• We purchased this refrigerator two weeks ago and we love it! It is spacious, has a deli drawer perfect for lunch meat and cheeses, fruit and vegetable drawers that slide in and out easily, and adjustable shelves that accommodate all sizes of containers. We really like the design of the interior water dispenser. We had one in our old refrigerator, but this one is sleeker and set at a better angle to refill water bottles and glasses.The freezer is huge! It can easily accommodate a 20 lb.Thanksgiving turkey and all the leftovers that come with a holiday dinner.

• This Whirlpool French door fridge is seriously made for big, busy families like mine. The large capacity is a total game-changer—we finally have space for everything! I love that the compartments are labeled (because yes, I need that kind of help), and the door shelves? They fit THREE rows of sauces. Three! • I purchased this refrigerator over the summer. I researched other brands and models for a long time. Ultimately, I went with whirlpool because our last fridge was a used Whirlpool and that sucker was so solid. We only upgraded because the previous fridge was 20 cu ft, and we needed more like 30 cu ft. Here's the good: 1. The fridge is freaking huge. I throw 12 dozen eggs in this sucker and you don't even notice any missing space. It's perfect for our family of 6, and eliminated our need for a "garage fridge" or "drink fridge". The size is the real deal. 2. The interior water dispenser is legit cool. It's nice to have a flat front to hang up our chore charts or recipes, etc, without worrying about dripping ice or water on it. 3. It cools as it's supposed to The ice** is a fun size Here's the annoying: 1. the adjustment panel is on the inside left door and it gets touched all. the. time. Even when you lock it, you can still make it ding. Small, but annoying. Higher up, or even on the other door I don't think it would happen as often 2. The left door has a slide it part and it won't close if that slide isn't properly pushed in. Again, not a biggie, but annoying. 3. There is no "slow close" unless you physically ever so gently close it. Not great for a family of kids. The bad: 1. **The ice maker absolutely blows. It spews ice behind the tray and onto the bottom of the freezer. It also doesn't freeze at the right temperature, or comes out kind of watery? Can't figure out which. Doesn't really matter though, because what happens is that the ice tray becomes a winter wonderland and turns the ice into a solid brick of ice. Did all of the troubleshooting with temperature and level, etc, and had someone come out for warranty work, but it didn't get fixed. We currently buy bags of ice to fill it because it was getting obnoxious to have to empty the tray or try to break off little pieces of ice. I'm about to have to get warranty work done again and I am really not looking forward to it because last time I had to empty out the entire dang fridge and turn it off for 24 hours. Kill me now, please. The lunchmeat drawer is great and all, a little, but the metal (plastic??) edge just started to flake off and looks really trashy. The door bins are total crap and started to crack almost immediately. This top one in the picture shattered completely and is being held together by packaging tape. They are equal opportunity crackers...whether they were completely full or nearly empty, every bin except for one has begun to crack, or in the case of the pictured one, shattered. I think the only way to prevent this is to literally line the shelves with safety rubber and close the door each time as if you are leaving a sleeping baby's room. AKA, not a "real use" situation. Is the fridge I got a lemon? Maybe. Am I completely disappointed in this fridge so far? Yeah, pretty much. Especially because our USED, 10+ year old Whirlpool held up better than this NEW fancy one. Am I looking forward to emptying out my fridge for another 24 hours and having ANOTHER repairperson coming to see if they can fix my godforsaken ice machine? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do I feel like a total TOOL for not just buying a similar Samsung fridge my friend has, which hasn't had ANY issues in over 4 years? 100%. And moreso because it has the extra drawer and TWO types of ice. #firstworldsigh So, yeah. Buyers Beware.

• I’ve been using the Whirlpool 36” French Door Refrigerator for a few days now, and it’s been great so far. It’s super spacious — I can fit all our groceries, even after a big shopping trip. The interior water dispenser is really convenient and keeps the front design clean. It runs very quietly, and the shelves are easy to adjust. Only downside is the fingerprint-prone stainless steel, but that’s easy to wipe. Overall, a solid and stylish choice for a family.

• I got my new whirlpool refrigerator yesterday and so far I love it . There's so much space in it.. it's super cute, there's no noise to it and the controls for it are super simple and modern. It's supposed to be energy efficient but I can't really determine that yet but as of now I love it.

• Firstly, I would like to mention this is my first time owning a French Door Refrigerator and I am overly pleased with Whirlpool! It is such a huge refrigerator with so many storage I cannot wait to fully stock it out, I kinda started right after delivery haha. The noise level is next to none and the temperature control is amazing, the freezer gets anything frozen solid in no time. This is the perfect refrigerator for my huge family and everyone loves the built in ice maker and water dispenser. It’s designed so well as it adds a sleek touch to the kitchen.

• We have had the fridge for 3 weeks now and we could not be happier. I especially appreciate that the water dispenser is embedded in the side wall of the fridge and dispenses water from the inside. Therefore, no door storage space is wasted and both doors have the deep storage trays. The ice cube maker is embedded in the area between the refrigerator and freezer. Therefore, there is no freezer space wasted for that unit. The layout is extremely well thought out, with one minor exception; the vegetable drawer on the right side of the fridge cannot be opened sufficiently unless BOTH left and right doors are opened....the "flap" on the left door precludes that veg drawer from opening. Having said that, I'm not sure that there is a cure, short of narrowing the width of that drawer. The interior lighting is superb. I greatly appreciate the "Total Coverage Cooling" in the fridge. My other fridge will cause some items on the top/rear to freeze; that has not been a problem here. The unit is extremely quiet, I'm not sure I have ever noticed it running. The digital temp settings on the door edge are easy to use and will lock. The unit is only a couple inches deeper than the other fridge/freezer but, by not wasting space as noted above, has 5 additional cubic feet of storage! The finish of the stainless steel is beautiful and doesn't seem to allow fingerprints. The unit was exceptionally well-packaged and all of the inner drawers, shelving, etc was secured and protected from damage. There was no damage to any surface or component. The leveling feet were very generous in length; my floor slopes more than I would like, but the installers were able to get the unit level with the doors squared-up. I do have one large complaint however, that I can probably make against all the appliances I have purchased in the last few years....that is the "protective" plastic applied to the outside of the unit. It is obvious that this plastic is applied to the metal BEFORE the various components are assembled in the factory. Therefore, this plastic is wrapped underneath other sections that are permanently attached to the "protected" areas. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to remove this plastic cleanly at the edges. This results in having to use a sharp blade to cut the plastic off, sometimes resulting in minor inadvertent scratches to the very pieces that the plastic was supposed to protect, while requiring a great amount of time to do so! I don't think I can excuse anyone for doing this to their customers.....do better.

• Love this Fridge! The pizza space for frozen pizza boxes is great and the fridge has plenty of space and easy to move shelves. The ice cube scoop is a nice touch and it makes great cube shaped ice. Water inside the door is easy with a push button for your cup. Very pleased with this purchase

• I purchased the unit mid-November 2025. 3 days after installing the door sensors stopped working, therefore the alarm has been sounding every few minutes since (just over 1 week) The repairman is waiting on parts, but expected 2 days from now. Yesterday the interior water fill station stopped working. I intended to bring this up when the repairs on the sensors are made. I like the size and look of the unit, but I’m terribly disappointed in the reliability and multiple issues. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the gasket around the freezer drawer is peeling at 1 corner.

• (I received this item free in exchange for an honest review) I am already familiar with Whirlpool brand. My old fridge is the same height but different capacity (I added a photo for references of my old Whirlpool-the black one ) pictures were taken while the water line it was being connected in the back by the nice movers/installers. ABOUT THE FRIDGE ITSELF: it’s SOOOOOOO spacious! I love that it has an area for those akward pizza boxes! There is a deli area to thaw out things, super cooking area, and double drawer in the bottom which is common for this style of fridge but it’s new to me and I love that! Also a fun fact I learned while filling it up it makes a VERY faint beeping noise when the freezer has been opened to long to remind you to close it and I really like that! My brother has 5 kids and they’ve often left the doors open on the fridge when they visit. So that’s a good thing for me and them lol it’s very quiet while it sits and it’s energy efficient so it’ll help me save $$ in the long run which I appreciate. As always, I’m a lifelong customer of the brand because the quality of the products they create are made to last.

• We love the fridge. It took Ali’s a little bit of time to get our icemaker running good, however we are a well system so it goes through the Main house water filter system, then to our kitchen sink which has an additional reverse osmosis system then once again through the refrigerators own filter. Very nice fridge perfectly sized for our needs.

• This fridge is one of the nicest I’ve owned. It is so smooth and easy to open. You can hear it seal real nicely. The spaciousness inside is phenomenal and I love how easy it is to clean. The shelves are a sturdy glass and you can really feel they are quality. I love how easy it is to replace the water filter. It’s accessible and not in a hard to reach area. Another ease of use option is it’s on wheels. So you can easily move the fridge when cleaning. I love the brushed steel, it’s very easy to clean and has a beautiful sheen to it. The ice maker is extremely quiet, I actually thought it wasn’t working then went to get ice and it was full! The temperature control is on the side of the door and is well lit and easy to change. You can also lock it so the temperature doesn’t get changed by accident. It is also very energy efficient which I really appreciate! If you’re looking for a full size fridge that is elegant yet built to last this is your fridge!

• I like the separated ice maker (in freezer) as the in-door ice maker tends to solidify the ice and makes it harder to dispense. All in all we are happy with the refrigerator. Delivery on the other hand left scratches on the front door that I am still not able to get fixed. I bought the refrigerator through Home Depot ,who told me that Maytag would need to replace the door (I guess Maytag is where it was shipped from), Maytag told me that it was a Whirlpool issues, and Whirlpool said I need to go back to Home Depot. This would have been a 5 start except for the delivery. Still cant find anyone who can help with he replacement doors.

• I really like this refrigerator but I don't love it. I bought it in November 2024. The compressor cycles way too much and for too long. Its quite noisy and our bedroom isn't far from the kitchen. We've had two repair technicians.The first one was awful, he drew a blank. The second technician was excellent. He's ordered a replacement temperature sensor, hopefully that fixes the problem. He also ordered a right hand door seal, it had a small tear at the bottom left, which is common apparently.The crisper drawers are a bit flimsy but a good size. If the sensor fixes the problem I would give it 4 stars, sorry for the low rating but it's an honest one. The service dispatcher Janet was great.

• We bought this model as a replacement for this same refrigerator from 9 years ago. There are new features added that are improvements, like a better cooling distribution in the upper part, which looks like it will prevent things from freezing when they are crammed in the back. The ice bucket is huge, and the water dispenser inside can be operated with only one hand now. There are more lights inside, and the overall space is larger both in the bottom and top. However, here's the big downside, and it is a big one, it sticks out farther that our last fridge did (the same model). It is at least 2" deeper, which looks bad in our kitchen. I wish we could get a counter depth, but for a family our size that would never work. While I appreciate the updates and the larger space interior, it definitely sticks out and is an eye sore to me.

• I bought this to replace a failing fridge that we had for almost 20 years, another Whirlpool. I like the quailty of this brand; will never do Samsung or LG, tried that once and it broke within 2 years. Unrepairable. We upgraded on size and liked this model for the internal water dispenser and drawer ice maker for more space. It has been a game changer in our home. The fridge has a very large capacity and is built well. It operates very quietly, you can hear the water refill, but that's expected. The ice it produces are small cubes which I absolutely love. This fridge checks the boxes of all the things that we needed.

• Nice fridge overall. But a few issues. Ice maker barely makes ice in enough quantity to satisfy two people who don’t use much ice anyway. And no, no problems with water line or freezer temp. Also, handle striped when installed making it loose. Called service department almost three weeks ago for replacement. Still haven’t seen the part and no status available. This is a new fridge, would expect quicker response as I am about ready to return it if the handle doesn’t show up soon.

• Bought this fridge about 2 months ago after my 2nd fridge quit after 7 yrs. This is my 3rd fridge in 10 years. On advice of service tech did water dispenser inside fridge. Not sure about keeping the door open while filling bottles so will see how that goes. Fridge doors do not always close when swung shut and the alarm bell is quiet and doesn’t go off until 5 mins later so by that time I am out the door and the fridge stays open for a couple of hours. Our last fridge the doors almost sucked in when closing. The solid plastic baskets are very nice and lots of storage room
