Manufacturer reviews · owners of this model, published on the manufacturer’s site

  • This unit worked perfectly in our cabinet space very little little alterations and match well with all our appliances couldn’t be happier

    George 00707/05/2025 04:20 AM

  • Nothing but problems. 2 months old and wouldn't run initially due to a wiring issue which was actually to spec. Then the convection fan broke loose. Also that bottom thing isn't a drawer it's just a waste of space. The touchscreen doesn't work that well. Also the software interface is bad, you can't easily change from Bake to Convection etc.. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

    Matts199912/30/2023 04:19 AM

  • I purchased this unit and I too used the self clean oven feature like many people in the review's, and now my oven no longer works. The oven locked and lost power, it no longer works. I don’t understand why KitchenAid hasn’t recalled to replace this part or advised customers NOT to use this feature. I’m extremely upset that I used a feature on my oven is not working any longer, due to a faulty feature where this has impacted so many customers.

    Chiptip0410/22/2024 06:20 AM

  • This oven will NOT work on the self-clean cycle. It blows 2 fuses. I bought all new KitchenAid appliances for my kitchen because of the quality of these products. My oven was only 18 months old when I decided to clean it. KitchenAid sent an 80 year old techician to my home from 70 miles away. He came 3 times to fix it and told me not to call him back because he did not know what was causing it to blow fuses on self-clean. Apparently, after reading the other reviews, this oven is defective. KitchenAid should recall this model. I have already discussed this with so many of your customer service reps. Yes, check, this out!!!!! I am a retired home economics teacher and I will never recommend another KichenAid oven to anyone.

  • Installation was smooth and worked immediately. Next morning oven would not work. Serviceman came within a few days and after several hours of testing found the problem. The spade connectors inside the oven back were missed size so there was loose connections to the oven terminal block. This lack of attention to detail at assembly is cause for concern to me.

    Dale89709/13/2023 01:51 AM

  • This oven is a total waste of money. As others have stated you cannot use the self cleaning cycle unless you want to blow 2 fuses and have no oven for about 2 weeks. My only savior is that I had enough for sight to purchase an extended warranty, believe me you are going to need it. Also it takes about 45 minutes to reach a oven temp. over 400. It went to 400 then just stopped for about 20 minutes, I had to shut off and start again before it finally went to the 425 temp. I needed for baking. I have never had such a bad experience.

    Bichonmom11/07/2023 12:50 AM

  • After extensive research, purchased b/c we felt like it was a quality product. First time during the cleaning cycle it blew 2 fuses, oven door locked & digital panel went blank. We were informed of a design flaw, can never cleaning cycle. Bad product!

  • This is a very well designed and constructed 24” wall oven. We think it is much nicer than other 24” ovens. There have no issues with it. We read a couple of negative reviews on it, but our experience has been all positive. This is a quality oven.

    Mjames15003/30/2024 05:27 AM

  • Over 9 months all electronics and the temp. sensor have been replaced. There is still NO temperature stability or RECOVERY if the door is opened : applies to basic bake and convention bake, broil and convention broil. One can not bake breads, etc. in this oven, nor test for doneness for any item as it cooks over time without losing heat without RECOVERY. One can NOT trust the oven's temperature and one must buy other add on oven thermostats - I have used two different types. One cannot use the oven using two shelves for two different items. KitchenAid intends to send a replacement oven with a new warranty but everything has already been replaced in this first one so how can I trust a replacement will be any better and that I won't have to start all over? This is a new model and my sense is that as a new purshacers I'm serving as their Research and Development. KitchenAid should have done the Research and Development of their new designs/products before putting them on the market. Westinghouse (owns KitchenAid) is owned by Brookfield Private Equity "fund"a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset MGT., a Canadian investment entity. Themodel is manufactured in Italy.

  • I am more than pleased with the performance of this oven. My previous oven was this same model and it was marvelous for many years. The reviews that I read before my purchase were mostly negative but it did not deter me. I opted out of the WI-FI feature…don’t need it and read it could prove problematic. There are many options and features and the unit is user friendly. Happy with my purchase.

    NormaKay07/15/2024 07:58 PM

  • Our oven is a little more than 3 years old. It burnt out when I used the Self Clean mode. Totally fried the switch that was supposed to protect the oven from burning out. I wouldn’t have bought this oven knowing how poorly constructed it is.

    Beck211/05/2025 05:21 AM

  • Oven stopped working after self clean. Can’t get a part number because door is locked no number on the back

    rrcoati11/29/2023 01:15 AM

  • i used the cleaning mode and it fried the mother board.

    Andrewfred07/23/2025 05:30 PM

  • We had our new 24" Smart Single Wall oven installed last month and the oven is so tiny I cannot fit normal sized cookie sheets or roasters in there. This replaced our old Whirlpool 24" oven which had more interior baking space. Very disappointed, we have no option to go bigger but never expected it to be smaller than an Easy Bake Oven. The oven does bake good, but how on earth is it smaller on the inside. NOT satisfied and now I am stuck with this overpriced tiny useless oven.

    ShouldOfGotABosch06/11/2025 09:44 PM

  • Purchased it 10-24-25. Was installed 11-16-25. Convection fan blade came off at the first use on 11-18-25. Less than one hour after the warranty repair on 11-24-25, the convection fan blade came off again. Fan was repaired a second time 12-8-25. Hopefully this repair will hold. Initial impression is the oven is a lemon. This oven is smaller than other 24” ovens. The cookie sheets we used in 2 prior ovens do not fit in this one. Warranty service is inconvenient with the nearest authorized repair firm being 100 away.

    Russ5912/11/2025 07:08 AM

  • I am dissapointed with the face most of our old pans do not fit this new 24" oven even thought we were replacing an existing 24" unit?

    Pat in Louisiana01/11/2024 04:07 AM

  • We bought it in April 2025. Although I had to reinstall it because the delivery/installation guys did a terrible job, the oven has worked very well for us. Our previous 24" wall oven was actually 24" interior size where newer 24" ovens are not. The smaller size has taken some time to get used to, but it has not hindered our usage. If the panel control buttons were backlit or illuminated somehow, then I would give the oven a 5 star rating.

    gr8bohunk01/13/2026 11:41 PM

  • I found this to fit perfectly in old wall oven space. It is smaller interior than my old oven, It is 2.9 cubic feet ,old oven was 3.1 cubic feet. I did purchase new trays that fit this oven. I do not plan on using self cleaning. The oven itself works great and is very sleek looking. I find the features to be helpful. It is a good oven and expect to have it for years.

    Marfen01/11/2026 09:43 PM

  • We needed a single wall oven to replace an existing built-in wall oven. We choose KitchenAid, since we know from prior experience that KitchenAid products are high quality and long lasting. We are very pleased by the many advanced and useful features on this KitchenAid Smart Wall Oven.

    Mike36911/23/2023 12:27 AM

  • Appears well-built with quality features. Large capacity, for a small wall oven, but holds a full-size chicken or a fair-sized turkey. Broiler seems to be a lackluster feature because it will not sustain cooking (broiling) a medium-sized steak. In fact, 450º, maybe 455º, is the highest temperature available. forget 500ºor 525º

    gmast03/07/2026 08:13 AM

  • I bought this item after another oven I purchased was received damaged and I couldn’t reorder it. I’m so happy this is the oven I received. So far so good! I love it! I love that it is the fingerprint resistant stainless steel and even thought I was hesitant about it I love all the features this oven has.

    Nuisjud04/26/2024 05:25 AM

  • I love my new oven! It works great and looks even better!

    Laben07/28/2023 04:16 PM

  • So far so good, but the sheet pans we used with the old Kitchenid 24” oven won’t fit in this one - had to buy new ones the next size smaller.
