• Got an error code for the door after about a week of using it door would not open . Next the microwave would not stay on more then 2 second before giving an error code . Last the microwave never powered on again . I spoke with customer service and they were no help at all. They told me I cant get a refund because the product is fine to be repaired even if it the electrical components are malfuctioning . I dont feel safe with this product in my house and I am trying to get it out and replaced with another brand .Still waiting for it to be repaired !

• So my personal rating for this microwave based on my home's needs is 100%, as it has the perfect size and covers all our needs. I have a small kitchen and we don't use the microwave as much, just to reheat our food and drinks. It has a very sleek modern design, and all its buttons are digital. Its smoke extractor works perfectly and has low, medium, and high options, and so does the (very bright and crisp) light. It has many options, such as the defrost that works better than any other microwave I've had in my life as it only defrosts and not cooks, and in half the time than any other. Like I said, it is perfect for us, in my house, but if you want a bigger microwave, this one isn't for you. I wouldn't recommend either to an elderly, or just anybody who has difficulties setting up anything as this is a very tech-y appliance that has an app and even works remotely with wifi. I'm not saying that's bad as it is only an extra and you can also set it up to not use the wifi option, but why have it if you won't use it, you know what I mean?

• DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!! This microwave is so bad I am considering junking it and buying something else First issue is the oversized door. They put the controls on the door so the door is extra wide. You have to step back as it opens to avoid being hit with door. The placement of the controls also means you will be turning in the fan and/or often when all you want to do is open the door. There seems to be a glitch in the control panel. It often turns off and gives an error message claiming it has lost power. After that all settings have to be reset. This is a regular complaint in reviews of this product. I bought this microwave in January I had ordered their previous model and it was no longer available so was offered the new model Had I been able to see this model in person I would never had ordered it. It should be recalled because of the regular failure of the control panel

• Horrible product. Horrible customer service . Policy when bought is a scam . Wont take back the defective broke down microwave that failed after a weeks use . They sent a repairman who did not know how to get parts for it . Still waiting week 3 for the repair . No call from any one about when they will complete the repair . I do not recommend this microwave and I wont not recommend Whirlpool products for any one who values durable working products and fair policy and customer service . If i had the chance i would return the product and never use whirlpool again !! But i am stuck with the dead product because whirlpool scam policy!!

• I got the whirlpool low profile microwave hood from influenster. I've been meaning to get a new microwave for a while and was elated to get this chance, and it totally was worth it. It's a compact microwave so it's smaller than your standard one. I love it because I feel I have more room to lean over the stove. It can be controlled through the app. The microwave itself works very well and heats food up like a breeze. There's a lot of features preset, so that's an awesome perk. My favorite features are the light and vent. The light is a bright white color that makes it easier to see the stove in 3 lighting sets. The vent also has 3 settings with a boost setting. It really keeps the smell away as I cook and I love it. There even is a charcoal filter to filter out when you cook with grease. 10/10 microwave!

• I can’t even express how much I love this whirlpool microwave. My previous over the range microwave was to big and being directly over the stove caused it to malfunction. I am so happy to get to clear up some counter space now that I have this microwave. The small design and low profile are perfect for saving space in my kitchen. The compact size allows us to have larger pots on the stove below. The microwave is so sleek and is very easy to clean due to the non stick material.

• The microwave works well, and although my husband really likes it, I am annoyed by parts of it. I personally don't like the noise it makes when the food is done. A smoke beep is sufficient and clear amid all of today's electronic sounds, reminders, and alarms. I also don't like that another, different alert happens a few minutes afterwards unless you press"stop", even though you have already removed the food and closed the door. And I don't like all the electronic "buttons" on the door, instead of beside it, because it's too easy to bump various buttons accidentally when opening and closing the door, turning on the fan or lights.

• Yea I really wish I'd have gotten something else. The button touch on this is bad. It has this weird delay. When you touch the buttons especially fan and lighting, but overall most of them it has a delay before responding and for over 600 dollars?? This should be the absolute best ever. Also I don't need this wireless feature at all. I just wanted fingerprintless. Now I'm STUCK because if I return it I have to pay someone to take it out and put a standard low pro in which will cost hundreds of dollars for installation. REALLY UNHAPPY

• What can I say? I absolutely love this microwave! Its low-profile design makes it look incredibly stylish. The built-in vent is pretty quiet, and the fan works efficiently without making much noise. As for the microwave itself, it heats food evenly and works perfectly. I also really like the WiFi control feature—it definitely makes my life easier. Everything about it is great, but keep in mind the size. At 29 7/8 inches, it didn’t fit easily in the space of my old 30-inch vent hood, even though the cabinet was designed for 30 inches. I had to make some adjustments to the cabinets. However, once installed, it still looks very sleek and high-quality.

• The first unit I purchased had to be replaced within a couple of weeks because of a "faulty control board". Now with this replacement unit Every 3-4 weeks I get a prompt saying "power to your appliance has been lost..." it requires re-setting the date, time etc before using again. This has gone on for over 7 months. So no, I don't trust it will last long.

• I am SO happy I got this! The size is amazing, it makes me kitchen look more opened up! Installation took literally 10 minutes too! It’s such a gorgeous design, sleek, and color matches everything in my kitchen. It’s cleaning is so simple, and it’s so easy to learn to get around it. Makes NO noise, and has a cute music sound when whatever is in there is done! No regrets with this one!

• WOW - the owners manual ONLY has directions for installation - NO user manual. In initial setup, set clock for 12 hr format. Changed, on it's own, to 24 hr format. Online for 1/2 hour so far and unable to find directions to change clock settings. Whirlpool's website only has installation manual.

• So far, it's okay. For the price, I would have assumed it was at least 1100W but it is only 1000. It takes longer to cook/heat most items, even if you are using the built in settings. I really needed a microwave quickly and got exited that this one was available. Without really looking into it, it's my fault. I wish I would have waited for one, but it works. Just over priced due to its lack in performance. It looks good though..

• I love the design of this very efficient, low profile, microwave, which sits above the stove as a hood. He replaces the stove ‘hood’, and absorbs smoke from cooking. This design is great because it is a space saver. You don’t have to put your microwave on the countertop. I really love this, it is very slick and modern looking.

• I've been using my new microwave hood combination for about two months now, and overall, I'm really happy with the purchase. It replaced an older over-the-range microwave that finally gave up, and this new unit has been a solid upgrade in both performance and style. It has a clean, modern look that fits well in my kitchen. The stainless steel finish is easy to wipe down and doesn’t show fingerprints too badly. Food heats evenly and pretty quickly. Popcorn, leftovers, frozen meals—all come out consistently hot. The built-in hood fan does a decent job clearing steam and odors when I’m cooking on the stove. It’s not whisper-quiet, but it’s definitely not annoyingly loud either. The LED light underneath is bright and makes it easy to see what I’m cooking on the range. Sometimes the buttons don’t respond unless I press a little harder, especially with slightly wet hands. It took longer than expected to install—definitely a two-person job and not super intuitive if you're DIY-ing. If you're looking for a microwave that also helps ventilate your kitchen and save counter space, this is a solid option. It’s functional, looks good, and does what it’s supposed to do. A few small quirks, but nothing that would stop me from recommending it.

• Purchased, delivered and installed on 4/26. Microwave works good and I love the sleek style. The only thing I think that should be updated and changed is the control panel. the control panel needs to have a lock out on it for cleaning purposes. It is very touch sensitive so every time I it wipe it off, it turns on the fan, the light or the door opens. I simple button to lock the panel would fix this.

• I have had this for about a month and used it a lot. When it was first installed there was a "rattle" on the right side. The installer said it was most likely a fan and notified a technician who came within a few weeks and installed it. Problem solved. The microwave does not come with a user manual that explained the use of controls, so I couldn't figure out how to change the power level and stop the turntable. I chatting with them and was provided a reference to it. When I asked why it wasn't included with the microwave, I was told it was to save paper. Not sure it really saved paper since I needed to print it out. There are a variety of foods you can select from that the microwave will make the settings. I haven't tried all of them, but the ones I've tried work well with the exception of the one for baked potatoes which doesn't provide nearly enough time. In general, with few exceptions, I have very pleased with it.

• Have had 2 weeks and can’t figure out how to cook at 50% power. Also, control pad is on door making the door extra wide, have to step back to get out of way when opening or closing. Control panel needs to be on unit to make door less wide.

• It was purchased about three weeks ago. It does not have the same amount of power that a full size over the oven microwave normally has. It Quit working on about the third week. I have been on the phone with whirlpool trying to get it serviced for over a week and a half. Their communication with me regarding this product has been absolutely horrendous. This is the ninth whirlpool product. I’ve purchased in three years. I don’t believe I’ll be purchasing again due to the lack of factory support

• Love the low profile for my lower than normal height cabinet above my gas range. Plenty of room for normal size pots on the stove, very powerful exhaust fan also. Microwave works great !!!
