After only using one time the dial broke for the triple heating element. I have not been able to figure out who or how to contact the warranty area to get a replacement. The overall heating seems very slow compared to my previous range. Cleaning the ceramic top is not all that easy either but hopefully in time I will get used to it.

Blue mylar put on the top in the bottom of the unit is horribly hard to remove. I have owned the product now for almost a month haven't hardly been able to use it due to the fact that there's some type of a short that shuts out the control panel. Effort to find a part to be able to fix it has not been easy or successful. I have spent a total of several hours trying to communicate with either whirlpool and or KitchenAid with regards to fixing the product. Trying to reach people and or get a line within an hour has been normal. Today's status still haven't found the part to fix the product.

I am very happy with this stove. Love the front controls with the panel facing up. Glass top is nice, easier to keep clean. Always had electric but still getting use to adjusting knobs. A lot of burner size and variation too. I like the knobs on the front but did accidentally turn one on by brushing against it. Has a panel lock but only for oven, not the burners. Oven works great. Variety of options. Would have liked a bigger bottom drawer. It's a smart appliance. Probably wouldn't have set that part up but you need it to set the clock. Kind of nice being able to use my phone to control the oven anyway.

Somewhat disappointed with this range. The first one purchased needed to be replaced in less than two weeks due to oven not turning on ( touch screen dead) while 2-3 of the burners were in use. There really is no convection bake feature and convection roast. One of the smaller burners on the new replacement range takes an exorbitant amount of time to boil water a small pan of water. The online manual that the customer needs to download rather than being provided with a hard copy, does not correspond to this model of range. Very frustrating. Your customer service phone number is a 2- 3 hour wait/ call back time. Your Register Your Appliance/Range online process has NOT allowed me to register my new replacement range. The model number for the range is not in the drop down. I do like the 5 burners on the cook top and their size options. Other than one of the smaller ones not heating to capacity, the other 3 work well. This range should come with 3 oven racks instead of 2, and the quality of the racks should be better. Not including the air fry basket and charging extra for it is an unnecessary expense for the consumer. It most certainly should be included as well as a hard copy users manual or at the very least, the availability of one that corresponds to this model.

not completely happy with the range. There was no instruction book with the range! Should not have to purchase said book!! I'm not sure the oven heat is even. Have not baked enough in it to be sure. It seems there are hot spots. The sounds of the temp. reached and the timer are too low...even with hearing aides!

Please do not purchase this unit. The knobs had to be replaced after less than one month and the cusotmer service is horrific. Associates hanging up on customers and then you are forced to call back and just wait. Do not get involved with KitchenAid. Cheap product and even cheaper customer service!

The first range I bought must have been a lemon. Under warranty the first thing that had to be replaced was the Mother Board then it was downhill from there. I bought an extended warranty and I’m happy I did because this range had to have several repairs. The range would trip the breaker if I used the cook top and the oven or broiler at the same time & was found that it was pulling over 50 amps. After a fight with the extended warranty company and an independent repairman I had to hire & pay to give me their opinion on the range - they finally agreed with me that the range was unsafe and agreed to replace it with a new range. Other than that the convection feature never worked and the oven was slow to preheat. The individual surfaces seemed to get overly hot and never had a low /simmer setting even though it was set on simmer. The surface is hard to clean & the knobs have really cheap stickers on them. I am hoping my new replacement range - that has yet to arrive - will work much better.

I purchased this brand new about three months ago, and the knob has broken twice. Also, one of the burners does not work at full capacity. This is unacceptable and disappointing. Both Kitchen Aid appliances I purchased - this range and a microwave - have not operated as they should.

My oven broke during Thanksgiving and it ruined our holiday. Called for warranty and they scheduled an appointment and never came out and now won’t return my calls.

Our intial range initially had a control board failure less that 2 weeks after install, the retailer replaced it with a new unit which has now also failed with a control board failure after 4 months, and since it takes 21 business days to get the back order replacement part we are without a range for close to a month.

You cannot keep the top clean. It shows all the streaks and they will not come off no matter if you use window cleaner like suggested. We purchased the trim kit to go with it and it does not fit the stove what so ever. Paid WAY too much for it.

The newer model of the Kichenaid range is superior to my previous range. Oven is quicker to heat and has more features than my previous range. For some reason the glass top is not as easy to clean as my previous Kichenaid stove.

Plastic inserts that attach the knobs are plastic and break. Very poor design. Have to use players to turn off the range.
