Heavy Cycle

Extra cycle time takes care of heavily soiled messes and hard-to-clean dishes.

Heated Dry Option

A Heated Dry Option allows you to use a clean, dry dish straight from the dishwasher thanks to added heat for drying.

Boost Cycle

Skip scrubbing and pre-rinsing with the Boost Cycle. This cycle uses more water, time and heat than the Normal Cycle and takes less time than the Heavy Cycle so you can target tough messes that need a little extra effort.

Normal Cycle

Use the Normal Cycle for normal amounts of food soil to clean up leftover messes from your day-to-day meals.

High Temperature Wash Option

High Temperature Wash Option raises the water temperature to help remove stubborn grease and food grime.

Extended Dry Option

Extended Dry Option extends your dry cycle about 30 minutes* to help elevate drying performance for any cycle.*Added time may vary per unit.

Sani Rinse Option

Whirlpool® Dishwashers with the Sani Rinse Option are certified by UL to eliminate 99.999% of food soil bacteria and reach a final rinse temperature greater than 150°F to sanitize dishes.

Cycle Memory

Cycle Memory quickly starts your dishwasher with one button. It automatically remembers the last cycle you picked so it’s stored and ready to go.

Room for 12 Place Settings

Holds up to 12 place settings including 12 dinner plates, salad plates, saucers, bowls, cups, glasses, knives, dinner forks, salad forks, small spoons and large spoons.

Overfill Detect

A float sensor inside the dishwasher will detect if too much water is in the tub and cut the power to the inlet fill valve to help prevent overfilling.

  • 1. The operation is direct and easy to perform as there are only a few options in the dishwasher. 2. The dishwasher is incredibly quiet and you can hardly hear any sound while the machine is running. 3. This is probably the best dishwasher that we have used with all the utensils coming out very clean. 4. The dishwasher doesn’t have some of the options available in other washers like late start. 5. The machines appears lacking in any water saving functions. 6. Overall, It’s a straightforward dishwasher with all the required functions needed. But also without any bells and whistles.

  • Dishwasher leaks. Probably a faulty pump. Repair service contacted.

  • The WHIRLPOOL quiet dishwasher with boost cycle is one of the nicest dishwashers that i have used. This dishwasher is super easy to use and gets the dishes clean. I really like the options that it has quick, normal, boost, heavy, and 2 drying options. The racks are sturdy it is fairly easy to clean the filter. This dishwasher is very quiet really easy to load and unload the dishes and silverware. I am so delighted with this whirlpool dishwasher!

  • I wish I could give this dishwasher zero stars. It doesn’t even perform its basic function, washing dishes. I have moved countless times with the military and out of the military, out of every on base house and off base RENTAL and this is the worst dishwasher I have ever used. I always prewash my dishes by hand with soap and water, use rinse aid and name brand soap. My dishes are literally coming out dirtier some how! It’s brand new. I’ve washed 3 loads hoping it would improve, I’ve had to wash those three loads 3 times each and still end washing several of the dishes by hand from start to finish. I didn’t expect a base model to be amazing, I did expect it to handle pre washed dishes. A base model DISHWASHER should do that at the bare minimum. The positive reviews have to be paid for or this is a total lemon. They come out too hot to touch so there’s literally no more heat to use. I use the “boost” option.

  • Doesn’t wash well. I pre wash my dishes, use jet dry and have tried different detergents. They come out murky and sometimes have a brown grainy material on them. I have a whole home filtration system so I know it’s not the water. Even the cheapest, most base model dishwasher should be able to handle pre washed dishes.

  • My Whirlpool stainless steel dishwasher was purchased in April and has not disappointed.

    Mr. Micky11/21/2025 07:12 AM

  • I bought this back in October and it has been an excellent addition to our new appliances and to our first home. It gets our dishes very clean. We love our whirlpool appliance.

    Anderson01/22/2024 03:58 AM

  • Oh, for the love of Whirlpool. My husband and I have been having absolutely no luck with our previous dishwasher. We had to finally just go to handwashing as the dishwasher we had continually backed up, held water that would turn putrid, and did not clean the dishes. It was continually having to get repaired. We purchased the Whirlpool Model: WDF341PAPM, and it is a dream. Runs quietly, has an app to start your dishes from elsewhere, ad it cleans the dishes to sparkling clean. Now when we have the summer parties, we're able to enjoy our guest more because we have a reliable whirlpool dishwasher that exceeds our expectations. Thank you for giving us dish washing hope Whirlpool!

  • We went with a less expensive model this time. I do miss the third rack. I put lots of big utensils on it. So far this one has worked great except for a very loud hum when it first starts. Service technician is coming out Monday.

    Jody03/08/2026 01:03 AM

  • I paid 800 for a local company to install this dishawasher. It is very loud, it sounds like a herd of elephants. Also the top rack was already rusted. The extended heat does nothing but bake plastic, but the dishes emerge dry. I called for service, and the repair person jerked it roughtly, and could not tell if the heating element was bad or not. He offered to replace it, but then said I could use it. He had not reattached it and left it disassembled. It was a bad expierience. The good news, is that whirlpool will replace the top rack- its on back order. But I'm not happy with the dishwasher. Its not quiet. Its very wet. Disappointing.

  • I love this dishwasher by Whirlpool. The color white is beautiful against my white cabinets and it fit my space perfectly. The installation went smoothly. I am pleasantly surprised how quiet this dishwasher is when it is running. I can barely hear it, which I like because I have an open concept and my main living area is next to the kitchen. It comes with a quick start guide, which I found to be helpful in understanding the functionality. I followed the directions on how to properly load the dishwasher for best results. This dishwasher has a lower rack, upper rack, and silverware basket. It gives you the option of adjusting the racks. This feature comes in handy if you have different size items. It is easy to adjust the shelves. If you need to get your dishes done fast, it has a quick cycle. It also has a boost cycle which heats up to a higher temperature to improve cleaning performance, and this setting defaults to the extended dry for improved drying. Next to the soap dispenser it has an area to add a rinse aid, which also tells you what level it is at. It is recommended to add every 1 to 3 months. I find it easy to use and easy to select the type of cycle I want and options. It also has a start or resume cycle, so if anyone opens the door to add a dish, it will resume when the door is closed. You need to select this feature. My dishes come out perfectly clean every time. I am extremely happy with this dishwasher by Whirlpool. Great product.

  • I have all of my appliance of a Brand Called WHIRPOOL. The dishwasher I bought though a basic model but works like a champ. all instruction was very clear and operates smoothly. The only thing I was concern of about the water in the dishwasher which spilled and made the box wet in one corner. and when opened the dishwasher it had a foul smell because of water that stayed in the dishwasher for long time. The water may be of factory tested process.

    Bobbarod08/07/2025 02:20 AM

  • This Whirlpool Dishwasher gets dishes clean and is easy to use. It is definitely an economical level dishwasher without a lot of bells or whistles. I was satisfied with how clean my dishes came out, which is the main purpose of this machine. I liked the clean design of the front door and blends in nicely even with the front controls. I wish there was a towel rack to maximize kitchen space. Most of the dishwasher components are plastic but that doesn’t bother me much. There are two racks, which provides plenty of room to put dishes and utensils in. A third rack would be nice but the two racks are completely suitable for my uses. I have soft water and the dishes came out dry and clean on the normal cycle with just detergent. The controls are very simple and straightforward. The downside is that there isn’t a way to know much time is left or what part of the cycle the dishwasher is on. The only way to know is to look at the clock when you start and note how long it usually takes. The light does change to clean when finished, which is useful. It took about 2.5 to 3 hours to do a Normal Cycle with the Heated Dry Option. I wish there was a half load cycle because I use the machine to be more efficient in water usage as well as time spent washing dishes. I don’t always have a full load to maximize resources and find the urge to just hand wash certain pieces rather than wait for a full load to start the machine which defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher. I think the greatest consideration in deciding if you should purchase this dishwasher is the noise level. While it is not as loud as older dishwashers, it is still really noisy. It can be heard in the next room over, which is not ideal for smaller spaces. I don’t mind the sound of the water spray but the high pitch squeak of the spinning arms and components is annoying. Overall, this dishwasher is good at cleaning dishes even if it is a basic machine but must be run when and where noise for 2 hours is not an issue.

  • Quiet and Cleans very good. This is also our fourth new Whirlpool appliance in three years!!! Thank you!

    Kenny01/18/2025 02:59 AM

  • Leaked on first use. Whirlpool tried replacing parts. Still leaking and they’re probably going to try more parts. I need a new dishwasher. It’s ruining my floor!

    Mitch09/30/2024 09:38 AM

  • We bought this to replace a faulty Kitchen-Aide unit. Rather than sink more money into an old unit which had been repaired twice before, we decided to just replace it. Having no track history of picking out sure things we let our daughter go to Lowes where I get a veterans discount and choose; our only desire was a white colored unit. she picked out this Whirlpool. it's quiet & so far does a nice job. the Lowes people did a great job installing, so much so that we bought the extended warranty. Leaving 3 stars because a good review is not just praise but reflections on at least a couple of years of use. why would you want to know if a brand new unit worked ??

    w5jv03/29/2024 04:24 AM

  • After waiting patiently for my new Whirlpool dishwasher install, I am satisfied with the overall performance. I used a rinse aid in the washer and glasses are coming out clean and spotless. I also load everything and anything all together to see how well it cleans and I was not disappointed. The unit runs quiter than the Whirlpool dishwasher it replaced, but it seems a little bit smaller. Perfect for a small family or empty nesters who like a quite kitchen and clean dishes.

    Jules7509/15/2023 03:36 AM

  • You emailed me asking for a review, you got it! We have had this dishwasher for 3 months now. From the very start it has had lackluster performance. It leaves food/sauce and soap residue all over dishes. I end up hand washing everything anyways. It also smells BAD, like rotten food and mold. We have cleaned it repeatedly and it still stinks. I called Whirlpool support which scheduled an appliance company to take a look at it, and they said it is functioning normally. I have been using dishwashers all my life, and have never had one not work as intended and be told it is fine. I know how to use a dishwasher, it's not that hard. Something is wrong with it, period. I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance after this experience.

    Charlie06/18/2024 03:32 AM

  • Average dishwasher. A good thing about this is that it is actually quiet when in operation. But so many lack of design. Hard to arrange utensils as the spacing is poorly designed. The cycles does not have a timelines. it is very hard to find the cycle times of different cycles (still didn't find it). I guess Whirlpool itself doesn't know. I wonder they relied on the Chinese manufacturer to design it for them so that their workload is less. Typical American. There is no delay start, which I think should be a basic feature these days. The buttons are too hard to press for operating. I am stuck with this because it seems like my builder wanted to get budget appliance and Trail appliance wanted to get rid of these models.

    Vivek03/26/2025 04:10 AM

  • This is a nice dishwasher. I like that. They upgraded it a bit from prior models. I was worried about the utensil holder being on the side instead of hanging on the door, but it seems to be really nice where it’s at now. I do wish they kept the four hour delay. That was a really nice feature to have other than that so far it works great as long as it can last more than five years that would be excellent.

    Jeff238709/19/2025 12:56 AM

  • I bought this and had it installed last week. I like the way it looks. My old one had a handle bar (like a towel bar) on it, trimmed with black on the panel... but I really like the sleek look of this one better. It is not as quiet as I had hoped, but it doesn't really bother me as long as I don't run it while watching TV. My other one also had 2 stem glass holders at the top for wine glasses. Thankfully I kept those from the old one and they fit this one... But they really should consider adding something for delicate glassware on the top rack. Other than that, I am happy with this choice.

    priceless109/24/2025 01:20 AM

  • I have been without a dishwasher for over two years; and after days of Thanksgiving preparations, I had finally had enough! My appliance choice selection would be Whirlpool. I did my research and based this decision on my experience with this brand. There is so much junk posing as "smart" appliances. No thank you. I cannot waste money on throw away, big ticket dupes. My new dishwasher replaced its 20+ year old predecessor. I am so happy with the performance, and cooking is fun again. Plans to buy more Whirpool appliances are in the works!

    April01/03/2026 03:22 AM

  • If you’re looking for a basic dishwasher with no bells and whistles then you’ll like it. It does the job. The design is quite outdated (looks the same as my 15 year old dishwasher) so keep that in mind. The heated dry cycle still won’t dry all dishes fully. It’s fairly quiet but the cycles are long.

    Nila04/14/2025 03:23 AM

  • I have not even used it yet. It came in my new home. The door creeks very loud, there was a scratch on the side of the door. It seems like it’s cheap plastic. The front of the door is stainless color but it looks all smeared. It won’t come clean.
