• Nice unit!! Please with the CFM it moves without being loud. Easy install and connectivity to existing wiring. Easy to use controls. I did add a small stainless steel plate to cover the internal vent opening

• Received the range hood. Nice looking, well built, installation was simple. Only thing I do not like is the included light bulb! Way too dim for cooking purposes.

• What an improvement! When we upgraded our island cooktop, we decided to replace our range hood as well. We initially purchased a GE model JVX5300SJSS, which is a fully-enclosed hood with 2 halogen lights. That turned out to be a nightmare, since replacement of just ONE of the lights would cost $45, and since we couldn't remove the actual bulb, a technician would need to be called (a $99 trip charge plus the cost of the bulb). Even though it was only a little over a year old, we went ahead and replaced the entire unit with the JVX3300SJSS - which uses a regular type A15 bulb. Since I do the marjority of my "messy" cooking on the gas grill located outside, I've only used the fan a few times. Works fine for my needs. But, since my other kitchen lights are a set of 4 overhead cans, I leave the light on the range hood illuminated often - especially at night. This was the issue with the first hood: replacement of the bulbs was extremely expensive; this one, however, uses a common size that I can purchase at the grocery store for a whopping $5.49 for a two-pack. Score! Super easy to replace the bulb and it does a great job lighting the cooking area on the island. I so wish I'd gone with this one first, as it was literally half the price of the other GE model we bought. Very happy with this one!

• We've been using our new range hood for almost a month now and we really enjoy it. It's quieter than our prior vent / microwave combo, takes up far less space, and is easy-to-clean. Plus, the light covers more surface area so we've been using its light when cooking. Thank you for a great product, GE.

• I selected this product because of its appearance and lightness. It fits well under my cabinet with minor complications or adjustments to the unit, except that an electrical plug had to be attached to it. Other than that, it looks nice in my kitchen.

• Nice looking hood. Works well. Had a small issue with the light, however, after readjusting the bulb, the light worked. Installation by the team was great. Controls are easy to use.
