• Basic refrigerator and no frills which I knew going into the purchase. I did not expect the craftsmanship to be as poor as it is. All of my home appliances are whirlpool and this is the first one I am disappointed with. Multiple areas that should have caps are left without showing exposed cut raw metal, styrofoam, and insulation. Protective plastic wrap that covers the stainless steel during manufacturing and transportation is trapped between edges and looks poor. Also several tiny holes throughout the inside walls with tiny insulation foam poking out and silicone clumps in edges. Functional it works fine but cosmetically it’s a mess.

• I purchased this refrigerator to replace one that I had for 11 years. Unfortunately this appliance has been very disappointing as the freezer door has failed to seal, ice has constantly accumulated in the freezer, and the refrigerator has cooled irregularly resulting in frozen produce. I have had nearly a dozen service appointments since purchasing this unit in April, but five months later these problems remain and seem to be getting worse.

• Bought this refrigerator on May 27, 2020 (1) There is exposed foam on the top of the freezer door I think there should be a plug or cap there... and the plastic freezer door cover is peeling around the hole... (2) All round the unit you can see foam and gel overflow here and there I guess no quality control inspection on this unit. (3) There is no top door hinge cover exposing white grease on the hinge itself. (4) The vegetable drawers do not stay in place, They don't fit properly in this unit. Every time the door is opened the drawers are opened leaving a 1.5" gap that defeats the purpose of having vegetable crisper drawers. (5) All the glass shelves in the freezer and fridge are flimsy and bend very easily, the plastic/glass shelf which holds the vegetable crisper drawers in place is equally if not more flimsy than the others. (6) The bins on the doors seem strong and durable and hold plenty of items. Overall I am utterly disappointed with this refrigerator and the $749.99 price I paid for it. The return policy from Best Buy also is an utter disappointment... 14 days to return it or you're stuck with something you don't want for life. I trusted whirlpool appliances since I was a kid, how times have changed. What ever happened to customer satisfaction, 100% money back guarantee and quality craftsmanship.

• Purchased a month a go exactly and the quality of the fridge is not good, the fingerprints are very clear marked and at the time of cleaning you can see the water marks by a little bit of rust outside the door. It cools thing very good but within a couple of hours it seems to -maybe fall a sleep- so the thing lose the temperature. I noticed that by my sparkling water. Sealed can will show the bubbles in the outside of the can due to temperature changes.

• Quality of product delivered was less than satisfactory. Missing plugs, insulation from oozing out of all different spots on folds and holes. I guess u do get what you pay for but even the most basic fridge should be put together properly.

• I bought my refrigerator from Lowe’s. Even bought the extended warranty they sold me. The day I brought it home the freezer was broken. The door cracks/pops when I open it. I had Whirlpool (authorized mechanic they sent) to come look at it. They told me the doors and hinges need replacing and also the fridge had been overfilled so it was not the shape it should be, the seal for the freezer was not sealing. And something about screws and the shelf was jacked up. Ice keeps forming in the freezer. This fridge is less than 3 weeks old, but I had a problem since day one. Whirlpool says they will not honor the warranty. So I will tell everyone I can about my experience and I will never support this company again.

• It came damaged. The rear lower panel had clearly been removes, bent, banged, broken and then put back on. The screws are completely crooked holding this on and tore my hand up when I was moving the fridge.

• Being without a refrigerator for nearly 3 weeks was rough. The old top freezer part worked but not the bottom half. We will soon connect this new one up for the ice-maker. It is easy yo care for and keep clean inside and out and most importantly, keep our food at the right temperature! We bought it at Home Depot and the delivery guys were the best we ever had. I would highly recommend this Whirlpool Refrigerator for it's quality in craftsmanship and energy efficiency, plus it's good looks. Thanks Whirlpool!

• I've had my Whirlpool refrigerator for five months, and I should have reported this problem months ago. There is always a build-up of ice in the top freezer. I do not open the door often, and I never leave it open very long. An appliance technician took a look at this on May 28, 2020, and said that it is common with the new refrigerators. This is terrible! My 24-year-old Amana refrigerator never had this problem. I wanted to update my "old white" frig for a new stainless steel. I was not having problems with my 24-year-old Amana. I am NOT HAPPY with the ice build-up. PLEASE HELP. What can be done?

• I bought this one month ago - paid Menards $80 to deliver it to my front steps. Apparently the Menards delivery guy is contracted out - and he damaged the fridge and the range I bought when he was delivering. When I contacted the contracted driver's boss and insurance company about the issues, they told me they were Menards issues. The feet on the range were bent up due to the driver scooting the range across the truck and on the cement, rather than using a dolly to move it and the back of the fridge, I felt, was the driver's fault, as well. But I called Menards. They set up delivery of a different fridge and gave me a credit for the damage to the range. The second fridge delivered, with what appeared to be more damage than the first. The drivers agreed there was an issue and said they'd contact Menards right away, but then told Menards that I refused it due to scratches, which was incorrect. Turns out, the delivery guy left a bolt in the bottom of the fridge before he brought it into my house, and in turn scratched up 13 of the tiles on my kitchen floor, then left with the second fridge because the stray bolt threw the fridge off kilter and made it appear that the freezer door was broken so I refused it. There are scratches on the inside top corners of the fridge (the first one and the second one, like it was done at the Whirlpool factory, prior to Menards getting it), like something metal scratched it and there is so much grease inside of it and on it that I get it all over my hands any time I need to get into the fridge. As much as I want my new fridge to look new and be new, Menards (or at least the drivers that are contracted to deliver their appliances) has done damage to my floors that they're not going to fix - so I don't even want them to attempt redelivery again.

• We bought this fridge as a step up from our current model. So excited to get it up and running and then we see the terrible craftsmanship on the doors. Everywhere that the sealant material was dispensed is puddled up and squeezed out of the door. Take a look at the pictures for yourself. Very disappointed with the quality of this fridge...

• The bottom edge of the freezer door is sharp and will get either the top of your hand as you open the door or your head if you bump it reaching in the refrigerator. The refrigerator door doesn’t have clearance to swing over your foot. The top of the freezer door has a spot where they filled it with foam and didn’t cover the hole, you see the foam. The upper corners of the freezer opening has plastic covers glued on to cover the joints one has fallen off. They interrupt the seal of the door at the corner.

• We bought the refrigerator about 2 months ago. Fridge is running fine and holding temperature. However my wife and I are very disappointed with the finish work of the product. There is residual hardened glue that oozed out from many of the trim pieces. (See photos). This is very unsightly. Can’t be remove the glue. Thank goodness we put the fridge in the basement. We’d never want company to see such a crude looking fridge in our kitchen. We’d be embarrassed. This is the reason for 3 stars.

• Bought this refrigerator to fit in my small kitchen. The scale is just perfect for my room. What drew me to the refrigerator was the modern yet vintage looking design. It's perfect for my 1950's home. Love the smooth white finish as it feels updated and the chrome accents are great. Very spacious and so many great features. The light inside the refrigerator is very bright. Will be adding the ice maker soon!

• This is a very well made refrigerator. We only buy Whirlpool products as they always stand the test of time. We now have 3 Whirlpool refrigerators and this model was for the dining room. This refrigerator model is the perfect size for all our meal prepped foods, protein drinks, sodas, produce, and so much more. It has a very stylish look and plenty of space inside both the fridge and freezer. I love that you can place items on the door in the fridge and freezer which adds the extra storage we need. bed. Another great quality is the fridge is as silent as it is superbly efficient. I highly recommend this fridge!

• We like the fridge, just not the fact that the insulation is seeping out of the seams in the handle, bottom edge and sides of the unit. It even glued the screws on top of the unit so we couldn't move the handle to the other side. We had to have a service repairman come to help us so we wouldn't damage the fridge. When I called Whirlpool they told me to use a razorblade to remove the insulation. They also referred me to a YouTube video on how to remove tape (?).

• I purchased my 28 inch Whirlpool refrigerator on April 29. It is so vety quiet that I hardly ever hear it. It is very basic with the freezer on top and frig on the bottom, which is exactly what I wanted. There is no ice maker or water feature, which is perfect for me. I love the fact that the handles are built in, so the entire front is flat. It is black and matches my stove and also my notty pine kitchen. I am extremely happy with my new refrigerater!!

• Everything works perfectly. Stainless steel smears easily do I wrote it down with there refresh cleaner once a week.i read the reviews and was concerned but it works perfectly. It is hard to get the plastic out the corners but it can be done it's narrow but taller so it still holds allot. I have the set with the whirlpool gas range it looks beautiful. I filled it before the waiting period and everything froze will even though I packed it to the brim. The bottom is very cold and I have it on the recommended level. The produce has started fresher far longer than my old one. I would recommend it.

• Unit seems to have excessive motor or compressor noise. Fit and finish on the top edge of the freezer door is poor, expandable foam seems to have deformed the top edge and is visible between the seam. Also cannot get desired freezer temp of 0 degrees without making the refrigerator go below freezing.

• I just had this fridge delivered yesterday. The delivery guys turned it on and set the temperature so only after they left, I went back into the fridge to remove all the extra pieces of tape and noticed this weird THING hanging in the back, with exposed pieces, and the center object looking DISGUSTING?! What is this? What is it for? Why is it exposed in the fridge!? It is gross and looks like something coming out or leaking? This is clearly not how a new fridge should come?! Is it even usable?!
