• I bought this refrigerator less than a year ago and was a lemon from the start. I called for service soon after it was delivered because the temperature never got cold. I was told the milk on the shelf had to be away from the edges for the air to circulate! Imagine, I actually rearranged the milk carton but to no avail. The freezer and the refrigerator would ice up if I raised the "snowflakes" to a higher temperature. After a few calls for service, the service man said I had to replace the computer. But after the computer was replaced, the refrigerator continued to ice even at low temperatures. After spending a week visiting my family, I returned home to a rotting smell in my home. When I opened the refrigerator, the stench of rotting vegetables and meats almost knocked me over. When I opened the freezer, the meat thawed meats had pooled a puddle of blood. I can't begin to tell you what a mess this was. I had to account for all the food lost for the refrigerator that no longer worked. I am elderly and it has been so difficult for me to shop for food due to the Covid-19 virus. After discarding the rotting food, I realized I am without food or a refrigerator. I called Whirlpool and waited over an hour for someone to answer my call. I hung up and called Lowe's and the manager said, it was only under store warranty 30 days and is Whirlpool's responsibility. After several more calls to Whirlpool Service, the second day and after an hour, of waiting, I asked to speak to a manager who told me this lemon has to have service scheduled in 6 days before an exchange can be made.This has been a real disaster, no food, no refrigerator, and no immediate service. I hope that no customer has to go through this horrible experience and Whirlpool will abide by state lemon laws.

• Love the colour and the french doors, shelves could use more options of space between them then what is there now. There was plastic covering the whole unit we had to take off, but it went under the handles as well, and we have to take them off to get rid of oll the plastic, but don't have a hex key. I found it odd that a key was in package to level the doors, but not a hex key to get rid of the protective plastic.

• Refrigerator is a bit smaller than I wanted but it was what I could afford. I really wanted a French Door and an ice maker. I didn’t mind that the ice maker is in the freezer and not through the door. I only have one problem with it though, where the water comes out there is seam below that catches water and now is corroding. As it drips down it leaves a dirty spotty line. Drives me nuts because I can’t get it clean. I have only had this refrigerator for a year.

• The ice maker in the icebox came off the hinged/ screw. Now very happy about this. I don't have the funds to repair it.

• A piece of JUNK. ashamed you even sell this garbage. !!!! Social media has it right about posting how bad this refrigerator is. Having it returned and replacing with a GE. Never will I buy a Whirlpool anything. Customer service the worst.

• While ordered in July, the refrigerator was only delivered on September 23, 2020. I have a narrow kitchen, and this model was one of a handful of refrigerators that would fit my space. The French doors and having the freezer on the bottom are great pluses for me. The half shelf is essential for me. I always have a pitcher of something on the shelf. This refrigerator holds less than my previous model. The shelves in the doors are essential. The bottom one will hold a half gallon of milk. I am still working on learning how to best arrange food items. I have never had a refrigerator with filters, so changing those will be an experience. I have arthritis in my hands, so I hope I can do it. The full size deli drawer is great.

• Sadly disappointed with the quality of this refrigerator. We purchased this one because it fit our space, was fingerprint resistant and matched our other appliances. However the ice machine did not work and instead dripped water into the freezer under the drawer. Additionally the foam insulation in the doors was overfilled, leaving oozing dried insulation visible on the top of the door. We were given a replacement refrigerator with a working freezer, but the foam was still overfilled. Really disappointed by the poor craftsmanship! Giving it two stars because despite all this, it's theoretically a good fridge for a smaller space. I sincerely hope they only messed up two refrigerators on the line and we got them both..

• 11 months ago we bought all new whirlpool appliances, the old whirlpool set was 12 years old and decided to buy new to AVOID issues (never had a single problem with the whole set). Last Monday night the fridge started making an odd noise. Since it was late decided to deal with it the next day. Early Tuesday morning called whirlpool and they said the soonest they can have someone look would be 1 week later. Since everything was working it was seemingly reasonable. Three hours later the fridge quit completely. I called whirlpool back and they said they couldn’t get anyone here sooner, so here we are...without a fridge for a week at best. If they can fix it they will most likely have to order parts so it will be 1 week minimum without a fridge. This will be the last time I buy whirlpool, our old set was working good and we would be better off with that set now. We did not have an extra fridge at the time so we ended up loosing most all of the food we had while we were trying to make other arrangements to keep food in our house. A total bad experience and I would have a very hard time buying anything from them again

• After not even two weeks the clip that holds the vertical hinged seal on the left door already came undone. Now the door is a pain to close and I have to wait days to get this serviced as the manual does not show how to remedy this myself. Ever heard of QA Whirlpool???? Very unhappy and disappointed.

• Bought this refrigerator a couple of weeks ago. I really like it but there are a couple of things that made me give it four stars instead of five. First, the freezer is small, probably because of the ice maker. Wish I had the option of "no ice maker" and have a larger freezer. Second, the doors have to be pushed to close, especially the left side, something I will have to get used to. Third, the raised area at the top that doesn't allow tall items in the middle of the shelf. Other than that, the side is great, allowed me to put all my groceries in without a fight!

• I am so happy with my purchase. The 30" French door refrigerator was just what I needed for our small space. It is easily accessible and space in the door for milk, butter and condiments. It has plenty of space and love that I no longer have to bend or squat down to access the refrigerator. The freezer is also easily accessible and the ice bucket holds slot of ice and is great. This French door refrigerator is everything I was looking for in a refrigerator/freezer and it runs so quiet. We actually checked it a couple times just to make sure it was working. Super happy with our new whirlpool 30" French door refrigerator in black stainless!

• I ordered this in December and it finally arrived in March. The instruction book is vague. It must cover a multitude of refrigerators. I'm still not sure where I am supposed to install the produce protector. The air freshener said to remove the Styrofoam. I watched a video and no. The produce drawers are cheap and don't fit well or open and close easily. I wish the installer spoke better English, maybe the ice maker would have been able to get connected. I have a Culligan water filter system as most of the people in our area have wells. He was from the city and didn't understand. It is much louder than I anticipated and runs almost continuously. It's bigger inside than I imagined since no stores display only large refrigerators. It fit my space perfectly.

• I love this fridge! After almost 15 yrs of a side by side, I finally got this bottom freezer fridge. Its magical to me. I have kids and sometimes dig in the fridge in a rush, so having the door open signal is fantastic. Its just loud enough, and the sound is not obnoxious at all. I was initially worried because we keep alot of juices and tall items- but between the door and the slide in shelf is perfect to make the room you need. And the ice maker - clean-tasting and beautiful, half-moon shaped ice..love it. The sandwich drawer is great for snacks for the kids. I amsolutely love this fridge.

• I have been very happy with my new refrig so far Looks great in the space I had available Had to take out a door shelf in order to fit a wine bottle ...but that’s been the only issue with use thus far Haven’t hooked up ice maker yet I am not happy with the yellowing of the white trim on shelf - tried to contact WHIRLPOOL but NO ONE CARES. This was my only negative issue. For the cost and wait I expected a perfect appliance - this makes it look old I have photos but will not post This was my second delivered refrig - first one door was damaged .. this from big box store . Ultimately ordered from small hometown business .

• We got this as a replacement as the same model we had for 6 months stopped working as the compressor failed and couldn't be repaired due to the fact there is only one Whirlpool technician in Newfoundland and he's not fully trained to refill it. The technician took 2-3 weeks to come and take a look at it, it's a good thing the store we originally bought it from gave us a loaner (Smiths Furniture in Conception Bay), once we dealt with customer service, about an hour on the phone, it was approved and we received our new refrigerator the next day. So far pleased with the new one.

• This fridge is only 2 yrs and 6 months old. The ice maker stopped working a yr ago. The shelf it's clean believe it or not but there's liquid inside the casing that won't separate from the glass to clean. I feel it's not designed right the lighting and filter takes up so much room that it's hard to put tall stuff like milk, soda, juice. I don't like putting milk and juice on the door because you open the door to get food and could spoil milk, juice quicker in my opinion. Disappointed in this brand and an embarrassment if I get company and opens the fridge to see that stained shelf. If there is some way or trick to cleaning this shelf please let me know. I miss my old refrigerator. It was easier to clean and designed well that all tall items fit in shelf. This Whirlpool you have to lower the shelf and then makes the other shelves to small the height to put bulky stuff.

• I have always bought whirlpool. I wanted a French door with bottom freezer but had to be 30” wide. This refrigerator was exactly what I was looking for. ! It fits in great and holds everything, easy to organize.

• So far the fridge is performing as advertised. The only concern I would point out is the water filter LED display doesn't seem to operate the way it's described in the user manual. The filter reset does show the water filter warning state (red) but it doesn't reset to its normal state (blue). Update .... a few days later now and we've started to fully utilize our new fridge and found the vegetable crisper drawer falls off its slide rail. You will find that if you place a few veggies in the drawer, the slide rail is too flimsy and the drawer falls off its slide.

• Just have had this refrigerator for around 3 weeks. I am assuming this refrigerator was designed by a man. There is no water dispenser in the refrigerator, only ice. Boo! But, I'm glad the ice is in the freezer compartment. The gallon size door holders are nice, but you don't put milk in the doors as you open the doors too much. You put your milk on the top shelf in the back toward where the cold air comes out. Gets too warm in the door. I realize this is a smaller cubic foot refrigerator than my previous one but the adjustability of the shelves leaves a lot to be desired. They are too close together for taller items. Other than that, it is okay.

• Due to the corona virus, this was the only refrigerator that was available with a bottom freezer that would fit into my cabinet space. I actually wanted white with a single door on the top. But due to the lack of available appliances and the fact that my refrigerator was not able to be repaired, this was the best choice. I'm glad the middle shelf collapses for taller items. Otherwise there is only room in the door for one gallon of milk. The best feature is the meat drawer in the bottom of the refrigerator. The door bins are adjustable, but if you move them it isn't possible to get an item in the bin. Disappointing warranty of only ONE year for a name brand like Whirlpool.

• Freezing and destroying food in crispers! 16 months old and for the last 8 months we had tried everything - different tempt settings, rearranging food, blocking and unblocking vents, lining up the inside of the crisper with towels, etc. Last night I threw away everything that was at the back half of the left crisper - everything was frozen like it was in the freezer. We had enough and will be replacing which just sucks... $1400 down the drain because I would even dare to sell it... Will not touch another Whirlpool appliance with a 10ft pole.

• Perfect outside dimensions for our space! Very nice looking, runs fairly quiet. Ice maker works great! I love the large clear drawers! Nice freezer drawer with ample space. Shelf positioning a bit confusing because if you raise the center shelf to allow more space for taller items, the only position that's available is approx 2 inches from the top shelf so the middle shelf becomes pretty useless. Yes, the middle shelf has the section that shifts back so you can fit one or two taller items on the bottom shelf but it still does not allow enough space for several taller items like beverages. We ended up taking the center shelf completely out and putting the top shelf down one position and that seems to work well for us. The other thing I find unessessary is the tip out removable condiment shelf inside the left door, it's bulky takes up valuble space, I would have much rather had a regular shelf there. The door shelves could also be a tad shorter (-1") to make it easier to put items in and take items out. The single light inside on top in the center is okay, very bright, actually had to put a piece of masking tape on it because I'm short and it seems to shine right in my eyes. I much perferred the lighting in my previous GE, which were 2 small bright LED lights on eash side (4 total), positioned toward the front and back shining toward the center. Overall we're pleased, it's a good looking, very functional refrigerator!
