• Our old LG with its poorly engineered Linear Compressor died and we replaced it with this one. There are things we really like: - The water coming out of the 'fridge tastes better than the water out of the tap, even though in both cases the water is supplied from the same RO. - The finish is killer. Looks good, resists fingerprints. It's the best finish we've had on a fridge. - The middle drawer rocks. It is very convenient and I *love* getting ice cold drinks out of it. - The layout of the shelves is really well thought out. There is one thing that kills it for us, however. We CANNOT get the left door to stay open. We tried every thing we could think of and it still insisted smacking us in the back of the head if we didn't keep a hand on it while putting things in or getting them out of the 'fridge We had a repair company come out, and they were able to make it a little better but now the hinge cover at the top isn't flush. We agreed to that when the repairman was there, it was the only way to make it so the door stayed open a little. There is a lot to love about this refrigerator, but if it weren't such a big pain to return it we would. If you are OK with a 'fridge that constantly smacks you in the back when you need two hands to put something in it, this is the one. Otherwise I would keep shopping.

• Loved it for 8 days... then it started leaking from the ice maker through the middle drawer and onto our wood floor. Called customer service and they scheduled a service call for 11 days later! Repair guy ordered a new ice maker which he suspects is the source of the problem, but doesn't know for sure until he takes the door apart. That will take another 10 days or so to arrive. Now 1 month since the refrigerator was delivered and we still don't know what's going to happen.

• This refrigerator came with the purchase of our manufactured home. It is a dream come true! It's big, has lots of compartments and storage zones. It's super quiet. We're really impressed with it, and look forward to using it for many years to come.

• We replaced our almost identical Whirlpool with this model, love some of the updates. The exception is the drinking water doesn't flow nearly as fast as our previous model. My wife misses the feature indicating ounces of water eg. 1 cup- 12 ounces.

• Delivered Feb. 24, 2026 and still getting accustomed to more space than what I previously had. Since I didn’t see actual model in store, just online, I am pleased with my purchase.

• We have had the refrigerator a couple of weeks; unfortunately, had to replace my "dream" Whirlpool refrig after just six years due to a freon leak "behind the wall" in the worst location possible, so it couldn't be repaired. I could have purchased the same "dream" refrig,, but it would have cost me $500 more than this one AND it is being discontinued! This one is larger, which I like, and the refrig and freezer drawers do not have handles, which I relly like, as the handles on my "dream" refrig were always coming loose and even fell off; a bit challenging to tighten. My biggest disappointment with this "replacement Whirlpool refrig" is that the left door will not stay open other than maybe a few inches from being completely closed, making it challenging to put in and take out items, especially larger size/heavier items (I notified where I purchased this refrig and they told me they would put in a service order, but that was last week and I have not received any follow-up information regarding a repair person coming out). I am using a small wooden block to hold the door open, but that should not have to be with a $2k refrigerator! My next issue is with the water/ice dispenser on the outside; it is so inferior to my previous Whirlpool refrig which was purchased in 2019, so it is disappointing in what was chosen for this newer, larger model. It leaks water/ice with every use and we definitely miss not having the feature to pre-set the amount of water to be dispensed. I do prefer the two larger freezer drawers over the three in my previous Whirlpool refrig, but I do miss not having the three clear refrig drawers and especially that narrow sliding flat drawer across the front of the refrig, which was great for small condiment packages. I do appreciate the extra narrow shelf inside the left door, as well as the collapsable 1/2 shelf which seems to be unique to Whirlpool refrigerators. Just really upset about the left door not staying open. The location of the LED control is not convenient on the inside of the left door, as I'm constantly hitting it due to that door not staying open, so it's where my hand goes to keep door open!
