I purchased this 24" single wall oven for a wood/ metal shop my 12 year old son and I built. The unit arrived as promised. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition with no missing parts. The install was very easy; the wiring from the unit was about 3' long, which made the hard wiring connection into the shop's outlet convenient. The oven is easy to use with a responsive input screen. We use it for pizza, burritos, french fries, etc. The preheat option is just as quick as our double oven we have in our home. We are very pleased with this unit and strongly and whole heartedly recommend this wall oven.

This oven is such a nightmare!! We have a brand new home and this oven came with the home. I have tried EVERYTHING to get this to turn on. 1/2 the time it says preheating BUT never changes temp. Then when it does actually heat up it doesn't stay consistent. If you open the door to take something out the entire thing board starts to malfunction and then it won't go back to heating without exiting and starting over. I have sent so many tickets in on the app they never help. I don't know what whirlpool is doing but this is NOT the quality of product you would expect from them. I can't wait to replace this thing when I have extra money.

When you take out the item you are roasting/baking/cooking from the oven, the steam from the heat obviously rises from out the door, and it messes with the touchscreen pad directly above it. It is a feature that was overlooked during production i guess. Think about that when looking into this oven. I always have to reset the buttons like the baking temperature and especially the timer. Other than that it’s a regular oven that does the job. Foggy-ness is from that steam i mentioned

I bought this oven sight unseen from a major appliance dealer given it was the only one that would fit my wall dimensions. I have tried cooking homemade pizza a number of times both conventionally and with convection. This oven will not make the underside crispy even though the top is about to burn. I presume this is because the baking element is under sheet metal instead of on top which makes no sense. If the baking element were to burn out, how would I replace it it would I have to buy another oven? This oven was very expensive, not happy at all.

After one and a half years, the convection fan started making a loud noise. I discovered that the cap nut had fallen off and replaced it. The next time I used it for more than 20 minutes, it sounded like a jet airplane taking off. The repairman said the fan shaft is defective and needs to be replaced. However, you can't just replace the shaft, you have to replace the entire fan motor. It's going to cost me $500 to repair my nearly new oven that I use a couple times a week. AND, the motor is backordered with no date of when it will be available. To top it off, the regular oven doesn't get the food warm, so it's of no use. Really shoddy, expensive oven.

If I don't get this issue resolved I will return and never buy whirlpool ever again! The description says 27 inches height (with so called optional trim kit), well we didn't receive the trim kit and after talking to whirlpool 4 times they still can't find the correct part. They sent a trim twice but it's not what i need and now they are telling I need to have someone on site to have them check the part i need. How hard it is to look at your product description and send me the correct part!!! I shouldn't have to be dealing with this for 3 weeks. This part is also in your product installation manual so why you can't find it!

Oven looks great and works great. However, the oven needed to sit on a solid surface in order to raise it up by using the brackets included. There is a gap at the top as I am waiting for my contractor to make a solid surface under the oven. Also need a Junction Box. The previous oven sat on a frame of wood. When oven can be raised, then the extra stainless steel panel can be added to complete the look. Oven is functional without all this, just needs to look better!

Well made; size needed; looks stylish The scroll menu is nice however it’s hard to find where to touch for home, cancel, settings, lock etc. It would have been nice if all control buttons could be lighted like the clock and menu are. Sounds also need to be louder or maybe a different sound that catches your attention. I do like it sounds again you if you don’t hear it finish the first time.

Terrible. Oven takes an hour to pre-heat unless you use the convection setting to warm it up. Temperature is consistently at least 50 degrees below what it's set to. Oven cools down by at least 50 degrees when you put in cold food and then it can't seem to get back to temp. Also, standard cookie sheets/baking trays do not fit. Top element overheats food so I've had to rig up a makeshift damper to just not burn my food while trying to heat it.

This oven has nice features, good looks, and super easy to install. For installation issues, there is one disappointment with the absence of an electrical box connector on the end of the flexible wire cable. The cable should not be wired to a metal electrical box without a locking connector to prevent electrical wires from being damaged or shorted on sharp metal edges or pulled out the box. A cheap fix that needs to be improved. I refuse to install it without one, which delayed the installation until I acquired one. Again, it was super easy to install once I had the connector.

My oven was installed early in September and I was excited about trying it out. Unfortunately it got an over temperature error as soon as we turned on the power. I called Whirlpool and they set up an appointment with a local appliance service provider. The technician couldn't repair the oven and had to order a new oven controller. Three weeks later another technician arrived and installed the new controller, but the same problem persisted. I'm now in mid October waiting for a new temperature sensor to be ordered and installed. I hope it works! It's been 5 weeks and I'm still waiting to try out my new oven - not what I expected - so I can't give you a review of the actual oven. You might think I should just return the oven for a replacement. Apparently that's not an option with the vendor, Canadian Appliance Source.

I bought this oven in Dec 2023 and has not worked right since I got it. I called and the tech came out and said I needed to preheat it longer so I tried that in fact I preheat for about 30 min because that is what he said. No better. I called them back and the guy had to call someone to find out what he needed to do. They told him to see if it was heating to the right temp. It was so he said that was all he could do.The food don't cook even and takes longer to cook than it should. Peach cobbler nearly burns on part of it and not even brown on some of it. Biscuits don't cook good either. No more whirlpool for me. They say if the tech comes back out and says it is ok then I will have to pay for the service call and I told them no . I have got the extended warranty . So I am very upset. I am working with Better Business.

The installation WILL NOT BE DONE BY WHIRLPOOL BECAUSE THEY FONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT. My poor son got a hernia installing this alone because the two large delivery drivers made 4 calls and still couldn’t figure it out. SMH. And I’m still on 12 mos 0% financing with 3 useless whirlpool appliances. Why useless you ask? How can I possibly not think myself a fool for buying a fridge the drivers dented that already has rust spots on it, an oven that gave my son a hernia and a range you can’t see the temp on? They refunded $292 and assured me I did not pay $100’ea for installation, well I did. Furthermore, this is all attached to a major bank and now I’m going to take action as all is recorded. I don’t appreciate someone insulting my intelligence.

This is a factory replacement oven for a new oven that had a heating problem. This replacement still is not heating/baking correctly, the temperture is off and doesn't bake well. This size oven does NOT have a calibration mode. Going to contact the warranty dept and see what they recommend. Not really a happy camper.
granny03/30/2023 03:34 AM
I chose this oven because it fit into the available space and had a bigger internal capacity than others of the same size. Installation was difficult requiring very careful modification of the openings to leave a precise 1/8" space all around the appliance. Eventually it did fit and looks good in place BUT the temperature is 50 degrees below the setting. I have spent hours on the internet and talking to Whirlpool representatives, I've had a technician look at it only to discover this oven appears not to have a method of calibration. Clearly, this is a design flaw and you shouldn't be selling this product. I didn't realize I would only have the option of setting the oven in 25 degree increments and it only goes as high as 475. I didn't expect to pay $2000+ and have to comepnsate for incorrect temperatures. I will have to have the oven replaced and hope the next one operates properly but I don't feel optomistic. The 1958 GE that it replaced is a better product than this one. I don't recommend it.
serious cook10/29/2023 04:22 AM
I bought this oven on sale when my 33-year-old GE oven failed the day before Thanksgiving. It's small, but it's the only oven I could find that fit the wall opening. I like that it's white. It's easy to use, though I wish it had physical controls as well. One time the oven lost its digital mind and we had to reset the oven breaker for it to recover; physical controls might have made that unnecessary. The store I purchased the oven from (Lowe's) messed up the order, delivery, and installation in every way possible. I wouldn't recommend using them as installers if you can at all avoid it.
MarinaM07/25/2025 03:18 PM
This replaced a 24 in whirlpool wall oven and it's a great deal smaller. Used the bottom fillers that came with it and still had to buy something to fill in the gap at the top. A standard Cookie sheet pushes up against the door when closed and it will never connect to the whirlpool app. Disappointed for a 2 grand plus appliance
Brad02/24/2024 10:36 AM
This oven is complete junk. The inner glass shattered while self cleaning one month out of warranty. The parts aren't available so I have a giant $2000 paperweight in my kitchen. I suggest finding a different brand.
Skier873504/10/2024 03:57 AM
I bought this a few months ago to replace a whirlpool 24”built in oven . I like many of the features , such as convection option ; however it’s smaller than my other oven, my larger cookie sheets don’t fit . It took a lot of reading to understand the controls and I’m still working on some. I have no need for the WiFi . Overall it’s a good oven , I’m happy with it , it fits the space , except it’s about an inch shorter than the other, so have to find trim to cover the opening I’ve been happy with Whirlpool appliances and sure this one has more useful options once I learn to use them
New user02/02/2023 05:00 AM
When i bought this it took a while for it to come in. the installers were great. I've only had it 13 days so far. it's nice. I'm having to learn about i, since my last one was 20 years old. The only thing i don't like is the timer's sound is so low, I can't hear it in a busy kitchen..
