• Purchased and installed. The 10 minute install is a JOKE! Guaranteed it's an hour if you already have all the tools handy. Bigger issue is...purchasing a charcoal filter is not possible, at least not from GE.. They are out of STOCK! No Dimensions given, so you can't have one fab'd. Hello GE you're killing me!

• So easy to install. I was wondering where the screws were until I removed the metal filters. Installation was a breeze.

• I ordered the filter. I see where it fits. Where are the screws? There were none in the box and there aren't any up there.

• While this filter claims to fit my GE vent, it doesn't look like it to me. Instructions for mounting the filter on page 7 of the manual are vague and poorly illustrated. Mounted with "tabs against blower" the filter protrudes slightly into the metal grease filter below it. Provides virtually no ventilation to the right side of the vent this way. Also filter does not seem securely in place. Tried installing it the other way, not as bad a protuberance but still looks wrong.

• I was told the JXCF55 filter is what works with the JVX5300SJSS range. I don’t think that’s correct.

• I purchased two beautiful stainless steel GE range hoods for my home. They worked great until I had to replace the filters. There are none to be found. On the filters and parts page reviews I see that people have been trying to get these filters for years. I now have two beautiful grease collectors over my stoves with exhaust fans I cannot use. I would never recommend this GE product to anyone. It is unfortunate that a five star product became a one star waste of time and money due to lack of supply of necessary maintenance parts. I am a very disappointed customer.
