• This unit was installed into a brand new home and was the only option for undercabinet exhaust to the outside. I’ve had this unit for three months and it has had three separate blower motors. Each motor has been louder than the previous one. The flywheels or whatever they’re called are so out of balance that they all have vibrated and made a extremely loud banging noise while operating. The exhaust motor is located on the left side of the housing and the CFM‘s are so low nothing is exhausted out. Let’s see if whirlpool posts this. I will also be posting these same review through social media sites. Never buy this product.

• The light module in the range hood has never worked since installed. I started a service order back in June 2023 and have yet had my range hood repaired. Whirlpool has scheduled service on four different occasions. Now once we had a technician out that was going to order parts And said he would get back to me in a couple weeks. Once we had a no call, no show until after the appointment somebody was nice enough to reschedule. And twice Whirlpool has rescheduled because they can’t find somewhere to work on the range hood in my area. I understand if we can’t find a technician in the area but somewhere on this earth, there is a technician that can repair range hood. I don’t feel like it should take five months to find a qualified technician either. For a whirlpool to honor their warranty they may Hass to look out of the Yakima area for a technician.

• We upgraded all our kitchen appliances, and this was a reasonably priced vent hood that matched. The lights are bright, and the fan is quiet. It seems to do a good job of exhausting the food odors, and I like that the fan has three speeds. So far, I’m pleased with this purchase.

• Had it for seven year. Now is time to change it since the odor of the cooking you can smell it in the house. Works great, but after a while it need to be clean or new replacement

• We bought this unit to hook up to our existing external vent. It has a very slim and sleek design with some bright LED lighting and 3 speeds to choose from. The low setting is so quiet, you can barely hear it. If needed, the other 2 speeds will vent any amount of smoke you might have while cooking. Love the extra room above the stovetop since we moved the microwave to the other side of the kitchen.

• I love my new range hood. The light is SO bright. Now I have a light; before I had a dark. LOL The air movement is excellent. Very powerful. I guess after 23 years of the same range hood, it was time for an upgrade. My kitchen looks so nice now. The refrigerator, stove, range hood and dishwasher all match now. It makes my old kitchen look like new.

• We bought this fan two months ago and are very pleased with how it takes out the exhaust. We won’t put it on high though because the filter rattles badly at high speed.
