This unit was installed in November and started leaking rendering it inoperable. I am having trouble getting it fixed under warranty. Right now it is a $900 piece or garbage. I will continue trying to get it replaced. It has caused black mold and also damaged my hardwood floors. Whirlpool please help!!!!

Waiting a minimum of 2 weeks for parts and repair service. Unable to wash dishes. Broke shy of 2 weeks from installation. Extremely disappointed.

My family and I have been using this for a little over a week now and it is super quiet and easy to operate. We have 3 Major Whirlpool appliances now in our Kitchen. Installed by a professional plumber from Big Box store purchase it was up and running quick. Our last one from a different brand lasted 10 years before we did one, then two repairs and then it started leaking and damaged the wood in the build in area it was housed, so time to go for that one! Hopefully this WHirlpool Model, with only two living at home now will last much longer!

My dishwasher was installed less than a month ago and I absolutely love it. It is very quiet and the dishes come out clean, sparkling and dry unlike my old dishwasher. Maybe it’s the cascade samples they included. I am 100% satisfied with the quality, effectiveness, and price.

I purchased my dishwasher on 9-9-24, however I didn't receive it until 12-7-24 due to backorder. I completely understand sometimes there is a high demand of product. The dishwasher is sleek in contemporary design and functions great. My only issue is when you open it all the way to the bottom to pull the rack out to load it make a sound. It's like the rubber seal is expanding against my cabinet. But, overall I'm very pleased with my selection of Whirlpool Dishwasher.

Worst dishwasher ever!! I didn’t even know a dishwasher could be a bad purchase till this one!! First off, you have to use rinse aid to dry, or the dishes will be soaking wet! Once you spend money on rinse aid the dishes are dry, BUT the whole interior of the dishwasher is still wet with condensation. Let’s talk about run time! The quick one hour time is actually 1:32 with heat dry. A regular cycle is 3:12. Etc. You would think with advanced technology the cycles would get shorter and not longer. Wish I would have never purchased this!!!!

I bought this one month ago. It was on clearance at a local big box hardware store. The inside capacity seems small...I can't fit as many dishes in it as my old dishwasher. It also sits VERY low to the floor. The door almost rests on the floor when it is open. The top shelf is "designed" to hold large pots, (dumb feature, IMO) so it also sits low which I find uncomfortable when loading...almost having to bend down to load. This is what happens when your dishwasher goes out suddenly and you have limited funds. I didn't take the time to do research, but trusted the Whirlpool name. It cleans dishes fine, the design is just poor. I will just have to get used to, unfortunately.

I bought this dishwasher a month ago and I can honestly say that I love it. It's quiet and I love the digital count down that let's me know when the dishes are done. I went with a stainless tub for rigidity and the racks are one of the more ergonomic designs I've seen. I can really stack dishes in it and even the dirtiest dishes come out spotless.

I have the stainless steel version of this one & over all its been great. I just use air dry & never have had overly wet dishes or inside the washer. One thing that is an absolute must in achieving this is using a rinse aid. Anyway I run un-rinsed dishes & the always come out beautiful. These new machines do take a lot longer to complete a load because of using less water, but it always has given me excellent results in the end. This machine is also much quieter then I've ever had in the past...which is nice. Very happy with this machine...but Whirlpool has always treated me right, so it comes as no surprise to me.

I bought this dishwasher a month ago and am so disappointed. I wish I could return it but, of course, that's not possible. I have been using dishwashers for 45 years and this is the worst one I've owned. I'm finding it very difficult to load, especially the top rack. Nothing seems to fit property. And unless I use the "normal" setting, everything is wet at the end of the cycle. The bar that spins around is always full of water and it spills on everything in the bottom rack. I live alone and the "Quick Wash" is all I need to use. Then I had to pay an additional $50 just to get something that holds wine glasses in place. I'm not happy.

I purchased this just before Thanksgiving got it installed the day before Thanksgiving and this is the loudest by far dishwasher I’ve ever owned you can hear it no matter what part of the house you’re in it does not come with an access panel control cover that is suitable for the dishwasher it’s a piece of junk that doesn’t come all the way down to the floor so it’s going to collect trash and other debris underneath the dishwasher because of the improper Access panel cover no insulation just a little piece of plastic its overall a piece of garbage

Bought 14 months ago approximately, control board, not sure which one has failed. No longer under warranty and costs almost as much as paid for the entire machine to repair. Would not recommend Whirlpool as the quality has plummeted so much as compared to past models. Would not ever buy again.

I just had this new dishwasher installed a few days ago. First of all, there is something not right about the toe/access panels. There is gap between the panel and the floor, and a cutout in the upper left of the panel. This exposes the foam, which you can see in the attached photo. Because of the gap there is no protection to the underside of the dishwasher from dust and debris. Something is missing or this is an impractical and unattractive design. The pictures of the dishwasher online and in the manual indicate the panel should touch the floor. Secondly, even after a 4 hour cycle there is still water all over the inside. I had to wipe it down with a dish towel which was quite wet when done. Lastly, the lower rack is very low relative to other dishwashers which makes it uncomfortable to load and empty the dishes. Not happy with this.

My dishwasher is just 2 years old. It's just my husband and I. I did a load of dishes, went to empty the dishwasher pulled out the top drawer and it collapsed. It broke several glasses. The wheels on the side connected to the rack fell off and was in the bottom of the dishwasher, the material was dry and cracked. Customer service stated they have changed the feature on newer models. It will be $60.75 plus shipping and taxes. I feel shipping should be free, since there were issues. My whirlpool refrigerator was 1year when ice maker stopped. NEVER Again will I buy Whirlpool.

Love this product, would recommend buying it works great

I purchased this dishwasher a month ago, and I am very dissatisfied. I run the dishwasher with the extended dry option AND JetDry, and still water pours out of the vent and onto my floor after every cycle. After contacting the service department, they want me to pay to have a technician out to look at it, even though the dishwasher is brand new. I will be returning this item immediately.

NIGHTMARE - purchased a unit from Canadian Appliance Source and it leaked from the door during the testing phase. The water damaged my hardwood flooring and my kitchen cabinetry.... TOTAL NIGHTMARE The service is terrible… After this experience, they tell me I need to wait 2 weeks for a new door seal to arrive from United States. Worst thing is I don't see anything wrong with the door seal (fits well, no cracks, nothing). So we continue to wash dishes by hand because that's what the contract says. Stay away from Whirlpool

Love this one! Your dishes will be clean and dry every time. Use the cascade detergent and rinse aid, it's the best combo and will leave your dishes with no spots or streaks.

I bought this dishwasher a month ago when my other one wouldn't spin the blade any longer. It is nice having squeaky clean dishes, pots and pans. The glass lids ate do shiny again. This past week I had cataract surgery and am not suppose to bend over. The deep top rack has been very good because I can put all dishes and glasses on the top rack use my tongs to fill silver basket and run it half full for this week as my husband hates unloading the machine and putting everything away. It is fun using it. I like the buttons on the top of the door rather than outside. All in all it is a great machine. I like it.

I’ve had this DW now several months and the cleaning function function is just fine, but the door is heavy due to being stainless steel and there is a bit of a vacuum when you go to open it, so you have to pull pretty hard. It appears that the only thing holding it in the under the counter hole is 2 short screws that screw into the countertop above. Those screws have now come out and when I open the door I have to curl my fingers in under the countertop on one hand to block the machine from sliding out of the hole a little ways. I wonder how someone with a granite countertop would keep the washer in place. Do they drill screw holes in granite? The picture shows how short the screws are - half the length of a regular small size paperclip.I do really like how quiet it is. The features on it are very poorly described. I’m happy using the short wash, so that hasn’t been an issue.

I’ve only had this for a couple weeks but so far it is working great. So much quieter and cleans much better than our old one that was about 20 years old. Since it is a replacement make sure you understand the controls are on top of the door and not in front. We have to set controls with door open a little to see them because the counter overlaps some at the top blocking some of the visuals of the controls. Not really a problem. Set the wash you want and options. Close the door and you can see the start button easily. So far my wife and I really recommend this dishwasher. It seems much bigger with the way the top tray is lower where you can get bulkier items in top or bottom.

We waited two months for supply/delivery. 12 Days after installation it stopped working. The error code suggested a "drainage outlet issue". Call to so called "Whirlpool service", long wait and then " we will call you back in 5 days" !!!!! Service/repair available in 3 weeks.! We are returning it and ordered another. brand

I love this dishwasher. The only thing I can complain about is the installation. The dishwasher sat in my kitchen from 6/3/23 until my husband installed it on 7/1/23 because installation team that was sent to my house on 2 separate occasions (actually sent out on 3 occasions, but 1 never showed up) found reasons not to install it. We were not happy. So my husband installed it himself. I paid extra for installation and haul away. Someone is supposed to come this weekend to pick up my old one. Hopefully, he won't have a reason not to take it with him.

I absolutely love my new dish washer except for one detail… It cleans the dishes wonderfully and completely fits in with my other Whirlpool appliances. It is very quiet. It is easy to clean. So far so good, right? Well there is this one thing… It takes a LOOOOOOONG time to run through a cycle. When you put it on normal or regular, it takes over 3 HOURS to complete the cycle. If it weren’t for that aggravating point, it is the perfect machine!
