• I’ve been using the 36 inch French door refrigerator from Whirlpool and I honestly love almost everything about it. The capacity is amazing and fits so much food for my family without feeling crowded. I really love the pizza pocket, it’s perfect for storing frozen pizza flat without taking up too much room. The gallon door bins are super convenient and easily hold milk and juice, which helps free up shelf space. The adjustable glass shelves make it easy to customize depending on what I need to storage and the pint-size storage is great for smaller items so they don’t get lost. One of my favorite features is the large capacity in-door ice storage because it saves so much space inside the fridge. The in-door filtered water and ice maker is also very convenient and work great. My only complaint is the deli drawer feels loose and gives me a hard time almost every time I open or close it. It’s doesn’t feel as smooth or secure as the other drawer, which can be frustrating. Aside from that, everything else is wonderful. It’s look beautiful , keep food fresh and has so many thoughtful storage features. Overall, I’m very happy with it and it’s been a great upgrade for my kitchen.

• I have had this fridge for 4 months now and like it. Overall quality seems good, features are nice, but the layout it took a little getting used to. I would give 5 starts if they would just alter the fitment of the veggie/fresh food drawers. They are stacked on the left side to leave room for an open pull out drawer meant for bottles of milk, wine, and the like, but for some reason, they made the veggie drawers just wide enough that you can't open them with just the left door open. You have to open both doors to open the veggie drawers on the left side. Not the end of the world, but that is really my only qualm with this fridge. The double stacked nature of these drawers gives less height to each of the main shelves, but removing a shelf panel would fix that if it bothers you. The icemakers work well and seem reliable. This style of in-door ice-maker are reportedly (and in my experience) much more reliable in the long run. This unit has freezer ice-maker as well, which takes up some space, but we turned it off and removed the bin, saving it for hosting occasions. It too works very well. The water dispensing measuring feature works just fine and is satisfactory. The height of the dispenser is fine too.

It delivers solid value for the price. If installing it in the basement and it is connected to the GFCI outlet, be sure to check it regularly as it can cause unexpected tripping.

• True counter depth! Fits perfectly in our standard size fridge cove built into our cabinets. Love the QR code feature inside the fridge - linked to how-to videos. Shows how to change filters, adjust doors etc.. the 6 organized zones are a great way to organize! I fit more into this fridge than I could in our previous bigger non counter depth fridge. Love the shallow shelves and door storage. It’s a game changer. The freezer drawer has a pizza storage shelf! Perfect sized because we eat a lot of pizza. Install guys were so nice and knowledgeable! I love the French for style so I am not bending over constantly. Very economical. It will save my back haha 2 ice zones is amazing. Overall an easy process and very happy with my new fridge.

• Don’t waste your money, the extra deli or temp controlled drawer for drinks is of poor design, comes off track with the slightest effort or weight. The left side of the drawer has a track for the wheel to ride in, the right side does not causing the drawer to move in a manner where the right side comes off the rail and drops. A retrofit fix would be a wider wheel to install on the right side of the drawer , I have had this model WRCF5236RZ00 for less than 60 days and already to sell it. I would welcome contact from the factory on a fix.

• Well, I just received the refrigerator today. Shipping was atrocious took six months for me to receive it, but it’s finally here and it appears to be a very, very nice refrigerator. It has a lot of room and a lot of features. Whirlpool has a very good reputation so I’m looking forward to seeing how well this refrigerator does. It appears to be very much quality materials, and I expected to have a great durability.. my last refrigerator was a whirlpool and it lasted for over 21 years.

• Purchased this just before Thanksgiving. So far so good. We love the French doors. The wide opening of the double doors gives us a great view of our food. The refrigerator keeps the food nice and cool. The interior is brightly lighted. Having the freezer as a bottom drawer work great and is convenient. The only issue and not really a complaint is the ice makers are quite noisy when they cycle

• We bought this refrigerator about six weeks ago We like the finish, the adjustable shelves, the bottom freezer, and the design in general. What we don’t like is that we’ve had to call for service three times The first time after only a week we called about the food fresh drawer, running too cold, even on the warmest setting When we put in fresh produce, it would freeze The repair man ordered a part which took two weeks to arrive and after installation, the drawer still was freezing food We have now called for the third time and a repair man will come out to replace the thermometer Hopefully, the solves the cold problem

• I bought this French door refrigerator and got it November 19th 2025. I love the room that it has in it. With the ice maker built into the door not in the frig part helps to have more room for storage. I love the dual ice makers. During the holiday get together I had plenty of ice for everyone. Another thing is, you can’t hear it running. It’s so quiet I thought something was wrong. You do have noise when it dumps ice. It’s a different noise from my old frig, but I have gotten use to it. The bottom freezer is so handy and everything is easy to find and reach. I took a lot of time to research all my options of refrigerators and found this one had the best features and use of space available. I’d recommend this refrigerator again and again.

• I bought this 2 months ago. The menu commands/buttons are not intuitive; the manual is poorly written. We had a leak from the discharge line that caused water beneath the refrigerator and ice forming beneath on the refrigerator base beneath the freezer. It was promptly fixed by a good technician. I'll post back in a year and let you know if this is a keeper.

• The bin construction is flimsy. The climate control bin, the long narrow bin at bottom of fridge, is almost useless as bin will always slide off from track! We have resorted to only keeping a small amount of food in the bin as any weight makes opening and closing tray difficult, requires special touch.

• I received this complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This is the first fancy refrigerator that I have ever owned. Having the ice and water has been AMAZING!! There is also an extra ice bin in the freezer which is convenient if you need to fill a smaller cooler. I have so much more space in my refrigerator, and the freezer has a convenient spot inbetween the bins and the door that frozen pizza can fit in. I feel like it truly utilizes any free space. There’s lots of different functions on it which is nice, however I have struggled to get the WiFi to work.

• I bought this fridge in November 2025 and initially really like it. However, after 2.5 months it stopped cooling properly. A repairman came and replaced a couple of parts, after which the refrigerator worked well for two weeks before breaking again. I have now been without a refrigerator for 6 of the last 8 weeks. The repair company is still waiting for parts 3 weeks after ordering. I tried getting help via the customer chat, and all I received is "the business" from a script. Extremely disappointed in Whirlpool, their parts, and their customer service.

• I have had the refrigerator less than 90 days and the refrigerator will not cool. The freezer does still work. I completed the trouble shooting instructions and after nothing worked, I completed a service appointment. Aside from losing over $400 in food the 1st available appointment was two weeks! I also had to buy a mini refrigerator while I waited for the service appointment. After researching it is likely the evaporator motor. I hope that aside from the part replacement Whirlpool can make it right after going through this.

• i like this refrigerator but didn't realize that you have to open both sides in order to pull out the drawers, if not it hits the door from inside. I tried to move the door shelves around but its still a problem. Also, didn't think about how important it was to have the full pull out drawer for snacks on the outside of fridge. In this one its inside so you have to open both sides of doors. Everything else so far is good. I also love to be able to turn off the inside ice tray in order to use the basket for more freezer items.

• I bought my new fridge in November so far s good. I originally had a side by side fridge and after 21 years decided even though it still worked I needed a new one. I love having a bottom freezer and the top holds so much more than my old fridge. Hopefully it will hold up as long as my old one which still worked by the way.

• I bought this a month ago only for it to stop working after 3 DAYS!!! The computer went bad, per the certified technician. After fighting with whirlpool to get a replacement & waiting for almost a month with no refrigerator, I got a new one delivered today. Same one but this one is defective & is leaking water & now I’m going to have to contact them again!!!!! In the meantime, I’ll have to shut it off so it doesn’t ruin my floors!!!! Customer service is also a nightmare & NOT helpful whatsoever!!!!

• I have to give credit or credit is due. I had another refrigerator that I could not get an icemaker problem resolved and after months, whirlpool agreed to give me credit for my refrigerator and I purchased this one. So far so good. The refrigerator has a great layout. The icemaker in the door for beverages fills up and so does the bottom one in the front door. That's all we really wanted and we got it now. Thank you Whirlpool for coming through, although it took us months to get this resolved.

• I bought this refrigerator about a month ago. When, it was delivered, the delivery guys did not level it correctly because it rocked side to side. I tried to level it but noticed the feet on front of the refrigerator were missing. I contacted Lowes but still have not gotten anyone to fix it. I bought some feet from Amazon to fix it myself. Unhappy with Lowes and/or Whirlpool - whoever failed to have the feet included.
