30" Gas-on-glass Cooktop

• Have been using the new stovetop for a few days now and so far so good. My old stovetop was also a KitchenAid purchased 9 years ago and while it worked perfectly fine, this new one is a lot stronger. The BTU is higher and you can definitely tell. Preheating is quicker and things boil much faster. The stovetop also looks really nice with the glass top and the knobs look fancier than my old one. The closer burner to the right of the cooktop is a tad bit too strong. When you ignite and the initial flame comes on and you leave the knob at “high”, the flame could potentially reach your hand if you’re not careful. So far it has not burned me since i am aware , but that could be dangerous to you. I am not sure how to adjust the output of the burner. Maybe there is a way to adjust the output, you would need to consult the manual or call kitchenaid on this. I did encounter a problem during installation though. The new gas hose was bigger than our previous one and they would not do the installation for us. I had to get someone else to come and install the stovetop for us, which is additional cost. So caution for those replacing older stove tops, you might need to go get a connector so that the new hose will fit.

• Attached photos shows to fit fifth pot is almost impossible. We talked to two Technicians One Installer (Pro Referral by Home depot)) and One service Technician (sent by KitchenAid). Both agreed That it is really a poor design. We demonstrated with smaller pot also. Basically not functional for 5 Burners, Also Grills Are so High. It takes little more time cook. Beware before Buying!

• I love my new cooktop! Since I received this product from Influenster, I am able to redo my kitchen in the coming months with an upgraded gas cooktop! I’ve included a photo of the cooktop as it was packaged, without placing the grates on it. I love how durable it is, sturdy buttons that feel nice and not cheap, and sleek in overall design. The top is super easy to clean since it’s glass, I don’t need to get special cleaners or anything to use it. For an oven, I have an in wall unit so this cooktop replaces a stovetop for me. It would be really nice to install this appliance in a kitchen island, I just don’t have the space for one in my home. So far, I am completely impressed and pleased with my new cooktop!!

• The kitchen aid gas on gas cooktop is a fantastic appliance. It came very well packaged. I wasn’t ready the day of delivery to install it so I had them drop it off and I installed it when I was ready. The package contained everything I needed to properly install the cooktop. It is beautiful and works perfectly. The measurement were spot on and it fit exactly as described. It has a high end appearance. The gas stove burner seems to be well distributed and gives an even, intense flame. I highly recommend this cooktop.

• This cooktop is fantastic! The installation was smooth and easy. Installers were in and out in 20 minutes. Great durability and easy to clean. Cleaning it once a week is enough to have it look brand new. Love the big burner in the middle for larger pots when cooking pasta or soup. Grates are durable and rust resistant. Electronic ignition so it’s safe and worry free from carbon monoxide releasing. Low setting is nice and quiet so don’t have to worry about waking up the rest of the house. Thanks Influenster!

• No words for it! It’s beautiful!!! I was so excited receiving this gas stove since we were considering remodel our kitchen. We were offered the installation service but our kitchen wasn’t ready by the time it was here so my husband installed it himself but it was fast and easy. It fits our kitchen perfectly and makes it look luxurious. It’s very easy to clean because of the glass surface but I cook a lot so there’s still streaks after cleaning. I love the fact that the counter edge is covered so no more stuffs get stuck between the counter and the stove. Another thing I don’t miss about my old stove is the knobs turns easily and it ignites the stove with just a light touch of me while cleaning. So this kitchen aid gas on glass knobs are an A+ for me. Thank you for the opportunity!

• I upgraded my Whirlpool black porcelain cooktop with the KichenAid Gas on Glass Black cooktop. However, the cast iron grates received were Gray and not Black. Thus far, I have had to make 5 calls (been on hold over 3 hrs total) in past month to Cust Service and Trade Care Team and still waiting for resolution. I am now told I have to wait until the end of the year until the manufacturer error is resolved, due to back orders and hope that I can get the right ones at some point. I paid $1,299 for a new cooktop and have received the run around because their error. This is not the KitchenAid experience I expected.

• I did a kitchen refresh, changing my outdated 18 year bisque appliances to stainless steel. While I only saw a picture of the 30” cooktop I chose, I didn’t realize how bulky and oversized the grates are. The knobs sit too close in front of the grates which I’ve burned myself on a couple of times adjusting or turning off the burner. Very poor design! Lastly, the glass top is so hard to keep clean and streak free. I used to like to cook a lot, but now I avoid it as much as possible. Very, very hard keep it clean. Clean up used to be a breeze, not anymore. Wish I could have stayed with my old cooktop. I’m very disappointed! No more buying sight unseen, that’s on me.

• I love the burner configuration with the simmer burner in the back & how reactive the flame is to adjustment. The burner markings are also very clear. Having the grates integrated into the burner ring offers easy placement & stability. The cooktop is not very easy to clean. Once you remove all of the grease or food residue the top is really streaked. I now am using a special cloth that I bought for my shower doors with a spray of water to get all of the streaks off the glass. Therefore the 4 star rating.

• This is amazing! The quality of this cook top is top notch! Cast iron gas deverter caps and heavy duty cast iron grates. Ceramic top not metal. Easier to clean and will have a longer lasting clean finish with a metal trim to protect the ceramic edge. The knobs are made of a heavy duty metal not plastic . Also has rubber grommets on underside of grate for easier cleaning. This is high quality and we love cooking with gas. This is super easy to clean.

• I just installed this and I am obsessed. It was easy to set up and didn’t require much effort. I feel like this is going to be an easy surface to clean for a gas cooktop (you know these can be difficult and it’s their downfall). The glass is luxurious and beautiful. I’ll come back and upload more pictures after I use it a few times. OBSESSED!!!

• I've been doing some home renovations so when I got the chance to get this a beautiful stove top I jumped on it! I'm so excited to get this installed! It's glass so it's a bit fragile but clean up is going to be a breeze and I just love a gas stove. If you're in the market for a gas cooktop definitely consider giving this one a try.

• Omg I love this cooktop, it is so stylish!!! Not only does it look sleek and modern with its black glass surface and sturdy cast-iron grates, but it’s also functional. Here is some of the features that I absolutely love about it: precise Flame Control, when the knobs let me easily adjust the flame intensity, giving me perfect control for everything from a quick boil to a gentle simmer and it’s so fast at boiling water compared to my old electric cooktop. I like glass surface, because it easy to wipe down after cooking. To celebrate this upgrade, first what I cooked was one of my favorite Ukrainian dishes—borscht and it was so much joy to cook it on gas. Borscht was amazing. Now I started cooking more often 😅

• This cooktop has such a sleek beautiful look. It heats up quickly, just like any other gas cooktop. I think my favorite part is how easy it is to clean! I have a 6 and 8 year old around, so safety is very important to us.

• I received this KitchenAid cooktop complimentary in exchange for an honest review. Overall, it’s a great cooktop. I especially like the design and arrangement of the burners. It makes it so much easier to have the bigger burners in the front, for an easy access to anything you need to keep stirring or keep a close eye on, unlike our previous cooktop that had the bigger burners in the back and we had to reach over. Even though the cooktop is the same size as our old one and has an additional burner in the middle, somehow it can fit more pots and pans on it at the same time. It seems like the burners are closer to the edges so we’re able to have multiple pots and pans on without them touching each other. I like the griddle being taller as well, I feel like it gives a bit more separation between the burners and the knobs in the front. Last but not least, the cooktop with the black glass has a sleek look to it. When it gets dirty from cooking, it’s as visible as on any other surface (we had a stainless steel one before). It’s been fairly easy to clean, the only difference I wipe it with a glass cleaning cloth after cleaning to make it streak free. The guys who delivered and installed it did a great job.

• I absolutely love this gas on glass cooktop! It’s super sleek and very aesthetically pleasing. The glass surface is stunning and has a really high-end look to it. The grates are heavy duty and constructed well. It’s rather easy to clean, but like any glass cook surface it can be a little tricky — regardless, it’s totally worth it to have such a great looking cooktop! In my opinion, this is much better than a stainless steel or ceramic top. It functions well and looks amazing. It definitely exceeds the expectations I had for it! Highly recommended!

• This 30” Gas-on-Glass Cooktop by Kitchenaid has really impressed me. Delivery was quick and the the delivery men were so helpful. Product came packaged nicely and everything was in tact. We ended up installing this on our outdoor patio kitchen (will update post with new pictures soon). It was easier than expected to install and we have used it a few times with no issues. Gas hookup pieces came with it as well and I believe this helps save energy with it being gas. Normal safety features included to help keep you and your neighbors safe.

• This cook top is very nice! I love that the big/hot burner is in the center. We got this for our summer kitchen to do our canning. My big pressure cooker fits nicely on the center burner with room for other pots on the other burners. The glass top seems to be easy to clean and the grates are standard grates. Installation was quick and easy. If I had one criticism, it would be the knobs to turn on the burners. They may be difficult to use for someone with dexterity or hand grip issues. Over all though, very nice cook top!
