• I’ve been happy with my Whirlpool refrigerator. It’s simple, the perfect size for my needs, and works great. My last fridge had glass shelves, and it seems like they were always dirty, so I welcomed the change back to wire shelves with this fridge. It’s also got a good amount of storage space in the doors. The only thing I’d have to complain about is that the top isn’t flat, it’s got a bit of a curve to it, so the stuff on top wants to slide down near the edges. I’m not sure if it’s just something with mine, or if they’re all like that with this model. But other than that, I’m really happy with it.

• we had previously a bigger 20+ cubic feet refrigerator buy another brand, which cost more than twice as much is our new whirlpool. That refrigerator only lasted us year and a half before it started having major problems. And because of the pandemic we weren't able to get it serviced, so we ended up getting the whirlpool. we have been very pleased and happy with her quiet and dependable it has been. It keeps our food fresher longer. we have not had one single issue with it so far, and it is almost one year old.

• I paid premium dollars for a Big Chill Retro Refrigerator - from the very first day that the unit was plugged in it hasnt worked correctly from the beginning. Service department is absolutely zero help.

• I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so here we go. I'll start with the negatives and end on a positive note! I wish the shelves inside were flat and solid. It has wire shelves that make it hard for certain items to stand up. The veggie crisper drawers are nice, but they're made of thin plastic. They seem fragile. Sometimes the doors are hard to open! Maybe because it's so new. The gaskets create a tight vacuum. Other than that, it's a great fridge so far. It keeps food cold and it freezes frozen food. I like it very much. It's big for a single person, too.

• So i had a really old Maytag that instead of not running, just suddenly decided to run all the time freezing milk, eggs, lemons, veggies and whatever else was in the fridge, Too old to even think about fixing. This new Whirlpool is just perfect. Nearly full size,,,maybe about 4 inches shorter than a standard fridge, it does what it is supposed to do. Leeps things in the freezer ice cold, stuff in the fridge nice and cool. Pretty quiet, but it's a bit loud when it first turns on, but after like 5 seconds, it quiets right down and you can barely hear it. I wish the freezer had a light, but hey... for $600 you can[t have it all.

• I previously purchased a GE Hot Point refrigerator which had single control for both the freezer & refrigerator. It was horrible. It froze the contents of my refrigerator & melted the contents of my freezer. I was advised by the GE repairman that I need to purchase a refrigerator with duo controls for each the freezer & the refrigerator. I then went online & researched a product that could provide that option. I was limited by size due to the cabinets that hung over my refrigerator.I found your model. I ordered it & have been very happy with it ever since. I really believe that your company has made a reliable product. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for this size refrigerator!

• Have had the frig for 1 and 1/2 months and so far so good. i would suggest that a temp gauge be placed in the freezer and another in the normal cooler area so the temp controls can be adjusted depending on the number of times the frig is opened each day. the only problem was during the set up when the door opening direction was changed. a couple of the mounting holes required enlarging with a drill so mounting screws would align with the nut on the backup plate. The price was reasonable and I would recommend this frig if a basic frig is all you need. It fits our needs just fine.

• Am I crazy to expect a fridge should last 5 to 10 years at least? I didn't even get 2 years from this fridge. Complete waste of money on the fridge and the several hundred dollars of food I lost from it breaking. The repair tech I paid to try and fix it showed me that it had refrigerant leak and that the repair would be almost the cost of a new refrigerator. So, I was also out the cost of the service call as well. Lost food, cost of a service call to tell me it's not really fixable, cost of buying a new fridge, was without a fridge for nearly 2 weeks waiting on a new refrigerator, cost of having to eat out daily while waiting on a new fridge, cost of having it hauled off. What a huge headache. If I had to do it over again I would buy a different brand. This is not worth the trouble. It's literally a giant piece of trash.

• We bought this at a home improvement store, and picked it up ourselves. That was an issue, as when we unwrapped it, we found a large dent, which we didn't have the time to return to the store and get an un-dented model. I was somewhat amused to see that it comes with the company logo in an envelope, with instructions and a template for attaching it to the refrigerator. The template did not correctly match our refrigerator, either. Other than that, the light works, it cools, it's reasonably quiet, so it meets expectations.

• First let me say that I bought this by looking at the dealer's website because they did not have one on the floor. My fault. I have limited space for a fridge so bought the same size as the one I was replacing. Should have the same capacity, right? Wrong !! The shelves on the door hold half the bottles that I could fit on the old fridge, the butter compartment is half the size and there are so may vents in the freezer that it is at least 25% smaller. In addition, the coils are exposed on the back of the fridge with spacers holding the coils out by 3 inches. No one can tell me what the spacers are for but say don't remove them. Why? If it has to do with the water lines, I don't have an ice maker and quite frankly an ice maker would decrease the freezer capacity by another 50%. Very poor design.

• I bought this two months ago to replace a 13 year old refrigerator that struggled to keep my food cold. I wanted a basic budget fridge that was efficient, quiet, and that would keep my food really cold. This refrigerator surpassed my expectations! Although the temperature settings are kept at normal, the fridge is extremely cold and my food lasts much longer now. I am so happy with my purchase!

• I have this as a second frig in my basement, as a back up because the one in my kitchen was acting up. So far so good. From the first day it has kept the correct temperature setting. I keep a frig thermometer in the freeze and frig compartments. I like that it is a manual adjustment and not electronic. It has wire shelves and I like this feature also as it helps air to circulate properly and keep food colder. I am hoping this will last a long time.

• This refrigerator was installed in one of our residential travel trailers that we rent to homeowners displaced by a disaster. This unit failed in 24 months! The repairman said there was a faulty wield that allowed the freon to evaporate, which then required a new compressor and evaporator, which exceeded the cost of the freg. A weld failing indicates poor quality construction. The end result is; I will not allow my trailer builders to install Whirlpool refrigerators in my residential trailers in the future.

• I bought one recently. After delivery. Did the recommended 24 hour cooling cycle. Never got colder then 55. Freezer didn't freeze at all. 24 hours later. No cooling whatsoever. Temp at 70. Now fighting Lowes to get it replaced.

• We live in an old house with a small cove area for the refrigerator. This one fits perfectly! For our use we would have liked more fridge space and less freezer space, but overall it's a wonderful little unit.

• My new Whirlpool Refrig/Freezeris only a month old & already needs repair ! It was working fine until 3 days ago. I came home to find water all over my floor & everything in freezer is ruined.I called Whirlpool & was put on"hold" for over an hour. Never got any help. I am very frustrated.

• We had to remove the doors to get the refrigerator into the house. The screw holes for the door hinges were stripped and we had to get a tap to fix the threads. The refrigerator is difficult to level. There is no adjustment for two of the feet. The bottom drawer frame is molded plastic and is warped. The glass shelf does not rest evenly on the support and will break if any weight is put on the shelf. The freezer doesn't get cold enough even on the max. setting. The first one we picked up had two big dents in the sheet metal so we had to take that one back and then had to take a floor model which cost me a whole day of my time farting around at Menard's with returning the original and finding a supposedly new one that didn't exist.

• I bought this less then 2 years ago, installed by pros. "Sealed system" broke and per 2 appliance repair services the costs to replace the part are equal to buying a brand new unit.
