• I purchased this from Home Depot 1 year ago. The manufacturer’s warranty is about to expire Monday. My freezer looks like the top of a snow capped mountain, while my fridge feels like a desert. I left a review on Home Depot, and Whirlpool told me to find them on social media, which I don’t use. I spent more than a week trying to contact the company that has my extended warranty because I didn’t realize my warranty begins upon delivery and not purchase. So I was sent back to Whirlpool whose hours are Monday through Friday 8a - 6 pm. Of course when I’m not available to reach them since I need to be with the item when I call. I bought two weeks worth of groceries, made dinner for the week and now everything is spoiled. Do you have any idea how I’ve been eating?

• Very disappointed in Whirlpool. Gave it a 1 because it does fit in my small kitchen. However little less works. The shelves are absolutely worthless. The placement of the shelves is awful. Ended up putting in a wire one in. There is also a half shelve...very strange and also worthless. When you shut the frig door the freezer door opens and visa versa! Don't know why I write this because Whirlpool won't read it. Put more money into a better one. Wish I had.

• My x fridge that I purchased from Loews.. is not working correctly. Too freezer is not freezing everything has melted. The bottom part threw out all veggies, ant dairy! I don’t have receipt, warranty expires after one year. Loews isn’t helping.

• There was no option when I purchased the refrigerator on line to choose which way the door opened. The directions to make the reversal was not in the “summary manual” that came with the unit. I had to look up on line which was cumbersome even though I had the model # , etc. Reversing the doors took about 3 hours total. Supposedly, an easy fix. However, one type screw required special tool when it was stuck so tight it wouldn’t budge without stripping. All the fasteners must be re-used when reversing the doors. This was a 24” wide unit which is considered “special” and costs twice the size of a normal basic refrigerator.

• I would not ever buy nor recommend this refrigerator again. At 11 months the freezer started to freeze over, water dripped into the refrigerator and then the refrigerator stopped staying cold. That was u see warranty. Two months later the same thing happened. 4 months later it’s happening again. I’ve never had a refrigerator do this in the past. It’s a bad product and the warranty only lasts for a year. Whirlpool doesn’t help after that. Luckily we got a service plan but with each problem we’ve had to throw out about $50 of food.

• I bought this before Christmas and had to wait until Feb to arrive. It doesn't keep food cold or frozen items frozen. I spent over $500 to end up dissapointed on a brand I thought would be great. I had to put freezer to maximize temperature and ice cream is still a bit soft and same for the regular part it doesn't not keep food cold enough even though I also put on coldest temperature. I'm very dissapointed with this refrigerator but don't want to the whole hassle of taking it back and waiting months for another which is very dissapointing. I used to have a chef mate that worked great compared to this whirlpool and the old one was smaller and cheaper. Very very dissapointed....

• I've had this for model for 5 days and two of the days the freezer and refrigerator have been set to max and frozen food thaws in the freezer and items in the refrigerator are room temp. The temperature in my house is 65 degrees, I don't have that much food in the refrigerator/freezer and I don't open the door more than a couple times a day. All of the components like the compressor and defrost seem to be running as would be expected it just doesn't do the job. Terrible quality, I am livid about this purchase and it seems others are having the same problem. I would not buy this model and would definitely avoid this brand altogether.

• After waiting For months to finally get the fridge after unpacked my and plugging it in the freezer to this day still has condensation in the front of the freezer and frozen in the back in the fridge section it promptly froze every can of pop and beer making some of the cans to leak making a hell of a mess now after defrosting the freezer and clearing out vents etc from all the ice the refrigerator section is working fine but the freezer still has the same issues want to replace the fridge but not willing to wait months for another one don’t really need the freezer right now so we’re still fiddling with the freezer to see if we can get it running properly

• This is the hugest waste of money. The dimensions are false and it is short, about 61 inches. The construction is so poor that you will have to defrost it to keep it running well. It freezes up and your fridge will be hot and your freezer will over freeze. Believe the reviews and purchase a better refrigerator at your local appliance store. They will gaslight you about repairing it, it can’t be. Your extended warranty is a joke. They send you defrost directions instead of acknowledging this is junk and you got took. I paid 600 for a pile of trash. Wasted and spoiled food because mine is in my garage and we don’t open it everyday. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE

• I really thought I was the problem, that maybe it wasnt sitting level, or maybe I needed to clean the door gasket. NOOOOO.... this refrigerator drains a TON of water down the back which ends up underneath the produce drawer, then when you open the produce drawer, all the water "waterfalls" out the bottom, onto the kitchen floor. I sepnt a lot of $ on all brand new SS Whirlpool kitchen appliances, and the stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator HAVE ALL BEEN A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT. I thought Whirlpool was a reputable brand, but I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!

• The positive aspects are that it's very quiet and the bronze color is attractive. Unfortunately, there's nothing else I like about this refrigerator. It's very difficult to control the temperature. A knowledgeable technician came out and told me that this refrigerator simply will not work if the ambient temperature is below 65 degrees. The freezer varied from 0 to 20 degrees. There is no humidity control. In summer, everything inside the refrigerator is wet with condensation. The shelves are very cheaply made, especially the top shelf. The shelves are not on rollers or sliders, just plastic extensions from the wall. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

• This Unit has already been replaced once during warranty time due to not being able to be repaired after 7 months of purchase.............Whirlpool did replace the unit, now the second one is not working...........fridge will not cool and freezer does not freeze, just cool enough to keep some veggies in :( I have lost 6 days work in total so far within 11 months and problem still not resolved :( Can someone PLEASE help me getting this fixed properly. My space is limited to 24" so not too many choices in units. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

• I agree with all of the unsatisfactory comments above. I also bought this refrigerator and it broke down just over a year after buying it new. It was repaired (needed new compressor) and has since broke down again. I also bought the optional icemaker and it seldom worked. These refrigerators have some serious reliability issues and I would not recommend to anyone. I have contacted Whirlpool about the issue and the only offer I received was a 20% discount off of a new one. I do not feel I should have to pay anything. I have invested over $600 for the unit and icemaker and its seldom worked. Very disappointed in the product and the unwillingness of Whirlpool to stand with the customer.

• Refrigerator is nice and mechanically works well. After 3 months I found the tuck shelf glass shelf had shattered. I did not abuse it, just put beer bottles on it laying down.I emailed Whirlpool and they are sending a new shelf. It is of poor design that is because they offer gallon containers for storage in the door. Because of this they designed a glass tuck shelf that slides away when you use gallon containers in the door. The shelf is not supported on all sides so it was bound to flex and shatter when there is weight on it. They would have done better with a plexiglass shelf for here instead of glass. I opted for a smaller refrigerator since it is a secondary fridge used for beer, pop, and extra food. It is in the basement and sees limited use. The depth of the refrigerator is too short. My wire rack that I used to dispense canned pop would not fit since the interior of the fridge is too small. This is also a disadvantage with this unit and makes me not too happy with it. I hope Whirlpool comes through with the new shelf, it hass been ordered and slated to be shipped to me. I ordered this Refrigerator online from Lowe’s and it took 6 weeks to get. I do like the stainless finish.

• It's the second time that the appliance broke. It was replaced under the warranty and the new one broke again in a month. Now the "broken parts" are backordered. God Knows when they will received the 3 new parts. I explained to the assistant my concern because it's the SECOND time that the appliance broken and he just wished me luck. I can't wait for so long again. I need the appliance because of my job. I asked them to have my money back or to be replaced for another model and pay the difference. According the representatives my claims was respectfully decline. Never buy from this company again.

• We got this fridge for a cabin because we liked the size. However, the door gasket does not seal against the frame - there is a 1/4 to 3/8" gap all the way around the bottom third of the door, both the hinge side and the other side., and across the bottom. The fridge runs all the time, keeps things only mildly cool and gets loads of condensation which then drips out on the floor and leaves puddles. The fridge may be fine but we don't know cuz the gasket is a piece of junk. Unfortunately, it is out on an island in Rainy Lake and not very easy to return.

• We bought the refrigerator about two months ago. It never cooled like I thought it should from the very beginning. After about 6 weeks, it quit cooling completely. I contacted Whilpool via phone, was put on hold for an hour, finally got a person who could schedule a repair. She said it might be a few days before she could get me scheduled. That was nearly three weeks ago and I've heard nothing since. Currently, the refrigerator is not working. I will contact a local appliance dealer to make repairs or replace, pay for it out of my own pocket.....and NEVER purchase another Whirlpool appliance or associated product ever again.

• Absolutely the worst product and service. I bought two of these fridges for an office, it hasn't been even 5 months and both of them stopped working. one of them has been hardly used. I've scheduled service 3 times. the first time the technician didn't have equipment to fix it, second time, the technician just showed up plugged in the fridge and left and 3rd time he said he doesn't know know how to fix it. I called whirlpool back but they hasn't scheduled a service for its been 3weeks. My client has bought new fridges. Waste of money and time

• This refrigerator did not work upon getting it home. Service call put in... Was advised it should be covered by warranty. Great. Service man came and said it needed a part. 2 weeks later, I cannot get ahold of him and I have not heard anything. Whirlpool customer service has no information and their continued advice is to wait and try to reach repair person. Finally get ahold of the repair guy, who ended up getting Covid and being out for 3 weeks, says he's catching up but hadn't gotten the part. Now almost 3 months after buying this refrigerator from Lowes.... It still is not running.

• We bought this fridge a few months ago, we have a very small one bedroom bungalow so have no room to accommodate a normal size fridge. It fits perfectly in the little corner and it is more spacious than I expected. It’s relatively quiet compared to our old fridge and I love the infinity shelf that you can push in and out to accommodate larger items. Also the cold/deli shelf on top is fantastic for storing fridge items that need to be colder but not frozen. I also love the big fruit/veggie bin! I’m so happy it’s not divided in to two as it makes it more spacious and can fit bigger fruits and veggies even compared to my old fridge that was bigger and had two bins.

• I ordered this refrigerator on July 1st and it was delivered on Sept. 4th from Lowes. The delay in delivery was due the covid-19 pandemic. So far it has been working well and we are pleased with all the features.

• Well, the fridge looks nice. Runs well. Keeps everything cold. Top and bottom. BUT......I had to spend 2.5 hours removing with a small sharp blade all the plastic that covers the new fridge from underneath the aluminum center piece. The handles etc. They put the plastic protectant under all the parts of the fridge. Ridiculous. It wouldnt all peel off. Also, the rubber sealant around the inside of the fridge squeeks like crazy when you close the fridge door slowly. Sounds like its 10 years old. Other than that, great fridge.

• I needed the following: 24” wide, fingerprint résistent, reversible doors, at least 60” tall, flat front-no protruding handles and I insisted on a quality brand. There are about one -two? refrigerators that met my needs. It is not only good looking but it also was at a very attractive price. (My other refrigerator is a Liebher at about 6xmthe price).

• Our main fridge in the kitchen went out and we were living out of 2 college fridges for about 5 days. We contacted our local appliance store and asked what they had available in about the 10 cubic foot size and they recommended this whirlpool. We replaced our college fridges with this larger sized in the basement until we could get a new one for our kitchen. It was a nice surprise at how much space and the layout of this fridge and how easy it made the next week for us much easier. Very affordable and good sized fridge.
