• I love the basics and storage of this refrigerator. It’s very limited “bells and whistles” keeps this refrigerator to its intended purpose. The ice maker however is not equipped with an automatic shut off sensor causing ice cubes to overflow and then catch the freezer door spilling cubes behind the door to the bottom of the freezer. Also the foot mounts at the freezer door could use a decorative cover inside of the plain steel bracket.

• LOVE this refrigerator. Having a counter-depth frig that is 24 cubic feet is perfect! Two critiques - we keep the ice bin turned off for the most part - when it gets full and you open the drawer, ice will fall behind it. Second - the settings on the side of the left door panel need to be higher - if you open the door to get water, my hand often lays on those settings and end up changing something. If they were higher up I wouldn't touch them accidentally. Otherwise it's a beautiful frig!

• We've had this refrigerator for just under two weeks and thus far we've been very pleased. We needed a counter depth model, and this fit the bill. We do not have access to hooking up water, so the water dispenser and ice maker were not important to us. The inside water dispenser is very discrete and does not detract from storage. Also, we were easily able to turn the ice maker off. Pros: Very Attractive. Photos to not to this model justice. I tried taking photos of the outside to post here, but they just don't capture how this looks in person. The finger-proof resistant finish is really good-looking. It is more matte than shiny, and has been very effective at staving off fingerprints. The handles, which I wasn't sure about when looking at photos, are actually really sharp looking. Also, the logo is classy looking with black, chrome and gold. Again, I couldn't capture the beauty in a photo. The storage is better than expected, and for reasons we can't quite figure out, it is much easier to see what we have on the shelves compared to our last fridge. This one also seems to hold more. That extra small shelf in both doors at the bottom is a great bonus. Setting the temperatures was very easy once I read the quick-start sheet. Cons: I was going to say "none" but the freezer space is definitely smaller that our previous one. We have a freezer in the garage so this is not a problem for us. I actually prefer to have less space for just the go-to items, so I can see everything without digging around. If you're relying on this as your only freezer though, you may find the size challenging. Our last fridge/freezer combo (a Maytag) lasted 15 years. I couldn't find anything by that brand that worked for me this time around, but nothing seems to be made to last these days. I'm hoping this Whirpool will surprise me and last just as long or close to it.

• I bought this refrigerator at the end of 2025 with the understanding that it would be delivered in 10-12 days, which was perfect as it was going into our newly built home which was going to be ready in 10 days. It finally arrived on February 12th. I bought it for its true counter depth feature but once it was in place, it had to stick out some so the doors would open fully. It came and was not level. The technician attempted to balance it but then it was not stable. So, I could have it not level side to side and stable or level side to side but rocking. He put a shim under it so it would not rock but it is still slightly unlevel. The features are nice but the room inside could be bigger. The ice machine works very well. Not sure I would have bought this model if I had known all of this.

• Even cooling throughout the refrigerator section. Maintains set temps in all compartments within plus/minus 2 degrees. Great styling. Main body of unit fits flush with cabinets. Adjustable shelves are well thought out and are very flexible. Ice making process could be a little faster, but not an issue if you don't use a lot of ice.

• It was delivered on 2/23/26 and broke within a week. I had to throw out hundreds of dollars worth of food. I called service and they told me how to reset it over the phone. It broke again a few days later. I reset it again and still no lights, ice or water filtration. Im asking for a replacement now, not a repair.

• It is still very new to me, and I'm enjoying it. I really like the French door-style with the freezer below. One thing I have noticed is that it is a lot noisier than my prior refrigerator. I also wish that the lower drawer in the freezer did not have the divider. It is also challenging to turn off the icemaker.

• This appliance was delivered on time by a very professional crew. It fits my needs nicely. My only disappointment is that it couldn't be positioned to true counter depth because doing so crimped the water line thereby interfering with both the ice maker and drinking water features. Otherwise fits my needs.

• I purchased this refrigerator as a replacement to a much older Whirlpool last month. It is a nice refrigerator, With back issues, it is nice to have the refrigerator above the freezer. The only small issue thus far is the freezer drawer takes a little more effort to close (slide) than I expected.

• I purchased 2 months ago and I love the look and the fact that it is counter depth. I have a small kitchen and this was the perfect addition. I am surprised by the room I have not only in the refridgerator, but in the freezer. I am still getting use to the french doors.

• dinged doors in my house on delivery and delivered with missing parts. Now on hold with Whirlpool. More than 3 hours on phone today waiting for help. They will come seven days after install to look at. NEVER AGAIN WHIRLPOOL

• Happy with frig/freeze but impossible to change lightbulb in freezer! I called appliance store that I purchased from and they are going to charge me $100.00 to come and change it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not happy about that!

• We've had several Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid refrigerators over the years. This is by far our favorite. Freezer ice maker. Inside unit water dispenser, so much better that the in door unit!

• Original refrigerator delivered January 20, 2026, and failed 10 days later. Stopped cooling and would not dispense water although interior lights remained operational. Spent about an hour on hold with Whirlpool customer service before reaching an agent who set up an appointment on February 6 with their contracted repair company. The technician diagnosed the issue as a failed power board{s}. He told me because the unit was a new model, replacement parts were not readily available yet and the boards were on back order. He called Whirlpool on their special service number for further clarification but could not reach anyone after 35 minutes on hold. He left having no idea when I might again have an operational refrigerator again. Subsequently, I contacted Whirlpool customer service to complain, and they ultimately decided to just send me a replacement unit. My new refrigerator arrived on March 3. The water dispenser stopped working about three weeks later. Contacted Whirlpool customer and they set up a new appointment with their contracted repair company. The repair company contacted me prior to the appointment and after brief communication informed me that I needed a new part that was unfortunately backordered and unavailable for at least thirty days. I recommend you not purchase this refrigerator. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but my experience suggests this model is poorly built and may eventually be subject to recall. In addition, the bottom drawer on both of the units I have received are VERY difficult to open and close and appears to be a design flaw that you will have to live with if you buy this item. I do know if my new refrigerator breaks again after the water dispenser is fixed, I will be demanding a refund from Whirlpool. A few other notes: 1. Whirlpool does not cover food spoilage under any circumstances; 2. The one-year manufacturer warranty begins upon purchase of the original refrigerator and not the replacement date if they provide a new one. Several customer service representatives tried to upsell me an extended warranty during phone calls.
