The freezer has a constant build up of ice. Humidity levels in the freezer are between 50% and 75%

After waiting for a month I finally received this refrigerator just before Christmas, I love it. It's so quiet and spacious in refrigerator. The freezer is rather small to me but I make it work.

As part of our kitchen update, we bought all new Kitchenaid appliance to match. We had an old 1992 Sub Zero we replaced with this. The initial delivery fell off the back of the truck and we had to wait for a replacement. The install by Appliance Install went great. The outside of the new unit is beautiful. The usefulness of the refrigerator is not nearly as good as our prior unit. The drawers feel cheaper than a $1500 stand alone. The handles are not easy to grab and the drawers do not slide open easily. The door ha an auto close feature that is actually annoying as it is always trying to close while you are in the fridge. There are only two drawers and there is no separate settings for the humidity levels for vegetable storage. Egg and butter storage? - No trays included and no butter keeper. While the shelves are adjustable, they feel this and cheap. They do include two useless trays for appetizers that we will just toss as they are a waste of space. For over $10K, I expected better finish and fit than was provided. Also, the rebate I mailed in was returned and marked PO Box closed even though the promotion was still supposedly open till March 31st.

Doors are not flush when closed. Freezer door has to been pushed to close and seal. Refrigerator door doesn’t stay open and wants to close when using the refrigerator. My whole kitchen is KA but won’t purchase KA again.

Purchased Nov 2025 Icemaker broke Jan..March..April..May! Still broke waiting repair. Just wondering how many times will they repair and not replace my unit!
