was really hard to get back in after leveling the feet. The burner cover were super light and also felt cheap. Otherwise this works great!

• I’m loving my new stove. It is definitely an upgrade from the one I had. I love the look on top. It is easy to use and it works great. Delivery was right on time. I love that they updated me every step of the way. And they installed the stove very professionally and quickly.

• This stove was a great upgrade it’s energy efficient. Has great safety features , it’s versatile is amazing with all the things you can do with it. The performance is awesome an will last you a while before needing a new stove

• Zero stars for service. Avoid buying direct. Our new range (delivered Dec. 26) has a faulty thermostat that sticks at 250°F. Whirlpool customer service refused a return because we had "used" the oven, blaming us for not testing it during delivery—even though they don't perform the installation! After hours on hold and endless transfers, I still can't reach a human. I’ve outfitted my entire kitchen and laundry room with Whirlpool in the last 3 months, but after this experience, I will never buy from them again. Total lack of accountability.

• I loooooove this gas range. Firstly, the aesthetics are great -- the cast iron grates covering the entire range looks really nice and is very functional. The storage drawer on the bottom is great and keeps me from forgetting I stored pots and pans in the oven. And speaking of the oven, it preheats super quickly and tells you what the temperature is as it heats up. Everything cooks super evenly in the oven and on the range. I also appreciate that the heat stays contained and the outside doesn't get dangerously hot since I have a toddler walking around all the time. Overall, I would definitely recommend not only this range, but Whirlpool in general. They have great customer service!

• This Gas freestanding range is absolutely amazing. The performance on this stove so far has been great. Looks super durable and best part is that it’s energy efficient which is a great money saver. You need to turn nobs to turn stove on which is great as a safety precaution as I have a small toddler that likes to play with things around the house. The look of this gas range is also super nice and makes your kitchen stand out.

• The blue numbers on the clock and digital screen are Terrible! Standing 4+ feet away you can hardly make out the numbers. Any further than that and it's all just a blurr, you can't see the numbers at all. The Gas oven sounds like a bomb goes off every time it ignites, scares my kids every time I Bake something. Not a fan at all, I will be replacing this appliance with a Samsung or LG

• When lighting one burner, all 4 of the burners spark. The bottom drawer is awful, it is only attached in the center so you have to pull it out perfectly centered or it gets jammed. The drawer itself fells very flimsy and cheap. The oven door makes a very loud and alarming snap/pop noise at the bottom left side every time it's opened.

• I have loved my new super sleek whirlpool gas range! It heats up so fast, and evenly. I have used it a dozen times so far and it still looks brand new. Clean up is a breeze and the top grates come off easily for access to the harder to reach areas.

• Sleek design and works well. The door could be made a little more sturdy than before. It fits nice in the space and looks great. The top gets dirty pretty fast and seems hard to keep clean

• Pros The glass on the door going from edge to edge looks sleek and is great for cleaning except for the ridge at the bottom of the door that acts as a gutter for anything that drips down the door and will quickly get filled with gunk. It’s one of those areas you’ll use a flathead screwdriver and a rag to try to clean the deep V groove out, but it will never by fully clean :( preheat frozen feature for lasagna and pizza is awesome. The controls are very intuitive and simple. The bottom of the oven is a flat tray that is easy to clean. The grill pattern on the top overlaps and makes it so there’s no straight seam and looks slick Cons The door hinge makes it, so you can’t keep the door open perpendicular to the oven, it springs up so the door is always add an angle. And when you let it try to spring closed, it only gets close and stays cracked. The knobs are shiny and feel cheap. For probably the same cost to manufacture, they could’ve made them feel more like a mid range oven. The knobs don’t turn 360°, if you are in the farthest position  (lo) you have to turn it all the way back through high and started to get off The metal around the upper display feels very basic. This is great if you want a minimalist view, but it makes it look cheaper. The burner covers catch liquids instead of dripping them off so they collect more food The metal area underneath the burners has three ridges, which seems unnecessary and creates more grooves to clean

• As of right now we cant get the actual oven to heat up. Lack of customer service care and outlandish rules to what is covered and not covered. We live in a brand new house with a brand new stove that doesn't work and Whirlpool themselves is saying it is most likely not covered by warranty and that we will have to pay for someone to come out to look at it. Even though they are brand new and we have only tried to use it once since we moved in 15 days ago. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I am beyond frustrated right now. Been getting the same run around for over a week now.

The sturdy grates are even across, making sure wobbly pots are a thing of the past. Quick tip: make sure to season the cast iron grates to allow for an easier cleanup. The assorted size of burners allow for efficient cooking. For example, you can use the Speedheat burner setting to boil a big pot of water quickly. I love the fact that preheating the oven is history. With this stove, no preheating is necessary. The oven will automatically adjust the temperature! I recommend the Whirlpool Freestanding Gas Range if you enjoy cooking with efficiency.

• The range works well. Only strike against it is the cook top. The shiny black enamel top has two small dull spots on it. My previous Whirlpool range (very similar to the above but with 5 burners and a convection oven) had the exact same issue. It was also registered with Whirlpool. There were several dull spots on shiny enamel. Not sure if it's an engineering issue (paint can't withstand hot food spill)? Can these spots be made shiny again? I have a photo but not sure how to attach it.

• So far so good, it's taking a little getting used to, the knobs for the burners are opposite from my last stove, and the one back burner won't start with the electronic ignition, but I seldom use those burners anyway since I only cook for myself and it wasn't worth the hassle of reporting it and having to go the exchange process. I've been having to use a counter top oven that bakes differently, so I'm still getting used to that. Overall I like the range and I am quite happy with it.

• I really like the look of this gas range. I also love the features it has. The no pre heat mode makes it easy for me to cook dinner much faster. It does heat up quickly and sometimes I do feel like it gets a little hot. So be careful when opening and closing the oven. I love that there is a speed heat burner that gets really high in heat and makes boiling water and soups so much faster. The flame gets high! I like that the grates are all flush and even all along the range. The only downfall to that is that you have to take the whole thing off to wash and it is a little bit on the heavy side. Overall I think it’s a good gas range and I like that the flames get nice and high so all my cooking gets done quickly. I never really broil anything but it is a nice feature to have. I have baked cookies in this and so far the cookies came out evenly cooked.

• I appreciate the safety feature when turning the knob it makes a clicking sound and immediately lights and you can adjust from high to low. I love this design with the black and stainless steel which gives a modern and sleek look. It's also well made with the sturdy flat top grates so I can easily move the pots and pans over without lifting them. The oven heats up very quickly. It's also easy to clean too.

• I have this range in white and it’s absolutely amazing. I will post a video once my kitchen is finished, my floor is being done. Anyway the range on top of the stove is absolutely stunning and it’s huge, there is so much space to cook with. The center of the stove has a heated section perfect for a comal. If you warm up tortillas you know what I’m talking about. I definitely recommend the range!

• This gas range is fantastic and I love everything about it ! The design is so beautiful ,sleek and modern. It makes my kitchen look professional. There are many great and practical features. I have been using it to cook and bake everyday .The performance is exceptional.It is also very easy to clean .The best stove I have ever had .

• Came with the house. I have no complaints about the oven. Works great and temp is perfect, but the stove top is so hot. I turn the temp to low and everything still boils. I don’t know how that can be remedied. Maybe it’s just the gas but I don’t remember having this issue with last gas stove.

• This range came with the manufactured home we bought. The company uses only Whirlpool appliances. Overall, we have been very happy with the range. There are 2 issues that could have been better. The range came installed with LP gas orifices, even though we specified we would be using propane. So, first of all, we had to change all 5 of the orifices. The oven orifice is difficult to change. Second, the stovetop burners burn too hot when turned all the way down. Simmering pans will actually burn if not stirred constantly, even on the smallest burner. The orifice issue was a one-time fix, and the overly hot low burners is only an occasional issue, though it is aggravating. Overall, we love the range.
