This set is so awesome! All in one area, so convenient. Switch between microwave/convection to oven seamlessly. Still learning how everything works lol the temperature is spot on and the oven even has a rapid heat to get you to the temperature quickly! Large size oven, great size microwave/convection. The cutouts on the racks in front make it easy to take dpans out! I can’t say enough good things about it! FYI- the oven can smoke when you first turn it on, so turn the vent on and open a door. Not too crazy but it stinks a bit. It’s a protective coating that Whirlpool puts on it. Idk why, but you cook at350 degrees for 45 min and broil for 10 minutes, I think. Mine was fine after the bake time, no more smoke. Best oven and microwave I’ve ever owned! You gotta buy one!

The connectivity and look is good. The design of all glass is sleek, BUT the potential for damage and breaking glass was all to easy to happen. Whirlpool won't stand behind that design flaw because it isn't a functional issue.

I purchased this oven-microwave combo a few weeks ago and have had the opportunity to use both the microwave and the oven multiple times. The oven works as expected and maintains proper temp when cooking. The air fry feature was a selling point, however, I haven’t experienced great results yet. Perhaps I need to adjust to the feature, as it seems to take longer than a countertop portable air fry unit (Ninja). Again, it’s not a deal-breaker, but the feature doesn’t seem to get as hot as the convention or bake functions. I did calibrate my oven per the instructions as recommended for my altitude, so the air fry temperature issue is not the result of improper calibration. If there is something I am missing, please send me a message.

We had multiple issues with a Lowe’s purchase of our Whirlpool microwave/oven combo.it took Lowe’s THREE attempts over six months to get the oven ordered and delivered - and by the third time, the Lowe’s installers got the oven in - but discovered a dent in the handle of the unit. They said we’d have to order and WAIT for a FULL UNIT REPLACEMENT AGAIN! I decided to call Whirlpool corporate and was immediately greeted by a professional on the phone who assured that she would order the handle ONLY - at NO COST since I purchased the warranty. It arrived within a week and have a working, beautiful oven. THANK YOU WHIRLPOOL!!!!

When we bought our new home, it came with all new whirlpool appliances. The wall oven is my favorite of all the appliances. I love it. YET, I gave it 4 stars! What's up? Your book of how it works its terrible. I do not even know how to set the clock, I have to use my phone for a timer and I just know to subtract 8 minutes when I need the time. I figure things out by guess or by gosh. I must admit, I am an old lady of 77. I am going to try to find u-tubes on it. It bakes beautifully. My husband turned the over off on me today, when he used the microwave. Haha. That's a by gosh! There was a link to go to for a book about the oven; however, it was the same book that came with it which is really not good. I suppose I will have it figured out just before they tote me off to assisted living.

I have never purchased Whirlpool product. I bought a new build (Pulte) and the appliances we picked were a level 2 so they’re supposed to be great. On the first day of being in our new home, we used the oven and it’s off by literally 100 degrees. The calibration only lets you increase the temp by 30 degrees max so we are basically screwed. We’ll see how it goes with customer support tomorrow. Same thing goes for the microwave. We heated something up that should’ve taken 2 minutes and it took 20 minutes. Unbelievable.

This is the second one of these that I have had. Unfortunately, Whirlpool is the only maker of a combo product that fits in my kitchen so I was forced to buy again, in spite of a terrible experience with the first one. Both units have had control panels fail multiple times. My current unit is 2 years old and I just had a control panel replaced for the second time (the first was an issue affecting the microwave and most recently affected the oven). The most recent replacement cost was $560. So, if you plan to buy one of these, be sure to budget an extra $500 a year for repairs.

Used 1 time and air from vent was so hot it burned my skin on my legs. Now waiting for service. But customer service gets 5 stars for their service and compassion. Unit at this points gets zero stars

Have it two weeks now and there is NO MANUAL. What they give you I a booklet with instruction on how to clean it and install it. They said there is an air fryer but there are no functions on the touch screen for an air fryer function. I am not even sure if you can use the oven and microwave together or if you can only use one at a time. It is the most confusing product I have ever had. Lets hope this last longer than my last one.

Oven and microwave have been functioning very well. Has many nice features
Rosa10/17/2024 12:21 AM
The oven is attractive and the oven works well. The microwave cooks on the slower side; however, the microwave door opens towards you instead of swinging to the side. It is an arm’s length long and is super hard to reach in and clean it thoroughly or easily obtain your food unless you have long arms or stand on a stepping stool. It is very high up on our wall and would be difficult to manage if you are under 5 feet four. The buttons do not always press easily so you have to repeatedly press them. We still have not figured out how to easily shut off the actual oven unless we use the oven’s timer. We also cannot figure out how to change the time of day on the microwave clock It is impossible to find the information on the online manual. I would not purchase this again. Our previous wall oven combo lasted for over 30 years and we loved it. This one is a different experience

Dear Whirlpool Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the recent purchase of our Whirlpool microwave oven set. As a long-time customer who has always trusted the quality and reliability of Whirlpool products, I am disheartened by the experience we have encountered. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge the significant investment we made in purchasing this microwave oven set. Given the substantial cost, we expected a user-friendly product with clear and accessible instructions. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Upon unboxing the microwave oven, we were dismayed to discover that no physical instruction booklet or user manual was included. Not everyone is tech-savvy, and the expectation that all customers will seamlessly navigate the internet to find essential information is unreasonable. The lack of an included manual is not only inconvenient but also disregards the diverse needs of your customer base. When we attempted to locate the manual online, we encountered further challenges. The process was not straightforward, and we eventually had to call your customer service for assistance. This resulted in an extended wait on the phone, adding to our frustration. While the representative was helpful in guiding us to the online manual, the entire experience was unnecessarily cumbersome. For a company of Whirlpool's stature, it is disappointing that such a fundamental aspect of customer support is overlooked. Clear, accessible instructions are essential for ensuring customers can utilize the product safely and effectively. Relying solely on digital manuals is not a sufficient substitute for a physical booklet, particularly when it is difficult to locate and access. In light of these issues, I urge Whirlpool to reconsider its approach to providing user manuals. Including a physical instruction booklet with the product would greatly enhance customer satisfaction and usability. Additionally, if online resources are to be used, they should be made easily accessible with clear directions provided within the product packaging. We hope that Whirlpool will take these concerns seriously and implement changes to improve the customer experience. It is our sincere hope that future customers will not have to endure the same frustrations we faced. We still barely know how to operate this oven unfortunately. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I made this decision based on offerings available from my home warranty. I like that fact it can run of an app. I have tried it and it works well. It’s very quiet and works well. However, there are two things I wish were different. A 900 watt micro is in my opinion that is too low. Would have preferred 1100-1200 but with warranty not an option. Also, I wish the touch screen was larger. There is plenty of room to make it larger. We are 58 and 65 years old so larger font is always preferred. But again no warranty option.
Jane02/28/2024 01:58 AM
Was excited to get my new oven. It looks very nice and matches my black whirlpool refridgerator and dishwasher perfect. I do not like the the control panel. To many steps to do simple baking and microwave cooking. Also the is no off command for the oven. Can't tell when oven has turned off until it cools. The app doesn't always work, it says my oven is not connected but the oven shows wi-fi connection. Still cannot get the air fry option from the app. It does bake well and the microwave cook very even. Overall like the oven and microwaves performance but do not like the control panel.

Has a very “neat “ look about it -dresses up the kitchen My only complaint thus far is that no owner manual is provided w/the appliance. That would be especially welcome learning the microwave sequences.
Elder7704/12/2025 03:10 AM
We purchased this combination oven and microwave as an addition to our new home. What I find most attractive about this product is the ease of use. It is much easier to use than the previous products I have owned. Intuitive and efficient in its design, it provides the most functionality in the fewest steps. Previous microwaves we've owned required a complex system of numerous steps just to set the power level. Although, some of the interface items may be small, they are all right on the screen allowing you to easily choose how much power should be applied while cooking.
WhirlpoolUserforLife02/28/2025 09:54 AM
This Oven Microwave Combo came with my new home in 2023 along with a Whirlpool Refrigerator and a stovetop/oven Whirlpool. To date, I have already replaced the oven part of the Stovetop oven. Also, the refrigerator line cracked and leaked behind the unit into the wall causing catastrophic damage to my wall and flooring. This wasn't discovered until months later when black mold came thru the basement ceiling and under the wall in the adjoining room. Now the microwave in this combo needs repair. One would expect a little more longevity in these appliances. :(
R-O-M RIP03/03/2026 06:53 AM
It’s multi-functional, relatively easy to use than expected.
Yiti01/01/2026 09:30 AM
This product works very well and is nearly silent. My only qualm is that it doesn’t come with cooking instructions and the the microwave seems to only have three settings for time: 2 minutes, 1 minute, and 30 seconds. So, if I’m cooking a frozen meal requiring 7 minutes, I use 3 2’s and 1 1. My old KitchenAide had a “custom cook” button, which this does not. So if you want to cook bacon for instance, there is no way to know how long it should cook in the microwave, except trial and error. On the plus side, the whirlpool seems to know how long it takes to reheat things…you just enter the item, ie: soup, and how many. Likewise with a “dinner plate”. All in all, I prefer my old Kitchen Aide, but it finally died after 18 years. RIP.
Sue8003/31/2024 02:17 AM
Both microwave and oven are efficient and work well. One minor issue is that the clock keeps gaining time. But overall I am very happy.
Dr. S.08/07/2024 01:59 AM
-Microwave door that pulls down versus to the side will never work for smaller individuals, including children. If something stops rotating at the back it is hard to impossible to reach. This especially true when the dual microwave/oven is hung fairly high. -This microwave has NO power. My first microwave in the 1970s was stronger than this one. - The controls are not intuitive or simple. A microwave should have an immediate and visible keypad with 30 seconds, start, stop, etc. It is not obvious how to turn off microwave or oven.
D'Dee10/28/2025 11:42 AM
This came with our new house. I do not like the control panel as when you wipe it off all of the features start popping up, annoying. using the oven is very confusing. You open the door and it comes up on the screen resume, why. You use the microwave and it wants to shut off the oven. If I would have had a choice, I would not have bought this unit!
Bad choice04/01/2024 03:07 AM
I didn't have a choice to pick appliances ' brand in my spec home. All my appliances (this oven combo, dishwasher, washer, dryer), they all are poorly designed and function not really tested. I tested simple rice cooking option and it take almost 4 hrs as per its AI cooking. The oven can not even do simple air fryer "toasting".waste of money
Suren bhai06/29/2025 02:08 PM
I am happy with my new Built in Microwave/Oven Combination EXCEPT I truly wish it came with an old fashioned USER MANUAL. I was very concerned about HOW to turn off the oven Fortunately my YOUNGER DAUGHTER and GRANDDAUGHTER were here to explain things. AND set the clock etc. Older customers aren't as computer savvy as younger people.
