• Only had it a couple weeks, so we can't give a long term used review. So far we like it other then the door handle where the paint was rubbed off from the box hitting it. I called Menards where we bought it and they said they was ordering us a new handle. If I have not heard from them in a couple weeks I will return the range, but that's a pain.

• Just purchased this from the Brick, $899.00 was the regular price on sale for $699.00. It arrived with a broken guide for the bottom drawer that hold it in place. I didn't go for the cheapest and not the most expensive but mid-range, that's why I picked Whirlpool. I've had a whilpool stove and fridge in the past 20 years ago and they were great, quality products but not this one. This is made very cheaply. The stove is very thin and the bottom drawer as well is the thickness of a cookie sheet. It definitely wouldn't hold anything heavy. There are no wheels on the bottom drawer that will allow it to glide in easily and when I turned all 4 burners on to test ...the back one didn't heat as quickly and when I did that several times, the burner heat was not consistent. Candian Made and U.S. made products are far better but this has to be made/manufactured overseas...definitely not like stoves from the past. Not really impressed and may look at upgrading after seeing others who have had the same issues. It's a great stove if you're a landlord looking for a tenant piece but not really that sturdy for a long term family use I think.

• Great awesome range we went back to using this basic coil style from a premium glass top stove range, that we absolutely hated because it would go in and out on and off and inconsistent heat level would burn the food this stove works perfect, low is low, medium is medium, hot is hot, and the temp stays where it should be no more burning food because of the constant on and off that the glass top stoves use. I would highly recommend this coil top basic stove works great much better and more reliable than any glass top stove. Only thing that would make it better would be better quality knobs not cheap black plastic ones and adding a convection oven. Either way we’re very satisfied with it even though it feels like we’re going back in time. Lol

• well made, good quality, has auto shut off. very nice and simple design. easy to clean. good control settings. cooks great. heater elements and oven heats up fast.

• It has been very nice to use. A bit confusing to use the timer though. Don't like that the "button area" in the top burners darkened, looks dirty/burned.

• It is impossible to boil anything with the sensi temp coils. I had to look on line and find videos as to why I cannot boil water. It is because the coils cycle on and off in order to avoid overheating. They state it should not effect cooking except to add additional cook time - NOT TRUE. Some items need to boil, like pasta, some items need to be cooked at a high temperature or it does not turn out. I will also not be able to do any canning on this burner. Besides the temperature cycling of the burners that makes me feel like I do not know how to cook this is an ok product since I believe every range now has these burners except gas ranges.

• This range will NOT boil water. I can’t get a pot of water to boil on any of the coils. I also took several hours to make jelly because I couldn’t get that to boil either. It’s my daughter’s stove, a year old, and she says when she contacted Whirlpool about this, they told her it is a safety feature! DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL AND RECONSIDER BUYING WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES. A company that says a stove should not be allowed to boil water as a safety precaution is not aware of the purpose of appliances in the kitchen.

• I purchased this appliance on January 30. I am very unhappy with the range. The black metal material absorbed coconut oil and the spots remained there appearing to penetrated the metal. I have used the type of cleaning product’s recommendations. That has not taken care of the stains. The material on top appears to be of poor quality as a place for cooking. I would never recommend this range to anyone. It never appears to be clean and shows all of the fibers in what every cloth I use. Using a sling does not happen in getting a clean looking stove.

• bought this June 11, 2020. One coil was crooked. and after just a few uses, this is how the centers of the coils look. After just a couple uses, the crome turned copper, and they look like the stove is several year old. Also the burners do not heat up equally. They are hotter in some areas.

• I placed this oven in service thirteen months ago today. This morning we made muffins. 400 degrees @ 20 minutes. The oven heated well past 400 degrees, my muffins caught fire. The oven shut down at fifteen minutes and displayed error code F6 E1. Today is Thursday, I host the family for Easter this Sunday. Very disappointed in your product. At these prices I should get more than thirteen months of service.

• In this day and age, it’s amazing how you can still buy a range with old-school electric coils. Sister-in-law recommended it for me for some reason; I’ve never been married. Reasonably-priced was nice. Two months ago, I couldn’t get a friend’s flush electric burners to turn on. Lousy design, I would say. Not Whirlpool, I believe! Whirlpool Range appears to be a quality product. Now my Whirlpool built-in microwave oven and fan are also working perfectly. Mom preferred Whirlpool because it was a good value. Not the most glamorous brand, just the one that worked the best.

• We have had our stove a few months now - (see previous review) - and now we are getting quite frustrated with the way the stove top burners fluctuate their temperatures (a mandated so called "safety" feature). Trying to fry or boil something drives us crazy as the burner will turn itself down just as one is getting it up to speed. This will occur several times (maybe 4 times) while just trying to fry up some pork chops etc. - it cools down, then one has to wait till it comes back up to the right/needed temperature. Swapping burners doesn't make any difference, nor does changing the type of cooking pan/pot. There are more spots discoloured on the black stovetop which is a little disappointing.

• It sucks. I've been living with a broken oven for over 3 weeks. When the tech came, he discovered that the wiring to the oven had burned into, so the oven wouldn't work. The tech put in an order for a new thermal block and wiring harness, because he didn't have what he needed. It's been over 2 weeks, and the wiring harness still hasn't shown up. When it does, I'll have to call and reschedule another visit for the tech to come back and install the thermal block and harness. The last time I scheduled an appointment them to come out for initial visit it took them 2.5 weeks to show up. (And they had no parts). There's definitely something wrong here.

• It, of course has more updated digital features but looks and cooks great! My old one was 19 yrs. old. This is my 1st WHIRLPOOL stove. The salesman Chazz gave exceptional service and very knowledgeable. The delivery man, Sean (or Shawn spelling) was right on day delivery and friendly and efficient. The only negative I have was the 1 customer service guy ( not going to name) was a bit incompetent when I called with a question. The staff greated me as soon as I entered and store looked well laid out and clean. I went to them rather than the big local store in Medford even tho a bit more expensive but it's local and I would recommend them .

• Now that I have been using my Whirlpool range I can tell you it's a great buy! The stovetop and oven controls are easy to use and understand and resetting the clock on the time change was simple. Setting & changing temperatures while baking in the oven are easy and accurate. Cleaning is simple. I haven't used the warming oven mode but it did come on when I tested to see if it worked. You won't go wrong if this is your choice for a new stove.

• I am very pleased with this range. I like the speed at which the burners heat, the sensi-temp buttons and I particularly like the controls being mounted on the rear. This was particularly important because we have cats, and in spite of our best efforts they like to jump up on the stove. On more than one occasion with our old range, this meant they actually turned on a burner. One of the most convenient features is the ability to set a timer on the oven so that it turns off when done. This is particularly helpful when baking bread. The oven also lets me set a low temperature for "keep warm" such as 145 degrees, which is ideal for bread dough to rise.

• I very disappointed with this range I got it few days before Christmas. The sensor suppose to turn the heat down when it very hot to prevent it from burning per the manufacturer manual. My two big burners total turn off. The food that needs constant heat gets spoil or soggy in the process of cooking. It takes a while for me to get the manufacturer repair guys to come and see what is going on with the stove. By the time the guy gets here the second burner is not working. He promised the be back any replace the burners and change the switches because he has to order them. It's over a week and haven't heard from them. The stove is less than 60days This is the first whirlpool appliance that I ever bought. I will not recommend it to anyone.

• Everything works so I guess I should be happy with that. But the 20 year old Kenmore had a bottom drawer that slid open & closed easily...gotta pull/push this new Whirlpool at different angles to open/close. However I am very disappointed in the paper thin aluminum sheeting along/behind the top control panel. I bet beer can walls are thicker. "Who cares?"...you might respond..."it's only for holding the control knobs and it does that just fine." I would answer..."I care because while lifting it to move thru the door I bent that paper thin aluminum"...

• I bought this electric oven almost 1 month ago works well, heats up fast and is very simple to use. I have one issue with it. It was making a loud annoying squeaking sound due to a design flaw where when the oven gets hot the bottom element retracts and expands against the metal bracket. I placed a nickel under each foot in front which stabilized the bottom bracket I’m as it does not quite rest on oven floor which is the problem and stopped the squeaking. But really?? Should I have to keep nickels in my oven which is brand new???

• This stove replaces my Inglis that was going strong since 2003. It doesn't look like stoves are made anymore under the Inglis brand even though the brand is owned by Whirlpool. The oven finally conked out, so it was time to get a new one. I didn't see any point in trying to repair a 20 year old stove. Getting a replacement stove with coils is a feat in itself, especially one with a self-clean option. It looks like everyone is buying into the glass top ranges. I was a little miffed that this stove was nowhere to be found in a display model so I had to buy it sight unseen. When the stove was delivered, I was a little bit surprised that a stove described as "stainless" is actually more black than stainless. Once delivered, it didn't take long to see the defect. The oven door was off-centre and made a noise like a thunk when closing the door. Now I had to wait for the replacement which was delivered today. The delivery man was not surprised about the exchange. He said it was not unusual to have stoves swapped out, three, four or five times. It was very easy to see how quality has deteriorated which is surprising since prices continue to increase. It must be cheaper to replace these products with defects than just build a quality product from the start. Once thing that I noticed about the new stove is that there is no longer a light on the stove which models of old had on them. There is also the standard electrical outlet, handy for your kettle that has also been removed. The stove is much lighter in weight and I would guess that is because of the flimsy metal used on them. The metal on the sides is also different from the metal on the main part of the stove. I guess that they figure since the sides are usually hidden in a cabinet, there is no point in putting quality metal on them. I am just giving this stove an average rating as I am still reeling from that defective oven door. I can't believe that basic form and fit are not checked prior to leaving the factory. Is there no longer any quality control? The storage drawer has also mysteriously shrunk in size and is also made from the flimsiest of metal. I am going to render an educated guess that this stove will not last the 20+ years of its predecessor. I guess that I should be happy that everything is working although since I just received it today, I have not tried all functions. This stove is likely not unique in its shortcomings which is the sad part.

• The Owner's Manual is terrible. It spends all its time telling you how to avoid tipping and how to level the appliance. It says nothing about trouble shooting or how to use the appliance. You get a Quick Reference Guide but that shows little of the features of the range. I had to go online and call both of which wasted time and still did not get me what I wanted initially. I tried the Chat and they are only open during the week. Finally, I was able to download further tutorials. But why should I have to do that? Why don't they come with the appliance? For spending over $600, I was disappointed by the customer service from Canada and the United States.

• We maintained brand loyalty in the purchase of this stove. Our previous Whirlpool lasted us 25 years with only occasional and minor maintenance. We note already that the fit, finish and construction of the new stove is not as superior as in our previous appliance. My wife has cut her finger on one of the unfinished edges of the sheet metal and a slight deformation on the oven box means it's difficult to place racks in the highest position. The utensil drawer, construction wise, is a shadow of its former self in our first Whirlpool. We are getting used to the midway pause when we boil water in our kettle but I am impressed with the keep warm feature in the oven.

• I have had this stove for 5 months and the finish is coming off and staining, the burners don't shut off when the pots are lifted up like it is supposed to and one burner keeps shutting itself off during cooking. I will be phoning to have this addressed but I am sure it will be to no avail.

• I am so happy with my new Whirlpool stove! Just turned 68 years old this is the first time I have ever owned a brand new stove. It might seem a little funny to be so excited about an appliance purchase, but all my friends have been getting getting an earful from me about how great it is. I did the research online and the process ended up being incredibly easy. From the time I walked into Nampa Appliance in Nampa, Idaho, the whole thing took less than ten minutes. Delivery and setup were prompt, professional and pleasant and in the past couple of weeks, I have learned more about baking than I ever thought I'd know! I will definitely be purchasing a Whirlpool appliance from Nampa Appliance again. In fact, I've already started saving my pennies for a new washer and dryer combo!
