• WHIRLPOOL 30 inch double wall oven is all that you could dream it to be. I previously dreaded cooking, but this Whirlpool product has changed meal time in my home. This oven has so many great features— it can be operated remotely from your phone, it can bake frozen food, has a steam clean feature, a digital cook status bar, and an air fryer mode can be activated. The sleek and modern look also deserves a mention. It seems a little intimidating at first, but once you learn all it’s features, this oven is a game changer. It would have been extremely helpful if a user guide had been included with the product. One was found online, and was a great teaching tool. At it’s loudest setting, the timer chime did not seem as loud as it could/should be. Otherwise, this Whirlpool double oven will enhance your cooking experience and I highly recommend it. I l

• I could not be any happier with my new double oven. It has a nice large capacity and is well lit inside. Both compartments have two lights. One on each side and they are located in the middle and upper portions of the ovens. So, even if you have several items cooking, everything is well lit and visible. I also like the flat panel touch screen which allows for easy cleaning.

• We purchased the double oven and a microwave/range hood to replace a competitor’s oven/microwave combo and are very happy with the switch in appliances. Both Whirlpool double oven units are larger and quieter than the old competitor’s unit, and at a much more reasonable price. Easy connection to our home network and the internet; the optional air fryer software loaded via OTA upgrade during the night. Purchased the air fryer basket and can’t wait to try it out and get rid of the bulky counter top unit we currently use. Still learning the smart features; we’ve had the appliances for just under a couple weeks.

• Just installed and started using this oven. One big draw to this double oven was the air fryer mode/option. Turns out it’s a wifi enabled option. That would be ok except the oven will not connect to wifi. Tried a few avenues to make it work that has been unsuccessful thus far very frustrating for a brand new appliance.

• I bought this double wall oven this summer with professional installation. Very disappointed with the overall performance. The cooking modes, Bake, Broil, Convect Bake, Convect Broil, rapid preheat, frozen bake, exclude a roasting option. The specialty functions include defrost, keep warm, proof, convect roast. However the convect roast settings exclude poultry options and include vegetables and cuts of meat which require turning if over 5.5 lbs. There are no references to roasting a turkey or chicken. Stews require doubling and tripling cooking times if they are in a deep casserole pot with oven temperatures set at 475 degrees. Unpredictable cooking results overall. The top oven is self cleaning but the bottom is not. Overall. this new oven is so disappointing that replacing it in less than 9 months seems the only solution. What a mess Whirlpool.

• The whirlpool double wall oven with air fryer when connected is really cool. I like that when it is connected to the wifi it can be updated for enhanced performance. Also I like that it has more cycles for the air fry mode when connected. I also like the smart self cleaning option it has with the steam cleaning. It also has the scan and go technology to start cooking the frozen food right from the box. You scan the box and it sets everything for you. I really like this so oven really well and would recommend it to anyone. The design and all the features of the oven is really nice and it has a nice clean look to it too.

• Wal oven replaced an older Whirlpool double wall oven. The installers installed it but the ovens were about 1/8 to 1/4 inches too wide so it fit the wall opening, but cannot open the oven doors. Installers claimed they would be back to fix it but have scheduled three times and each time were a no-show. I even paid for the extra work. Have been without an oven since before Christmas. Requested a return/refund but the installer says its too late since its already "installed." The oven is in the wall space but cannot use it since neither the upper or lower oven door will open/close all the way. Horrific customer service!

• Worst oven I’ve ever owned. Every time I open the oven, the moisture from the heat is so bad that it starts to change the oven settings on the touch screen. It can cause any button to be hit, launch as changing the cooking temperature, changing the timer length, changing the cooking method and even turning the oven off. The screen is placed right above the oven opening, which perpetuates the issue. Had a technician out to inspect it and there is nothing they can do. Said whirlpool will tell us “just don’t cook using the cooking methods that cause the issue” or “don’t cook things with high moisture”. Unbelievable. Don’t buy this oven.

• Worst oven and customer service experience ever! We bought a new house and this was the oven that was installed but the builders contractor. When we first turned it on the we got an FE08 error message. I called whirlpool customer service for assistance. After a painful, archaic and cumbersome registration process Whirlpool said I had to contact a regional repair company for faster service. So I did. Mind you the oven has never been used. It took 12 days for them to come service the oven. So we patiently wait the 12 days. Once the service guy came to my home and looked at the oven asked the typical questions, have you used the oven? Have you turned the breaker off? Etc. he gets the error in 2 minutes. The same message I told every customer service person 2 weeks prior, he says that he can’t service the oven because it is too big and he needs a 2 persons to service the oven. That said they knew it was a double oven they knew the model number they knew error code. So they send someone out who just verifies the error code and that he cannot do the job. They set up another day to come out 5 days later. Basically they know this oven is a dud because out of the box the oven doesn’t work and an client service rep from Whirlpool called me regarding the error code. The entire experience has been awfully handled. I will never buy anything made or owned by Whirlpool including, Maytag and JennAir.

• I hate this new oven!!!! It does not have a off button!! Who makes a oven that does not have a push off button. I did not ask the sales person to show me a demo of how to turn this oven off at the store. Never would of thought that was something that I needed to have a person show me. I called the store where I bought it and they could not find out how to turn it off either, except by going on U Tube and watching someone else having the same issue . I called Whirlpool and they did not have anyone by phone that could tell me either.

• New oven and cooktop are both now working (and installed). It was a poor experience after spending $3,000 and trusting the delivery and installation to Whirlpool who farmed it out to another company who could not install the oven. I was refunded $200 for the oven installation and paid over $400 to have a local company install the oven and correct the installation of the cooktop. After informing Whirlpool their response was, "We're sorry, we'll note that," If it wouldn't have been more of an ordeal we would have returned all of it but we are just glad that it is over. We would not buy from Whirlpool again. Instead go with a local, trusted business.

• My wife has wanted to replace our 30 year old gas oven with a double oven as she is an avid baker and wants the convenience of two ovens. Our daughter and son-in-law have the identical unit in their new home so their good experience and review prompted our selection. The folks at Whirlpool did an excellent job of coordinating the shipping of this product and precisely updated us on our delivery, valuing our time …. Outstanding customer service. We have very little hours on this appliance thus far, however should any issues arise, I’m confident that they will be resolved in a timely fashion based on Wirlpool’s prior communications.

• Unfortunately, the unit installed in my new house is broken. Under warranty, I called Whirlpool who referred me to a local appliance repair company that did not have availability for an appointment for one week. Then, when the tech came, he said that the control unit, cooling fans, and another part had to be replaced. It will take 7-10 days for new parts to arrive, then another appointment must be scheduled. So, we have to wait weeks to use our new oven. I find this totally unacceptable. I will not purchase another Whirlpool appliance. Quality and functionality unacceptable.

• This oven was installed in my new construction home. I moved in 2 months now and have been using the wall oven. The temperatures are inconsistent. The oven will not turn off when prompted to do so. Very disappointed to say the least.

• We have a beautiful wall oven on our kitchen…that hasn’t worked since the day it was installed! We have been without a oven since then. Today is Nov. 7, we are getting the replacement oven installed today. Fingers crossed!

• Replaced a Whirlpool double oven unit that was 22 years old. Bought this and the new oven has a bigger display, easy to program, and a lot more features than the old ones. We’re in the process of selling our house and the new homeowners will be very happy to have this brand new appliance and all its features. Hopefully, our next house will have one like this, or else I know where and what to get. Very happy, highly satisfied! Recommend highly!

• I've been living with the Whirlpool double ovens for nearly a month now. It took quite a bit of looking for information on YouTube to learn how to turn the ovens off. The manual does not tell you how. There is no "off" button. Making that a little easier would be nice. Also, I still have to estimate how long the preheat will take and add that to my cook time when setting the oven temp because it starts the cook time countdown while it is preheating. Is there a better way???

• I had to replace a double oven that was in a custom cabinet - and this was the only model that would fit, so I didn't have a lot of choice. It is a good looking unit and I have to say I've been extremely happy with how it has performed and the temperature. However, it is VERY challenging to use with the touch screen and there is no on/off button. It is hard to know if you have turned the oven off. I have elderly parents who live with me and I can safely say they will never use the oven as it is too "high tech" and frustrating for them .

• Was so excited to have my first double oven and have been a bit disappointed. The interface on the screen is awful and doesn't press or slide easily and even changed my cook time once. Also the timer sound is horrible - I burnt my food once because I just plain couldn't hear it and the notification delayed on my phone. Also this oven definitely runs hotter than most other ovens, which I can now adjust for but initially was interesting to figure out. The app is it's main saving grace, and I wish we had other options with our builder as looking through these reviews I wouldn't have chosen this one.

• I just built a new house and got whirlpool appliances. The brand new oven was received broken. The service person came out and found 6 parts that need replaced. I want a new double oven since it is brand new and Whirlpool will not replace it. I would NEVER buy whirlpool appliances if they treat their new customers this way. Very poor customer service if you ask me!!!!

• It looks nice. Wish I could use it. Cooling fan is broken and it’s never been used. Tech came out after a week and said it’ll take another week to get the part and come back out. Said if that doesn’t work it’s the main electric board and that’s on back order. So I may not have an oven for Thanksgiving.

• If I could rate a "0" I would. This is the worst double oven that I have ever had and I have had several (Whirlpool and GE's) in my 40 years of marriage. From the very beginning of when we purchased our new home, a service tech had to be called. Neither oven would heat up properly (off by 70 degrees) nor could either hold a constant temperature. Two new control panels and two new sensors have been ordered to be replaced. That is not all, both ovens make a shrill whistling sound when heating up, when cooking, and while cooling down. Extremely annoying and should not be the norm!!!! I will never purchase a Whirlpool product again. I expected more from Whirlpool, but they make an inferior product. This is a defective appliance that I have to accept. Such a disappointment!!!
