  • I hate this stove. I did not see it b/4ordered.was ordered off computer in store. Came in a box. Did not see it till delivered .does not have the nice finish on it. Does not match frig or d w. This is old . Probably sitting in some warehouse just waiting for someone stupid like me to come along.Ya know. Fingerprints and all. And the lady in the store knew it and said nothing. Store would not do anything and . And whirlpool would do nothing. 3 people have told me they would send a cleaning kit. STILL WAITING….as for customer service. I would have to discrib what that is to anyone i spoke to. Which was 1 person BECAUSE NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE….so i have nothing good to ay about whirlpool. And i advise everyone to be very careful.

  • Ordered in early November.. After a number of cancellations finally received in January,..had a broken leg... replacement came mid March ; had insulation and wires sticking out of a whole in the oven and temperature was off by 25 degrees....replace came in May. Temp still off. Would have spent twice as much for a 24” electric range with all the bells and whistles. I live in an area where thousands of apartments /condos are being built using 24” appliances and builders are finding the unavailability of quality 24” appliances. Most have gone with beautiful European brands that are not holding up. My expensive Euro range would NOT bake, and my fridge lasted 2 years ( unrepairable).

  • Upon delivery, the installers properly released and adjusted the front leveling legs on this range. They set the unit down gingerly. As soon as the full weight of the unit was on the legs, both legs immediately stripped out their holes drilled through the bottom of the frame. The warranty technician they sent out showed me the bottom of the frame where the leveling legs' holes are drilled. There is no reinforcement; the holes are drilled through the very thin sheet metal. It's no surprise they stripped out! The warranty technician said Whirlpool considers this repairable... by disassembling the entire range, swapping in a new frame, and then reassembling all of the components inside and around the new frame. He said the odds were quite low that all of this could happen without introducing future problems to the unit. So, I either roll the dice with the tear-down and rebuild repair, or I stick with the wood shims I'm using to keep the range level. Based on the lack of reinforcement on the bottom of the frame (probably saves Whirlpool $5), combined with Whirlpool's insistence that swapping out the frame is a reasonable action, I would NOT buy again.

  • I bought this range almost 4 months ago thinking I was finally treating myself to a great appliance. I paid more than double what I have ever paid for a range in 55 years and am so disappointed with this purchase. Although it looks great, here are a couple of issues I have with my new range - 1) there is a wire hanging down in the oven that interferes with my casserole dishes and roast pans. I am afraid I am going to do damage to the wiring in the oven one day and 2) when something spills over and burns, smoke comes pouring out of the sides of the back panel. This is something I have never experienced before with any range I have owned!! I also initially had an issue with the temperature, but I just up it a few degrees. I would not recommend this range to anyone

  • Nice range. It seems to be better designed and manufactured than the old GE range it replaced. Problems: (1) User instructions are available only in English and French, not Spanish. That's a problem since the tenants in the apartment with the range are native Spanish speakers. Surely Whirlpool could publish the user instructions in Spanish, the second most common language in USA. (2) One of the four screw-out leveling feet would not work. Fortunately, the range was level with all four feet screwed all the way in. I just had to cut a thick plywood board to place under the range to raise the cooktop to the level of the counter.

  • I bought this item 4 month ago as a solution for the renovation of a small kitchen in my home. The oven temperature is 'off' and does not heat up to the setting. Additionally, the leveling feet on the front of the unit are poorly designed and do not work. For such a compact stove, at such a steep price ($1200) you would think the product would be of a higher quality. I've always owned WP appliances and have somewhat been peased until now.

  • We are having problems with the oven part of the stove, Sometimes when we turn It on it doesn’t start!! It’s like there is a short in the on off switch! I have to try it a couple times to get it to work! I would t recommend it at This time!

    Traci6307/16/2020 11:07 AM

  • The cooktop is really nice but the oven does not heat properly. I would think for 1400.00 whirlpool could have at least put a chime to indicate when the oven had reached the preheat temperature. The oven does not heat to the correct temperature. A cake that normally will Cook in 30 min will take 40 and the top of the cake or whatever will not brown at all. If you try to put one thing on the bottom rack and another on the top rack the one on the bottom will burn even if the items are staggered.

  • cook most food on #3 or less. Hope glass top will clean clear if scorched haven’t used oven yet Drawer noisy when opening/closing

    3Carol304/16/2020 01:04 AM

  • Recently purchased a stove. Oven and broiler didn’t work. The store got me a new one within a few days. The replacement has an issue with the stovetop indicator light. I have to wait another 2 weeks for the part

    Betty11/05/2021 03:59 AM

  • Taking time to get used to front placed knobs jammed across front of stove. Bottom drawer smaller than previous stove. Oven and burners work fine.

    Sally10/29/2022 03:42 AM

  • I bought this stove on the 18th of May....I love the fact it works wonderfully well..oven heats and cook time is cut in half

    Deb5644805/29/2020 12:58 PM

  • Intuitive controls and beautiful cooktop. Extends the countertop workspace when it is turned off. Heats very quickly.

    KristianK50508/25/2019 01:36 PM

  • This range does everything we need it to do. It heats quickly and is easy to clean. It even looks great!

    FredrB03/15/2019 03:28 AM

  • Botton drawer slanted to right Oven light did not work

    Mary02/09/2022 04:30 AM

  • Less than 2 weeks after buying this stove, a glass bowl fell out of the cupboard over the stove & cracked the stove top. I had no idea this would happen. Also, the pots seem to easily move off the burner while cooking. It's hard to know what number to turn the burner on. Liquids will boil at as very low number. Other than that, it's a good looking stove.

    Reva72703/24/2023 05:42 PM

  • Bought this new glass top to match our new Whirlpool refrigerator. Very trendy with the glass and stainless steel .....bakes even too. My stove didnt come with a cleaning kit but it should. Its a must to keep your glass top clean. Doesn't come with a broiler pan anymore...so if you need one be sure and say something to your salesman.

    Cactuskaye02/11/2019 06:55 AM

  • We’ve only been in our new place for a couple of weeks, so we haven’t used it a lot. So far the oven and smooth top are working fine. The one drawback is the drawer. It should have a little smoother operating mechanism.

    Rockholt Mick02/15/2019 02:33 PM

  • I bought this about a month ago and it's working ok, so far, but the oven doesn't seem to heat up to the temperature it's set for? Seems off by 25 degrees or so. Also, the specs on the width of the unit were fine at the top but the bottom was about 1/8-1/4 inch wider which caused some fitting issues, so I had to make some adjustments to the existing cabinet. The storage drawer is very flimsy, too. Overall, it's ok for what I need, considering there aren't a lot of options in this size.

    Beth6607/08/2025 04:21 AM

  • I've only had it for about a month and I love it. It fit perfectly in the small space and looks nice too. I don't cook a lot but everything seems to work fine.

    Doublem11/15/2018 05:21 AM

  • Oven is NOT working. It consistently smokes and it was my first attempt to use it. Parts on back order and hence, this is a useless to me.

    Jayme07/08/2025 02:06 AM

  • I don't really have brought an appliance for years...very happy with the process to clean the oven with STREAM.... it's GREAT!!

    Cofident03/20/2023 01:53 AM

  • This is the perfect range for a smaller lake house.

    Nancy08/07/2023 12:40 AM

  • Like stove even though it has no updated features.
