  • Was in need of a new oven as our previous Whirlpool oven for 12 years would not heat up. When we were looking we told by the stores representative that we would need to have their representative come out to measure the in wall space for accuracy. Trusting what they told us that’s what we did. The very next day after they provided the measurements to us and the retailer the sale price was lifted off of the oven we choose causing us to have to pay $700 more than the advertised price we were hoping. Perhaps we can get another 12 years of Excellent service and use from our new oven.

  • Purchased house with all appliances already installed. All whirlpool which is nice since they usually make a very good product. Stove is intelligent in design and function. Has soo many functions it's crazy, you can even operate it from your phone, connects to WIFI, Of course I didn't do either but nice to have if ever needed.

  • I have had this oven for a while now and I love it. It cooks the food perfectly. I have had the best brownies cooked in this oven. I like how I can set a timer and leave it and I will get a notification on my phone when my timer is done. The oven has a bunch of great features too. I also liked that after I updated it I could use the air fry function. It does take longer than recommended to cook things though, but other than that everything is great. It looks really nice too.

    Jen_2_k08/22/2023 07:43 AM

  • Bought this oven in February and I am not happy at all. The porcelain finish in the oven is flaking off, down to the shiny metal. I have used it very limited the last couple months. Whirlpool’s technician states it is cosmetic and they will not cover it. I have read that this seems to be a common thing with ovens that have the hidden heating element. The bigger concern is that these flakes and particles of porcelain will get in my food while cooking.

    MES104/26/2024 05:06 AM

  • Terrible. I've had the oven less than 3 weeks and it's already not working. Whirlpool are not honouring a refund or exchange.

    tfbmtl07/31/2024 06:38 AM

  • Appliance given by builder and in 16 months it broke. First one year (warranty period), there is no issue. After the warranty ended, this ran into an issue. Display panel stopped working. Only one message that says “Power Loss”. Technician says that we need to change the motherboard of the appliance and says that they are seeing these issues lately with this model. Whirlpool is not helpful. They want to charge $350 for service technician to come plus parts are expensive. Do not buy this model.

    Urchpk08/03/2025 03:54 AM

  • We set up the oven on WiFi and have been having a blast ever since! We can tell Alexa to preheat oven to 400 degrees, and then the oven sings when it’s ready. We haven’t used the Air Fryer function yet, but we look forward to it. We have to clean fingerprints, but there are fewer since we use the Alexa controls. We are very happy with our oven.

    Lori C06/18/2025 06:45 AM

  • Love everything so far. I haven’t tried every cooking method yet (airfryer or convection). My only complaints so far are: no manual except online. And in the manual, it never said that you have to leave the door “closed” when broiling. We thought the broiler was broken. Every oven I’ve ever owned (I’m 70 years old), you always were told to leave the door open a crack during broiling. Finally figured it out watching some YouTube videos on newer ovens.. Since then a lot of other people with new ovens, told us they had the same thing happen. The broiler turns off every time you open the door. Glad we figured it out before the repair came out!

    Janene03/29/2024 07:40 AM

  • The lack of instructions is pathetic. It took forever to set the clock…well, find where you set it, because for some reason there isn’t a clock icon. It’s ridiculous to have only digital controls. You have to press items 5-6 times to get it to accept your choice. You need to take some lessons from Apple if you want to use digital controls! Also, the lack of an “off” button is a safety issue.. I had to search online and saw many individuals felt the same way. As a result, my first meal was cold. Overall, junk. I didn’t have a choice as this was in a new home, and now I’ll have to hope I can find a replacement that fits or buy a toaster oven..both a waste of my money.

    Hjhju03/26/2024 11:46 PM

  • Worst appliance ever! Brand new when we moved into our new house. Within 2 months the whole control board blew. Whirlpool sent a technician out who said we needed a new control panel. We waited 3 weeks for one to arrive. Upon installation of the new panel, we lost all convection functions and the temperature wouldn't hold. Technician was called out again and another new panel was ordered and installed. Same issue. Technician and his colleagues are out of ideas and the tech department at Whirlpool won't answer his calls. We're stuck with a wall oven that doesn't work, a technician on speed dial, and no promise this will ever get resolved.

    pat202512/09/2025 09:16 AM

  • I bought this oven several weeks ago and while it generally works as required, I’ve been very disappointed by the user interface and the touch screens. The touch response is often not responsive or accurate and the layout is not convenient or user-friendly. When I open the oven door, the touchscreen will be impacted by the steam or heat released and disrupts the remaining time and settings. I hate that the default setting is to shut off when the timer has ended rather than stay on. I always need to reset that setting every time I use the oven. It’s just not how I am used to using ovens.

    Benny08/10/2025 01:13 PM

  • Garbage oven - DO NOT BUY!!!! Our Whirlpool Model #WOES5030LZ is only a 1 1/2 old. We recently had a power outage and now the touchscreen is locked and it will not unlock no matter what we do. I called Whirlpool customer service and they told use it would $300 + to send out a technician to just diagnose the issue. Then customer service tried to sell me on a $35 per month extended warranty that wouldn't even cover a replacement if needed. I ended up having a local appliance repair company come out and they couldn't do anything to fix it. They quoted us $775.00 to replace the touch screen and controls.....100% not worth it! They did charge us $110.00 for the visit. So we are now out that amount plus whatever it will cost us to install a new wall over and I am definitely going with a different brand. Lastly, Whirlpool customer service is not helpful at all and therefore we will never buy Whirlpool brand anything ever again!

    dvinci5509/04/2025 05:01 AM

  • I would give this a zero if I could. I had my new Whirllpool wall oven less than a half hour, and when I tried it out, I got an error message F8E0 Upper cool fan speed. The fan needs replacing. I waited 4 weeks for the delivery, and now I have to wait for the part under warranty. It's a disaster.

    clstern08/04/2025 01:56 PM

  • My Whirlpool Wall Oven WOES5030LZ has become inoperable after a power outage yesterday. I've reset the house breaker and that has not done a thing. Changing the motherboard seems to be my only option. My Serial Number is DC4908094. Can anyone at Whirlpool assist me?

    daniel567808/24/2025 03:11 PM

  • Where is the care and use manual for this oven? It has wonderful features with no instructio n s on how to use them, or how to operate the controls. I can set the oven and temperature but am at a loss as to how to access anything else. Please send instructions.

    Chef03/30/2025 11:59 PM

  • Product and support is very very very poor . New home new appliance fan never works when we open ticket they send your instructions stop work on their faulty product no technician will be sent your home not even on day 1 of use .

    Jags06/02/2024 05:12 AM

  • Cooling fan was broken on day 1 in our brand new house and it's on backorder. Why would the repairmen not have spare parts with them when they come to look at a broken item? Seems like they should be equipped with things to solve issues immediately. We've been without an oven for 2 weeks and still waiting on the item to be in stock and installed. I'm sure the oven will be amazing when we can use it, but for now, it's a massive disappointment. This oven also smoke tremendously when you first use it. All of our neighbors have the same issue, so clearly something at the manufacturer is causing this. We thought it was due to the cooling fan issues, but apparently all of the ovens in our neighborhood did the same.

    StacyC12/12/2023 05:26 AM

  • This is a super nice appliance! Connecting to the internet and app is very convenient for setting time and getting notifications on temp settings. The menus are clear and simple. This does everything we need for a great value!

    Anonymous01/26/2024 10:44 AM

  • This thing was installed by the dealer, I did the warm up procedure and cooked one pizza. The oven then died. The repair tech (from the dealer) said it was a bad control panel and said he'd order parts. I'm still waiting.

    Dead oven05/14/2024 10:46 AM

  • The timer to notify your oven is at temperature is not loud enough. Also it needs a timer on the front screen. Looks very sleek in my kitchen.

    Keri02/05/2024 02:43 AM

  • I bought this few weeks ago and we are having issues with it already. Have not had a chance to use it even once.

    Naveen08/14/2024 02:02 AM

  • Wish the racks / grates extended out more to allow for safer baker pan handling

    GW12507/05/2025 05:15 AM

  • Not working …. Can not make work only the time … goes to practice mode

    Not working04/03/2025 07:32 PM

  • Our oven is only 1.5 years old and died on us after a quick power outage. It would not come back on after many attempts to hard reset. We had a local appliance company come out to fix it and they said control board needed to be replaced so did that and $450 later it’s still showing the same issue. Then they said the entire touchscreen needs to be replaced for $600. It’s a crappy oven that should no longer be sold because this seems like a common issue with it shortly after the 1 year warranty runs out. Will never be buying a whirlpool product again.
