I bought this fridge direct from Whirlpool based on how cool it looked in the showroom... after they installed the fridge we noticed that the top grill panel is stainless steel and the rest of the fridge is black ore....it appears that the wrong top grill was put on on our fridge prior to being boxed... Also some blemishes in the finish... 3 hours of hold time... Kitchen Aide saying the parts are not available. For $10k you would expect that the fridge would match the photos...somebody at the factory put the wrong colored part on this fridge... not sure of our options as customer service said that they have no ETA on the parts.. Will probably have to send it back... shame because the install was such a pain.

We purchased this after the failure of our original KitchenAid refrigerator which lasted 19 years! It was a no brainer to go with kitchenAid again as they are quality appliances built in America. We love this new refrigerator!

Beautiful, fits in space perfectly and worked exactly as it should for 10 DAYS…just learned it has a faulty compressor—its main component—-and no telling how long we’ll be without a working refrigerator again or how long the repair will last.
