• The fridge came two months ago and came defective. There is a gap at the top of the freezer and it will not close completely. I called Whirlpool service and they set up an appointment for a service technician to come take a look. I took off work and made the appointment. The service tech did not. It turns out that service company doesn't even service my area and the appointment was canceled. No one let me know. They set up another appointment and the technician came and found that the refrigerator is not fixable. They set up a file with Whirlpool to replace the refrigerator. I called whirlpool and they said the technician had to look at it again and call them. The service provider said they would not come back out as the fridge is not repairable. Whirlpool then called another service provider and set an appointment. Again I took off work and made the appointment. The service provider was a no show. Called and again got that they do not service my area and Whirlpool cannot book them appointments. Whirlpool then said they'd give me a $200 limit to find my own provider to come take a look. Why though? The refrigerator has already been found unrepairable. Very poor service.

• What a waste of my hard earned money! Bought this refrigerator brand new at Lowe's 2 years ago and have had nothing but issues since day 1. To start with the freezer door is poorly made and doesn't seal properly, causing the freezer to frost over and stop cooling the fridge. Despite spending over $100 to buy a new seal and having someone out on multiple occasions to try to fix the issue, it boils down to the door itself, so every fix has been temporary. Then out of nowhere the motor is now malfunctioning. For the money I spent, I would certainly expect better quality. Do better, Whirlpool!

• I bought this a month ago and the freezer and refrigerator doors do not close tightly!! There are gaps in the gaskets that seal doors tightly! ! Very disappointed with purchase. We are having it serviced this week, couldn’t get anyone to come out till then. Because of the gaps, our freezer has frost in upper level and inside of freezer door. The motor seems to be running constantly!!! The food in the back of refrigerator freezes also. We thought we were getting a good Brand name, but maybe there is not such a thing anymore!! Very shoddy work and obviously not inspected properly before leaving factory!!!!

• I wish I hadn’t been in such a hurry to desperately need a replacement refrigerator I would’ve taken more time to research my pick. I love your brand (I have an over 35 year old chest freezer still going strong so your brand was a no brainer but I had many more features in my last Kenmore that I don’t get in the Whirlpool one of which is a light in the freezer which I miss so much. My old one was a bottom freezer top refrigerator and I loved that setup but switched to top freezer type. I regret switching. If I could return the new one in exchange for a bottom freezer I would in a second, but I’ll have to live with that decision. Otherwise it seems like it’s going to be an ok purchase.

• the "floor plan" is absolutely fabulous. lots of room, the ability to move the shelves and the door shelves is extremely handy. keeps the food nice and cool, and sticks to the temperature it should be. 2 recommendations - the seal on the freezer compartment should be better. Every time you close the fridge door, the freezer door pops open and closes again -The centre unit above the top shelf should be moved to the back or either full left / right, as it is in the way where it is, and you always have to naneuver bigger bottles around to get them in or out of the top shelf

• The unit itself has a hole on the top of the freezer door (About an inch in diameter) with foam coming out.There is foam and grease coming out of all the framework and doors.I would not recommend this unit.It does have good shelf room and nice freezer space, but the way it looks, I'm not sure it's good enough quality to keep cold in without leaking, it may be a power waster with the electric bill.Dissapointing!

• We have had this refrigerator for about a month. So far it works great, keeps everything cold on the recommended settings. The only issue we have is cosmetic, there is a lot of glue visible around the gaskets and trim. This gives a shoddy appearance.

• Having a very hard time getting the fridge to reach 40 and the freezer to reach 0 . Have tried all the suggestions in the manual regarding air flow control and recommended settings and the high (not the highest setting ) for fridge. Ice cream so hard could not scoop. sour cream frozen . Also door needs to be reversed to other side. Will have to pay appliance repair man to do this. Almost too small for me. thought it was marked 17 cu ft on model. Either the temp is too cold in fridge or too warm Past 40. Same with freezer . Way to cold. Frustrated with whole experience. Other refrigerator was an LG 19 years old 22.4 cu. ft. never had a problem like this with keeping food cold enough and frozen properly. Also thought the price was $621 and wound up paying $900 some dollars including the delivery. think $782 for fridge after checkout.

• So far, so good. It runs well. It's sometimes hard to tell if it's closed, because it closes so quietly. Which isn't a bad thing. I do have a bit of an issue with the larger refrigerator door shelf - the one for larger items like milk & juice. It's an awkward angle to put those large items in there, and I've spilled milk a couple times, already. Even after moving the upper bins up higher. Otherwise, it's a good refrigerator for the money.

• I purchased this refrigerator for my Garage! and it does not work in changing temperatures'. The salesperson was told it was for a garage, but they let me buy this one that is not rated for garage use. The salesperson was not properly trained in selling their products. I'm very disappointed in your distributor. I had a technician come out and told me it will not work in a garage.

• The refrigerator and freezer work fine. It took a few days to stabilize the temperature in each compartment. The only complaint is that if the refrigerator doors is closed too hard the freezer door pops open and stays open if you don't notice it. And since this is a secondary fridge in our basement it may take a day or two before someone see it is ajar.

• I am very happy with my new refrigerator. I was hesitant to buy a top freezer model but it is much better for us. And I was unsure about the single shelf in the refrigerator as opposed to the split shelves but I find there is so much more room with the single shelves. I'm so pleased with the new Whirlpool refrigerator.

• I bought this a month ago in a last minute to rush to replace a refrigerator that died. I like the new refrigerator but I would have preferred to have a black one but the time to get the black model was not in alignment with out immediate need. Only one complaint on the noise made when recycling.

• I would have rated 5 stars but the freezer door shelves have a big gap and so small items fall out easily. I had to purchase containers to put everything in. Overall l am very pleased with this refrigerator. It is quiet and freezes well and the stainless steel is easy to clean.

• I purchased the refrigerator a month ago. So far, so good. Only issue is the installer broke the hole plugs off when he switched the direction of the door swing so no plugs for the top holes. Also, they didn’t adjust it and the door hangs open vs. closing on its own. Annoying.

• Works fine but internal shelves are hard to get used to. Have to bend far down for the lowest shelf. No problem with temperature and cooling effects are great. Works as I expect. I am satisfied with the product although the purchase price was higher than I wanted.

• Product is good for the price , customer service is non existent, and because of that I will not buy anything whirlpool , needed help setting up fridge, no customer help had to call Menards and get help from those folks , manual makes great toilet paper as well

• My previous refrigerator was a Whirlpool and lasted 17 years. So far so good. I love my new one, but it doesn't have a freezer light and I wish the snack drawer was a little bit deeper. Otherwise it's a beauty. Hope to get many years out of this one.

• I bought this fridge in February 2026 and it satisfies my needs. I have a small kitchen and I have a small family so I wasn’t looking for a big fridge with all the attachments. It’s small and compact and still fits all the food I need to keep cool.
