  • I did a twice baked potato recipe that called for olive oil on potatoes and potatoes directly on the rack. The baked on oil on the tray would only come out if i scraped it with my finger nail, and then only partially. Had to use the oven again and the stuff wouldn't come off at all, even sitting with Dawn. No sponge, scrub, etc worked. Now the surface is full of pinholes and smoke stunk up my house on preheat.

  • I’m the same issue it seems everyone leaving reviews is having. Following manufacturer directions to dishwash, hand soft scrub, soak, etc and baked on mess just doesn’t fully come clean from this tray. Now the coating is coming off and every time we preheat it smokes up the oven and smells terrible. Im honestly afraid to keep using it cause tje coating burning up while cooking cant be good for the food we are consuming. The company really needs to address this issue and help is out with replacements!

  • Cleaning this thing has been an unmitigated disaster. This is what I tried: -Soaking overnight in dish soap -Rubbing with Barkeeper’s Friend -Using the steam-clean function in the oven -Spreading a paste of baking soda and vinegar -Putting it in the dishwasher Absolutely nothing worked, even while using a plastic razor blade. I’ve only had the oven for a month. And it's not as if I have a large family; I used it once maybe twice a week. Did anyone actually test this? What can be done to make this right?

  • I just got my new GE Range about 1 month ago and thought the easy wash oven tray was an awesome idea. SO WRONG. Some greasy sauce dripped on it. Tried to wash it. It wouldn't come off. Actually, the coasting came off. I was looking at replacing it but I really hate to buy a new tray and I feel that due to the "false advertising" of how easy this is to clean, I should get a free replacement from GE.

  • I thought this removable oven tray was a genius idea. I was wrong. I don't know what is supposed to be easy about it. Once something is stuck on it, forget it, it is not coming off.

  • The tray is difficult to wash, and it is smaller than the bottom of the oven. Spillage can get under it. I got a VERY BAD cut on some sharp metal when trying to clean the bottom of the oven - cut right through the Magic Eraser and my finger like butter!

  • I hope someone at GE Appliance sees this posting. I have a brand new GE Profile Induction stove. The easy wash oven tray isn't easy wash in fact when food burns on it there is no way of removing it. I would like a replacement easywash oven tray and from now on I will line it with aluminum foil.
