• I am very disappointed with this refrigerator that was ordered online at Leon’s. The doors are higher than the stated height of the fridge. The large feet are unattractive, one foot has a dark hollow opening which is in full view. The number of shelves do not use the space wisely leading to gaps of unused space. The fruit drawer is small and there is no deli drawer. This fridge is noisier than the 22 year old Whirlpool fridge it replaced. The optional ice maker comes with instructions that do not match the parts supplied. I’m very unhappy with this fridge and wish I had never ordered it.

• They sure don't make things to last as they used to. One month in and I just dropped a .7kg size frozen piece of lamb and the various damage it just did blew my mind; now I regret my clearly cheaply made investment. It took a scuffed chunk out of the bottom inside of freezer in front of drawer as well as a shatter impacting crater style crack. It was as if the plastic was wax, my husband witnessed and also couldnt believe how easy it was and now we know this item wont last as those things happen, especially given the tiny easy to roll off shelving. I'm devastated and this changed my entire what would have been 4 stars as the coldness from both fridge and freezer are incredibly impressive and cant be beat. However, my fridge and freezer doors don't line up (one is taller than the other) and the magnet on the back of the fridge door also doesn't line up. The seal on inside of fridge door was put on visibly crooked which the delivery guys weren't satisfied as I wasnt until they verified the seal still vacuums shut as it should at least.

• I purchased this over a month ago due to my fridge leaking all over my kitchen hardwood flooring. I was in a horrible accident and returned home wheelchair bound and a week after coming home this happened. I searched around for a fridge that would fit my cabinet opening (which was not standard) and had to purchase a smaller sized fridge. I also knew that I did not want the bottom freezer any longer because it was a pain. I thought this fridge was perfect for me and went with a referred appliance shop. They told me it would take 3wks to come in!! It ended up being a MONTH before it got to me. It has blemishes on the inside fridge panel that I thought was glue but, is small holes and circular scuffs. I also have a chip on the side that is visible and it makes noise. Also, NO middle draw for cold cuts and cheese. Nothing that I hoped for and what I thought I purchased. I'm extremely disappointed in the product (being so well known) and company that sold it to me.

• Bought this fridge as a replacement for a Kenmore model that served 20 years give or take. It was nice to find and purchase a white coloured side by side without an ice maker which gives added freezer space. I initially had bought the 25 cubic foot model but, unfortunately, the model was just under an inch too high for installation. This fridge has been in operation for over a month now and so far, so good. It’s spacious enough for my household. Upon plugging the unit, I haven’t changed the factory default settings. Beverages and milk from the fridge are refreshingly cold. The freezer keeps the ice cream at nice texture. No room for negative comments here. I have 4 stars because I couldn’t pull the grill off to level the front feet. I feel that if I try pulling the grill off, it feels as if I’ll break it. It’s okay as added weight of items stored in the fridge and freezer section have seemed to help but, it still needs adjustment. For the most part, I’m happy so far and hope to get years of reliability from this appliance.

• I've had this fridge for 20 days. The fridge typically operates between 41 and 48 degrees F, so any food in it is in the danger zone for food safety. It took a full 7 days of operation for it to get below 40 degrees in the fridge, and it only stayed that way for 3 days. I have both sections set at the coldest possible setting. The freezer usually operates between 0 and 40 degrees F so food thaws and refreezes daily. Yes, 40 degrees in the freezer section. The vendor will not take it back, and they could not get in touch with Whirlpool when they tried. I have to keep my perishables, and my husbands IV antibiotics in the shed fridge for safety while I figure out how to get a working fridge. And I waited 11 weeks for it to be delivered. We will not be buying another Whirlpool appliance. Update: We've had this fridge for a month now. We've have two repairman visits. Fridge still does not maintain temperature below 40 degrees. Repairman spoke with Whirlpool technician who said to order a control panel which takes a week to be delivered. So we wait. Whirlpool technician told repairman that the heat and humidity don't help, yet the shed fridge (NOT a Whirlpool) manages to average below 40 degrees in the hot (full sun) shed.

• less than a month after purchasing this refrigerator the vegetable drawer on the second shelf from the bottom broke. the plastic runner under the right side of the shelf broke. it was only held up by a small molded portion of the runner assembly which slipped into the glass shelf above it. the runner assembly was not fastened to the inside wall of the frig. the left side runner did have a screw to help the runner unit stay secured. i don't know why the right side was designed without that feature. very stupid...chintzy and unacceptable.

• I chose this refrigerator because it did not have water dispenser and ice maker, which there are very limited choices on the market. I purchased the fridge at Home Depot and when the fridge went dead I spoke directly with Whirlpool. I was happy that the rep was easy to communicate with but she had me worried if the repair would be covered under warranty. She said the tech would decide. The soonest a tech could be scheduled was 1 week (there was no concern over loss of food) and when the tech determined the control board was bad (thankfully under warranty) it'd be another week to receive the part. It's working now and hope there's no further issues.

• I bought this black fridge because I needed a larger one and I didn’t want white or stainless. I would have preferred a flat black or textured black because the shiny finish on this fridge is very susceptible to scuffs and scratches and you can only use very specific cloth to clean w/out scuffing it😕. When it was delivered and they took off the protective film there was very visible damage to the finish in a few places😖. I’m waiting to see if they will replace the doors. It’s very unsightly and we aren’t happy. If for some reason they won’t replace the doors the store can take the fridge back and order something else for us… The fridge is very roomy and we love the double doors. It’s very disappointing that a new fridge came damaged under the protective film.

• THIS FRIDGE LAST LESS THAN 2 YEARS! The freezer doesn't defrost anymore, thus the ice build-up block the flow of cold air from the freezer to the fridge. My technician detected nothing wrong with the heat element. He guessed it might be the main circuit, but it's no guarantee it will fix it. And the main switch cost more than $400, with tax and labor it's almost half of the price I paid for it. It left me no choice but to buy a new one. I understand that appliances built these days won't last as long as those build 10-15 years ago. But one that last less than 2 years from Whirlpool is a huge disappointment! DON'T BUY!

• Still transitioning, but happy with new fridge. Aside from the obvious and evident design elegance, it's been working smoothly and, as a brand new piece of equipment, like clockwork. Ample space, very well lighted and sturdy structure. Nevertheless, it should be noticed that included instructions do not really match the actual structure of the fridge, and some deductions were required to get it leveled. Also, as depicted in the attached photos, workmanship and detailed cleaning as it came out of the manufacturing shop, can be improved. Overall, at this point in time, if given the option, still will buy this model.

• Basically, this a good refrigerator, but it did have one problem which I consider minor. I purchased it around June. Two weeks ago, it started making a very loud noise that persisted for over an hour. The next night the same. The repairman who came spotted what was wrong right off the bat. My fridge does not have an ice maker, although there is a small hole for an ice maker in the freezer. Because that hole was not plugged, ice was forming on top of the motor, causing the very loud noise. The repairman sealed the hole and I haven't had any problems since then. The manufacturer should have sealed that hole.

• This refrigerator doesn’t have the leveling foot as the instruction manual listed. It can’t be stabilized from rolling. It also missing the door alignment tool.

• Like most people who have a refrigerator stop working without notice I was under stress to select a side-by-side. Waiting for 6-7 days without food under refrigeration is a real problem! I needed a refrigerator no wider than 33". I am disappointed that this model doesn't allow enough height on the top shelf to allow a gallon of milk to be placed there rather than on the door. I don't like that much weight on the door. It would only have required a small additional amount of space to accommodate the heavy milk container. I am disappointed that packages of food (walnuts) have slid off the back of the glass shelves. I miss having a meat drawer.

• Bought this to replace my 1995 side-by-side. Inside fridge not as spacious...bottom shelf doesn't go all the way back due to the light fixture. Door bins too big so less shelf space. Prefer the older model slim door handles, new ones stick out more. If I need to take out vegie bin, I have to pull the fridge forward to an open doorway to swing the door open wider. Toe kick left side open space kinda ugly. Wish I could have gotten my old one repaired...it was biscuit/almond colored and had better configuration inside the fridge and slimer door handles. Had to go with white. Doesn't match my other appliances. It is quite and I guess i'll get used to it.

• I've had this for a month and a week, and so far I find it awesome. I thought I had exactly the same fridge before this one, but the interior of this current model is roomier somehow, though the external dimensions are the same. It works well, and I love the depth of the door shelves, which are much deeper than in my old fridge.

• The Whirlpool 33-inch Wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator - 22 cu. ft. is the only side-by-side without water/ice that I could find. (I didn't want a fridge with water/ice maker, since they are notoriously failure prone. For said reason not many fridges in Europe come with water/ice.) It took 2+ weeks for the fridge to be delivered, and it arrived with a broken freezer light switch. The switch was replaced under warranty, but a small hairline crack adjacent to the switch happened durng the replacement. Photo is available, but for some reason could not be uploaded to this form. Fridge seems to be loud, but otherwise seems to does work well.

• The coil cover in the freezer is out of alignment.. At this moment, I still missing leveling feet after I received the refrigerator and no customer service know what leveling leg is. On the stainless sheet surface, I can feel the vertical strip buffer. Inside the refrigerator, the PVC material is not even make any clear coating compare to my eight years ago refrigerator from Whirlpool. The side door alignment tool is not even with the refrigerator.

• trouble with temperaure variations called 'whirlpool service..not available for 30 days..called another service came out in three days..he said newer fridges run more frequently and temperature doesn't catch up to correct temp. He said to put a glass of water with a meat thermometer in it on top shelf and that would give correct temp..It seems to work ok but regular temp gauge and gauge in water varies. (The regular gauge in my other smaller garage fridge..works fine.) the refrigerator is beautiful and roomy and seems ok now..but I am still baffled about the different temp readings..only two months old..surprised at limited warranty...

• I bought this May 4th and we've been working on getting things in it the way we want to have it. It has much more room than our previous refrigerator and I'm glad I upgraded to this model. It suits us fine.

• Doors are uneven and the tool to fix this was not in the box as indicated. The humming sound from the motors alittle annoying. And I don't know why the white fixture shows at the bottom. Pictures added.

• I bought this refrigerator on the 28th of September 2023 from Canadian appliance source, received it the next day. After I mounted the handles, realized the doors and handles were not aligned. I then contacted Canadian appliance source to inform them of this issue and asked for a return. Their reply was that it was "the client is responsible for the alignment of the doors according to the manual" and referred me to page 29 of the manual. Keep in mind I am a senior citizen with none of the tools mentionned in the manual. Apparently, the alignment of the doors is not coered by the warranty so I was offered the dispatch of a technician at the cost of 129,99 $ + taxes. I was not advised of this at time of purchase and the manual was received at delivery. How can such an important issue as levelled doors not be covered by the manufacturer? Very unhappy wih all the back and forths and not having the issue fixed by Whirlpool as it should be.at no extra cost to me. From what I read on here, door alignment is definitely a problem with this model and having customers pay to fix this sounds like hidden fees.

• This refrigerator was delivered 10 days week ago. Since then it was not making enough cold in either the fridge or the freezer side even with coldest setting. We put our meet and fish in the freezer for more than a day ( > 24hours ) they are still soft and gradually turned black and corrupted. In the fridge our milk became yogurt. We had to throw them all away, and keep our grocery shopping, food and drink too, as little as possible at home. imagine the season of mid July with 90'F+ degree... Calling for inspection/repair is another headache, we have waited for more than a week just to schedule someone to come in having a look, no idea if they can fix it.

• Thank you Whirlpool for continuing to make this model for folks like us who had a fridge like this and didn't want to redo their kitchen when it stopped working. I bought this to replace the identical model which was 14 years old. I'm happy with the look of the new fridge which is almost exactly like the old one. However, the inside is vastly different - one bin and shelf have been eliminated. I have no need for a shelf that is 14 inches high and if I buy another shelf it will cost me about $150. My old model had a removable wine sleeve too which was also very handy. Of course I paid more for this new one 14 years later - but I hope the quality is still good since these changes could only have been made to save money. In this day and age when we're so concerned about saving energy, to have this much empty space inside a refrigerator seems like a real waste. Please Whirlpool rethink this interior design. It doesn't make sense.
