• We bought our microwave on 4/28/20. This microwave replaced a Maytag we had for at least 15 to 20 years & it still looked brand new. It’s a great appliance & works great but once it was installed we noticed the side panel did not seam closed from top to bottom on the right side. The installer came back and adjusted it after he spoke to your company & made the adjustments that were recommended but as you can see from the 3 photos attached AFTER the adjustment it still does not fit properly. We are not satisfied with the way it looks. We believe the installer did what he was told to do but could not make it close evenly from top to bottom.

• Bought this microwave and installed it immediately. Worked great and was quite happy with it until about three months in. The outer plastic around the window began to crack and crumble off the door. This occurred on three of the four sides. Called Whirlpool and they stated it was “cosmetic” and that only had a 30 day warranty. Offered to send a tech out at a cost of over $100, and they would probably only say it was cosmetic and charge me for a new door. Whirlpool obviously does not stand by their product and this plastic is clearly a manufacturer defect. Will never buy Whirlpool again.

• I’ve been using this microwave now for about 4 months and it is a very nice quality product. I love anything stainless steel and this microwave compliments my other kitchen appliances well. It heats contents quickly and is pretty powerful. It has a ton of different cook/heat options and the turntable ensure your food is cooked evenly. I only gave it a 4 star because the cooktop underneath light has already blown out and I didn’t use it that often maybe a few hours throughout the week, I also found it’s not easy to find a replacement bulb and the website or instructions don’t make it easy to find that info.

• I replaced my same model after it stopped working. I really like the features on this so I opted for same model. I like that the beep sound when starting is quieter but the finish beeps are louder! I also like that the interior is white instead of sliver, it’s better to see the cooking progress and easier to spot spatters.This microwave is the perfect size.

• I recently purchased this over the range microwave from a local appliance store. I installed it myself with ease. I had an over the range microwave in place that stopped heating food. One of the immediate features I did like is that the door does is a soft close, no large noise from pressure required to shut the door. In store I asked that the over the range fan be turned on and found it was quieter next to other units. The install was very straight forward due to templates that could be placed on the upper cabinet base and the back wall plate. Once the templates were in place, I simply drilled through the designated areas described in the install manual and drawings on the templates. The registration if our otr microwave was fast and simple. Navigation online was simple and easy to follow through. After a week of use we are very pleased with our purchase.

• I purchased this microwave in 2020. It was a replacement of a previous model of the same microwave. Within the first year we were having problems with the microwave not heating consistently. Although we filed a claim the only thing they would do is replace the computer board. Warranty service was difficult at best requiring more than one call. We were dealing with taking care of relatives and did not force the issue. It still does the same thing today. It warrants replacement due to the metall coating separating and revealing rust.

• It's a microwave, and that's about all I can say. It's rather disappointing. For an appliance that is SUPPOSED to act as a vent and a range light, it fails fairly miserably. The fan function is meh. The light function is miserable. It has a tiny, puny incandescent light that barely lights up anything, and it increases the temperature of the interior of the over quite a bit. I think it's a terrible design. I would NEVER have chosen this microwave, but the builder of my home, in their most definitely finite wisdom, chose this piece of crap. Luckily, after spending a chunk of change on under cabinet lighting, i can actually see what I'm cooking. #avoid

• First, I would like to express my amazement at the sheer size of this microwave. Its capacity is truly impressive, a welcome change from the smaller microwaves I'm accustomed to. I am delighted with its generous dimensions. Furthermore, I've found it to be remarkably quiet. While the control panel offers limited options, its power and efficiency are undeniable, making its simplicity a virtue. The large interior also makes cleaning effortless. • My home’s built in Kenmore microwave broke down in March 2020. I looked for a Kenmore but alas nevermore. After diligently searching for something similar i ran across my new microwave made by Whirlpool. It appeared to be an almost duplicate of my original microwave. It was made by a very reputable manufacturer Whirlpool and i really like its appearance and styling. After installation I’ve grown to like it’s simple operation and solid feel in opening and closing its door. Solid not flimsy or cheaply made. I fully expect it to last for at least 15 years. It was selling at a great price and I’m glad I purchased it.

• This unit replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool microwave. It matches the look of our Whirlpool range. Build quality of this unit is disappointing but low price is a plus. The light cover is missing a screw, mainly because a screw hole was never drilled to begin with. The way the filter is held in place is is a delicate balancing act to install that could have been designed far better. Keypad buttons are hard to see, brighter graphics would be appreciated. These minuses don’t detract from the overall look of the unit. Hopefully it will prove as reliable as our last whirlpool microwave. I would recommend this particular unit only if the person is on a tight budget.

• I bought this when I purchased my home in April 2021. Brand new and still had the plastic and foam and cardboard still on it. The Microwave was installed by Lowe’s and unfortunately the installation was done incorrectly. (As far as the vent to exterior goes) I eventually took care of that cause on the recirculating option did not remove smoke or steam from cooking at all. So please make sure you vent to outside. After I corrected this issue the smoke, steam does remove a lot better but I believe the filter should be doubled one per side and the light further toward the front and I will show in my pictures that it doesn’t light up my stove as needed. But other that these small issues it works great

• It’s a good microwave, It looks nice, Easy to use, Very roomy on the inside, but my only complaint is that the fan on this microwave is very weak even on the high setting...If your boiling anything on your stovetop you microwave is covered in moisture and drips all over the stove! I have to take a kitchen towel and keep wiping the microwave down while I’m boiling anything on the stovetop

• I purchased this over the range microwave recently to replace the 30 year old one that was in our home we moved into last year. I love the new microwave, it looks great and all the buttons and features are easy to follow. I was concerned my husband would have a problem with things being different no real instructions for it. It does have a few things that would be nice if Whirlpool could improve on. First is the continual reminder beeping when done. One beep when done is enough, I do not want another reminder again after that. The turntable is very small, light weight, and a bit wobbly. You have to make sure you put your heavier items right in the middle and centered as the ring under the turntable is a triangle and gets sort of wobbly. I was also expecting this microwave to have stainless finished sides. It has black sides that are meant to be totally hidden when installed between two cupboards. Mine has a cupboard on one side and the other side is open into a pass thru to the dining room. One of those ugly black sides is completely exposed and does not look very nice. Not everyone would be installing their microwave between two cupboards making it hidden. Other than those unexpected problems, over all I like my new microwave.

• After less than 2 months in my newly built home, I noticed a chip in the “enamel” inside the microwave. I called & waited several weeks to have a repairman sent out. The answer from Whirlpool was to spray paint my microwave, mind you only a few old. This is almost the shoddiest excuse for a repair job I have ever seen & this was directly from Whirlpool, not just my local handyman. I expect Whirlpool to do a better job to rectify this.

• Hello, I recently purchased this model. Overall looks great. This is an update to a previously owned over the range model that I had since 2009. The issues I am having is that when the door opens, it is not flush with the body fo the microwave on the left side. The previous model I owned the door IS flush with the body. My issue is that in my condo- there is a wall to the left of the microwave so the door sits right up on it. With the door not being flush, it can not open. My previous model is the same width size but the door hinge is manufactured differently so that when it opens, it remains flush with the body microwave. Any guidance on current models that have this door feature? It's hard to see this detail when via photos of the product online to tell. help!

• I bought this microwave to match my other whirlpool appliances in the kitchen. After researching this online, and the reviews we decided to make this purchase. This was a special order because H Depot did not stock the finger proof stainless. After mounting the microwave and trying it out, it is quite loud, and the lighting under the microwave is very poor. There is plenty of room under the microwave for two lights on each side ,left and right and could of been closer to the front to brighten up the range area. My older GE model had better lighting and was much quitter . As for the operation of the microwave I would say it is average so far.

• We have had it for a few weeks and it works great. The deck is lower than the previous microwave so it is easier to see the food. The light inside works well. Despite other reviews complaining about the beeping when it shuts off, it seems to be inline with what I expected. The keypad is simple and works well. Also saw complaints about how hard it was to push the buttons. Have not experienced this issue at all. The clock is a pleasant blue color that is easy to read. The black color is nice because it matches our other appliances, and cleans easily. This was a replacement microwave, and installation was easy. The old one had a more substantial mounting plate, but the one provided by Whirlpool worked fine. I would buy this microwave again.
