• The fresh compartment is always below 30°F. All my food gets frozen. It has already been repaired twice, but the problem persists. I have also scheduled a third repair appointment, hoping that the third time will finally fix this issue. I am very unhappy with this refrigerator.

• The Kitchen Aid Counter Depth Refrigerator is designed to perfection. It was easy to set up my preferred temperature settings with the control panel. It lays flush with my cabinets, making it appear built in. I love the French doors and stainless steel look of the refrigerator itself. It has a filtered interior dispenser for water and ice, leaving the outside sleek and modern. It has tons of room, including a full-width pantry drawer. Keeps the food cold and fresh at all times. There are so many great design features that make this the perfect refrigerator.

• My KitchenAid Refrigerator is fantastic. It is beautiful, has an interior water dispenser, and tons of room to fit anything inside. Let me start by saying the French doors are great. They open up to a gorgeous fridge that is super easy to clean. My fridge fit perfectly into my kitchen with its stainless steel exterior and got ice cold with no problem. The freezer is super nice, too. I fit a whole turkey into it for Thanksgiving dinner, which the freezer kept frozen with ease. I also live that the water dispenser is on the inside and not outside of the fridge. It looks better and makes less of a mess. I absolutely LOVE my fridge and would recommend it to anyone seeking a high quality fridge that they can depend on.

• Disappointed in the quality of this refrigerator. After 7 years had to replace with the same fridge due to difficulty finding size. The new model is very cheaply made. The drawers are very flimsy. There are small details that have been overlooked compared to older models. There are screws that show on the side of the shelves (see pics of old and new) and also the door hinges on the bottom of doors are stainless steel whereas the old ones were black and looked a lot cleaner (see pics). Unfortunately, quality has downhill! Will not purchase again.

• The KitchenAid counter depth French door refrigerator with interior dispenser is nice and stylish and easy to clean. I really like the water dispenser; the only thing is you need both hands. It chimes when a door is left open which is always nice! The freezer easily fits frozen pizzas! Overall is a nice refrigerator!

• I received this KitchenAid fridge for free in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say, I'm really impressed! I upgraded from a standard depth side-by-side to this counter depth model, and it fits all our food perfectly for my family of three. I love the full-width pantry drawer – it's great for cheeses, tortillas, and long veggies. The door shelves are awesome too, with plenty of space for all our condiments, and I don't miss the awkward butter holder that most fridges have. The pull-down wood-look temporary shelf is a lifesaver during the holidays for stacking slim items like pies or leftovers. The freezer has a surprisingly large capacity; you can stack items high in the top drawer, and it fits more than you'd think. The ice maker is a joy – it gives a constant flow of ice, which I much prefer over the in-door dispenser of my old fridge. The inner water dispenser is a bit inconvenient, but it works well and fills my 32oz stainless bottle quickly. The fridge is nearly silent, very efficient! I also love that you can open either door independently to grab something quickly, and the counter depth design gives us more space in our small kitchen. Overall, this is a fantastic refrigerator, and I'm really happy with it!

• I bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago and within the first week the freezer light went out as well as ice appeared on my items in the freezer. The best buy geek squad came out and found the light functioning but stated the freezer side guide rails were crooked. They ordered new parts, installed but now I noticed that there is a one eighth inch larger gap between the refrigerator hinge and top of the freezer drawer on the right side than the left side. The interior full width pantry drawer droops down and open an extra eighth of an inch on the left side, appears to be sagging. I am not sure how this is going to affect the items stored in that compartment.

• I purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator directly from kitchenaid.com on December 27, 2021, including a 5-Year Extended Service Plan. This weekend, the refrigerator broke, and what followed was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Over the past few days, I have called customer service nine times, spent a total of 159 minutes on the phone, and spoken with nine different representatives—without any resolution. I’ve been transferred between departments, disconnected multiple times, and repeatedly forced to re-enter my phone number into an automated system that ultimately tells me I don’t have a service plan—despite having purchased it with the appliance. Only one person, Kyrah, made a genuine effort to help by asking me to text her a photo of the refrigerator tag to try to locate my order. Unfortunately, even with those extra steps, she was unable to resolve the issue. To support my case, I have even attached snips from the manufacturer’s website showing proof of my purchase—yet still no one can seem to help. Not pleased is an understatement. After all this time and effort, I still have a broken refrigerator and zero support from KitchenAid or the extended warranty provider. Buying directly from the manufacturer should mean better support—not a complete breakdown in service. I expected more from KitchenAid. At this point, I would strongly caution anyone against relying on their extended warranty program or customer service. It’s simply not worth the stress.

• Kitchenaid counter depth refrigerator was packaged nicely. Lightweight compared to my old refrigerator and easy to assemble. I love that it has plenty of space but also sits flush with the cabinets. It gave me so much more room to walk around in my kitchen. Interior water dispenser did leak when we first hooked it up. No longer leaking. It also has an ice maker along with storage racks in the freezer compartment for optimized storage. You can change the control settings for cooling and ice. Very nice!

• We purchased a K.A. refrigerator on 11/12/25 and was delivered on 11/1725. Two weeks later the freezer door developed rust. We are still waiting for the part to be installed. Our K.A. range also developed rust after since new on 4/17/25. Now we are waiting to see when our new K.A. dishwasher will develop rust. The factory authorized repair service said the Whirlpool will only cover rust issues for only one year, even if you purchase the extended 5 year warrantee. We have had other issues with the refrigerator and asked Kithchen Aid for a new refrigerator but they refused. We also found out that Whirlpool is the company with rust issues. What are you doing about this?

• I am loving this fridge! The refrigerator is so spacious. The temperature control is very easy to use and program. I wasn’t sure if I would like the water dispensing on the inside but it actually helps keep the front of the fridge clean so I think it’s a plus. Ice maker works well and we bought a little scoop to use. It’s quiet and efficient. I also love that the freezer drawer is soft close.

• I’ve had the refrigerator a week. I am so glad we did not get ice maker on the top- it makes so much more room on the door for drinks and other items. The freezer is not very big in space but good for us. Counter depth was key - it doesn’t stick out much which looks nice- I do notice it is very loud

• Keeps things colder and the water is very cold. The drawers thou seem like they r made cheaply, I feel like I’m breaking them a the time. Wish I would have got a bigger one, got store have of the things I did in it like my other one

• This fridge is about a third larger than our old fridge. Lots of room in the doors and shelves are adjustable to meet our needs. We like the separate pantry and produce bins and that they are transparent so we can see our inventory at a glance The cold filtered water is handy for water bottles. Freezer is large with separate bins and double shelving for easy finding what you need. Ice bin is large which is what w we need for big family living in a hot climate. Fridge is easy to keep clean. Temperatures are precise and evenly maintained . Quality of the unit is very high. Really like the pull down extra shelf which comes in handy for dessert or appetizers. Great fridge ! Highly recommend!

• Purchased two months ago. It is running perfectly so far. The compressor is not very noisy when on; and ice maker and water are working well . I bought it because I was unhappy with our similar Samsung refrigerator which was only 10 years old and had ongoing defrost problems , ice buildup and leakage. Two different repair men recommended KitchenAid, and we were happy with our other Kitchenaid appliance ( Dishwasher). My only criticism is that the plastic drawers are a little flimsy, and I wish the shelves slid all the way to the back. A small jar can slip off the back of the shelves.

• Bought the refrigerator in February of 2025 from Costco. The doors were never aligned perfectly and there was the door seal stripping that was tearing apart. It had gotten worse so I called for service as it is still under warranty. The service repair man came (barely spoke english) and left without doing a thing. He told me his company would get back to me, but I haven't heard a thing since then which was Monday Nov 24th, 2025. Very disappointed in KitchenAid. You can see from the pictures the seal/weather stripping falling apart and the doors not aligned properly.

• We love our new refrigerator but would like to point out one issue and that is with the interior water dispenser. Our prior Samsung french door, bottom freezer had an interior water dispenser that was activated by pressing the rim of the glass against the button and the water would come out of the spout located just above the glass, requiring one hand which was very convenient. Our new fridge has the button that activates the water located above the spout, so you have to hold the glass under the spout with one hand and press the button with the other hand, requiring two hands also while holding the door open with your body.

• I love the look of this refrigerator! Beautiful white with chrome handles- everything looks high end but without the high cost! It is a bit smaller than my old fridge but it’s much more user friendly than fridge on the bottom. I can see everything in there and it’s easier to keep clean as well. Not much freezer space.

• Wanted to love it but I can’t. 1. So noisy when it makes ice. Annoying but the least of my complaints. 2. The rubber on the doors started splitting after a month and now the magnetic strip keeps falling out. 3. The bottom of the freezer is constantly covered in ice and frost keeping the drawers from being pulled out or shut. 4. Produce drawers are flimsy and we are constantly closing them about the temp control and then they get stuck. So disappointed to spend that much money for poor quality.

• Generally happy with the fit finish and operation. Great ice production. However the two part water dispenser isn’t flush with the interior surface. The top half has two interior small clips that won’t grab.

• Small, but mighty. This fridge is a no frills product that has been reliable and consistent. The freezer freezes and consistently makes ice and the fridge stays cold. I know that sounds crazy but I just ended a two year nightmare with a Frigidaire that never worked right. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a refrigerator that works as intended. I opted for a model that I can fit in my house without taking the doors off the fridge and has fewer bells and whistles to have less that will go wrong. If I had a complaint it would be that can't fit my pitcher on the shelf and it shows fingerprints easily.

• The fridge space is very nice but the freezer is a bit small. I took a star off for the freezer space and for the location of the water fill inside the fridge. Also getting ice out of the ice tray is a bit challenging. I like how you can easily see everything you have inside, even the drawers. Also like the extra shelf that you usually don’t see in most fridges and how I can rearrange the shelves to fit almost anything. Overall it’s a good refrigerator.
