• This cooktop was installed in January 2022 as part of a kitchen remodel. In December 2022 we noticed that one of the round removable grate insert was cracked, and rust was forming at the crack. Since this part is only on the 20,000 btu burner, I suspect it is a heat issue. My husband called KitchenAid customer service, and waited on hold for over an hour, without ever reaching an agent. I’m hoping someone will see this and respond, since y’all don’t answer the phone. For the amount we paid for this cooktop, the grates should last forever.

• We bought the 6burner gas cooktop. Within a month of use we couldnt remove residues from cooking. The paint started to fade. Obviously the paint is defective and we cant get kitchen aid to dtand behind their product. They say it’s cosmetic

• KitchenAid once again demonstrates a quality product. The burners work flawlessly from simmer to high as our needs dictate. The griddle provides even heat for pancakes and eggs. We’re very happy with our new cooktop!

• We just used our for the first time and the stainless steel between the burners and the griddle discolored. After just 15 minutes of boiling water. I called Whirlpool and they basically told me to go pound sand. They said it was normal discoloration from the heat. I ask if they would send a tech out to look at it and they said I would have to pay for that. I am very disappointed and will never but another Kitchenaid product.

• We had just moved into a older home and where needing to replace the older 48" stove top since it did not work properly so we went with this rangetop we are still in the process of getting new counter-tops so we have it sitting in the cabinet till we can install it. Even though the countertops are not done yet all the guest attention go straight to the rangetop and disregard the current remodel mess. it is built very well I was pleased with the rigidity of it.

• Bought about 2 months ago; everything works well. Only complaint is regarding the griddle. I was really excited about the griddle but there are two minor issues. First, it doesn't heat evenly, hotter in the middle than the back/front. Also, there is a seam where the "walls" meet the cooking surface. The seam catches food and makes clean up a bit more of a pain. Otherwise, the burners are great, looks good (just huge).

• I bought this with my new construction home. It works great and the griddle feature is fantastic. The only issue I have is that the knobs can easily be bumped and turned on, especially when having a party/event. I have learned that during such events to remove the knobs to avoid accidently turning the burners on.

• So decided to do a full kitchen renovation. After lots of research I wanted matching appliances. Kitchenaid is made in USA, had local repair co., like the reviews, so here is my $0.02. 1. knobs easliy turn in by bumping into them 2. The simmer burners are perfect 3. The grill is anything but even heat 4. having 6 burners is amazing 5. The trays around the burners are not removable to clean is a bummer. Overall I would buy again but no include grill. We honestly use grill as a tortilla warmer is all.

• It cooks nice, it looks even nicer. Only "but" I will add is that the grates are a little too heavy and a little too far away from the flame, but we are still very happy with it.

• Very dangerous product. If you bump the front facing knobs as you walk past, the gas will turn on. Especially dangerous if you have young or old residents that might not notice until gas has filled the house. We had this model installed in our new construction home. We moved into the home six months ago. We have accidentally turned on the gas at least a dozen times. One time it went unnoticed for ten to fifteen minutes

• I bought this 1 month ago and am glade that I did. The performance is very good, and my spouse is happy. However the black coating on the black top is pealing off for some reason. We have arrange a schedule visit form the supplier and they should address it soon. Overall satisfactory.
