• This refrigerator is made of a cheap materials. I bought this last February 16, 2022. And few days later I found a big crack at the bottom or floor. No one knew in my family what happen that cause the crack. It need a big and heavy object to make such a crack on the floor/bottom. I contacted whirlpool because it’s still in the warranty but they will not fix it because is not part of the warranty. I am so upset. All my appliances are whirlpool because I thought that there products are good and well built but i was wrong. Bye, whirlpool I will not buy any whirlpool product no more. I will not recommend whirlpool products.

• After being in my home for 13yrs, I decided to replace my WORKING APPLIANCES. I have limited space but wanted a side by side freezer, do to wanting to eliminate an older freezer downstairs. After only 9 day my NEW WHIRLPOOL WENT COMPLETELY BAD! I Lost all my food meats, seafood you name it is all GONE. The most Disastrous THING IS NO ONE, NOT PC RICHARDS OR WHIRLPOOL WANTS TO REPLACE MY SPOILED FOOD. Single Mother just out of Everything.

• This fridge was delivered Oct 30th 2023 and so far it has been great! I'm a single person so I don't need a lot of extra space in my fridge. When unloading the old Whirlpool fridge I just sat as much food as I could in the shelves from the door and to my surprise the old shelves fit perfectly in the new fridge. So now I have plenty of shelves on the inside door! Drawers on the inside fridge, the biggest one didn't slide in and out as smooth as the other two but that didn't bother me. I really don't need three drawers so I took the biggest one out so I could have more shelf space. So far, my one and only complaint is trying to vacuum the condenser coils underneath the bottom of the fridge. That's a bit challenging to say the least.

• Purchased early Jan 2024 and so far so good. Water & ice dispenser works well, freezes all items well and refrigerator keeps things cold and fresh. The only thing I don't like is the freezer side is small, not very much room at all. You couldn't put a 20lb turkey in it. For a small family it's just right as long as you don't buy a lot of things that need to be frozen.

• I bought this black fridge 3 months ago. When it arrived I assumed the hinge covers were missing, however, I found out this is how it is suppose to look. I called the store where I purchased it and they told me to deal with Whirlpool, which I did. The customer service was very understanding and listened to my frustration. But in the end, they said this is the way it is manufactured and there was nothing they could do for me and recommended I contact the dealer again. They did however say they would register my compliant which basically means sorry about your luck. I have included a picture of what mine looks like and the image from the Whirlpool internet site as you can see, they is a big discrepancy. Do not buy this fridge, as it looks cheap and poorly manufactured.

• After making the first batch of ice, ice maker just completely stopped working. Freezer is warm and all my food spoiled. And what made it worst when.m I contacted homedepot to get it fixed they gave me the run around took 5 days for someone to finally get me help and even then I was still told to contact whirlpool directly, when I did that, whirlpool took another 2 days to respond to me. And they finally made me an appointment a week out. I’m so frustrated with this fridge I paid too much money for it not to work and again got the run around when trying to get it fixed.

• This fridge is a nightmare . It’s broken 4 times in the past 4 months . Basically every month since I bought it I’ve had to call for service starting at a month since I owned it . I’ve lost at least 500 dollars or more worth of food and when I called they said they could do nothing for me. The gentleman that came all three times was super nice, I actually feel bad because he’s doing his best but this fridge is a lemon and it can’t be fixed regardless. It over freezes and then the water for the ice starts pouring into the freezer And then the fridge stops being cold so I lose all my food from the fridge and freezer every time.

• When I received the refrigerator everything froze on the fridge side and the water line. I thought it was because I didn’t have enough in my fridge but then when I bought more stuff to fill the fridge it didn’t fix the issue. I think the fridge was made during the pandemic so there was zero quality assurance. Waiting for local technicians to fix the electric flap inside to reduce the amount of cool air to the fridge, also that will help with the frozen water line. The techs ordered the part which took a week. So total time to get it fixed is about 3-4 weeks. Troubleshooting on my own was 2 months. Currently all of my food is frozen and can’t buy anything at the moment because I don’t want to throw it away once it freezes up in the fridge. Anyone have this issue as well? Pics attached.

• We bought this side by side to replace our old Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator. We like the ice and water available from the front of the fridge, with our old one we had to open the fridge door to get our water. The LED lights are a great feature. The ice maker works well also. The selves and slide compartments are a good mix. For the two of us it meets our needs, while a family would need the larger size I am sure. We hope this will last many years as our other one, only time will tell but over all we are glad we made this purchase.

• Freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling after a few months. Set up a warranty appointment through whirlpool. They no-showed the 8-12 appointment, wouldn’t answer their office phones, or respond to text. Warranty people called at 4pm to tell me they were going to try to make it but I had already gone back to the office. They acted put out that I wasn’t home waiting for them 4 hours after the end of their appointment window. Couple weeks later now and it’s still not fixed and no one at the warranty company will answer the phone to reschedule. I’ll buy another company next time, both for better quality and better warranty in case something goes wrong.

• We were hesitant to purchase this refrigerator after reading several negative reviews. Since it was one of three that would fit our space, we purchased it. We have no regrets as it does everything it is supposed to. The water dispenser located in front of the ice dispenser makes it easy to fill containers taller than a glass. There are two improvements that would make this model better. First would be adjustable shelves in the refrigerator (the door has adjustable shelves), second would be a fingerprint resistant finish on the doors. We have had no problems with the refrigerator making loud noises. or water dripping from the dispenser as we read about in several reviews.

• I bought the refrigerator back on March 14 and had it delivered and installed yesterday. After reading the comments of other purchasers I noticed one about missing caps at the bottom hinges. I looked at mine and I have the same issue (see attached pics). Please confirm how this is to be resolved.

• Poor manufacturing quality control and interior construction are the most notable features of this brand new appliance. Within one day of purchase the unit was dripping water on the floor between the French doors due to improper installation of the door seals. A service tech came out, examined the problem and said it would be 4 to 6 weeks to get a replacement door since the seals are not replaceable in the field. Now several times a day we have to dry up the water so it doesn’t ruin our brand new floor. I asked customer service for a replacement unit, they said the warranty is parts replacement only. The cover over the light in the freezer is easily knocked loose putting items in next to it, totally unacceptable cheap design. The temperature inside the frig and freezer vary several degrees even if the doors are not opened for several hours. Can you guess what brand I will not buy again.

• We bought prior to the birth of my 1st son to ensure the quality of pumped breastmilk. After a fiasco with the door not sitting right, freezing and thawing several times, and losing 3 months of stored milk, the refrigerator was mostly fine; only occasionally freezing everything on the refrigerator side. A month ago the refrigerator froze over again, and we lost a ton of food, again. The repair man fixed it; he replaced a part. However it wasn’t fixed. This refrigerator has been a major loss of money, time, and huge stress for us. I think we got a lemon, which at this point I think should be replaced.

• Now I know why Whirlpool is top rated! My two favorite features are the ice-maker which has various options and the the shelves and draws in refrigerator are all clear and so easy to see what you have stored away! Freezer also has a lot of storage and like how the shelves are set-up. You can fit more food than it appears. We are loving it!

• We live in a very small townhouse. 950 sq ft. We only had a space of 69" tall for a fridge to fit I to. This fridge is MORE than we had hoped for! Holds a LOT! Especially the freezer! And the features are perfect! So glad we bought this one!

• I bought this item a month a ago and so far so good. The only things that I feel are not right are: that the wheels don't lock. Every time we open the fridge doors the whole fridge rolls forward because they do not lock. I had to put rubber stops on the wheels to stop that. Also the fridge is all black but the hinges are silver and stick out like sore thumb from the side view.. See picture. Also it seems like the fridge always is running. I hope that is ok. We had to get this fridge because we had limited space due to that it had to fit into the cabinet and this one fit.

• I've had my new fridge for 10 days, and it looks very nice in my kitchen. It's smaller than my old one, but that's OK - I can manage. The new fridge has the water and ice dispenser on the front, and I am not happy with that. I have never had that on a fridge before, so I thought I would get it this time -- not a good decision! It's impossible to put ice in a glass without some of the ice landing on the floor. Also, the hopper takes up too much room in the freezer, so the freezer capacity is reduced by quite a bit. I can see that this item is going to be useless to me. Is it possible to remove the hopper and just have the water dispenser?

• New Whirlpool fridge, light is on, fan running but not cold in fridge and freezer after 48 hours.. Old fridge with a faulty door was taken away replaced by this junk. Very disappointed with the phone hold time with customer service and me needing to call back the 3rd party repair shop multiple times to check and see when the replacement compressor arrived and then to schedule and appointment to have it replaced and installed. All my food went bad, and Whirlpool doesn't cover this even though they send you a broken fridge. Unacceptable everything Whirlpool, the old working fridge with the broken door is much better than this.

• BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK I EVERY SAW .THE IDIOT THAT DESIGNED IT MADE IT SO THE SHELVES ARE NONADJUSTABLE, YOU HAVE TO SLIDE THE MILK IN ON THE SHELF YOU CAN NOT TILT THE BOTTLE BECAUSE IT TO TIGHT OF SPACE SEE PHOTO. ALSO THE TEMPERATURE CHANGES ON IT OWN. THIS IS LIKE A MYSTERY ONCE A WEEK OR SO THE THE TEMPERATURE RESETS IT SELF AND FREEZE THINGS. WE THINK IT MAY BE HAPPENING WHEN MY WIFE WIPES OFF THE DISPLAY. MAY NEVER FIGURE THIS OUT. ALSO AT TIME THE ICE MAKES WILL SHUT ITS SELF OFF AND WE RUN OUT OF ICE NOT KNOWING IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN. IT ALSO HAS A LOUD FAN THAT START AND STOPS EACH TIME YOU OPEN OR CLOSE THE DOOR. IT ALSO. ALSO THE WATER SPOUT DRIPS WATER AFTER FILLING A GLASS SO ENDS UP ON FLOOR. • This refrigerator has plenty of space in the freezer and refrigerator. I have had to adjust the temperature a few times dur to items in the fridge side freezing. I did have a service issue because the waterline to the ice maker was not installed properly. Water was running down the rear wall of the freezer and freezing around the area where the compressor fan is. It made a horrible grinding noise. I called for service and they came out within g a couple days to fix the issue. That was a few weeks ago and I haven’t had that issue again. So far we are happy with this appliance

• I bought this side by side refrigerator less than a month ago switching over from the other style, freezer on top. I love the temperature control settings for both fridge and freezer as they are very sensitive and there is no guess work. The ice maker and water dispenser work very well, giving options for crushed or cubes. The refrigerator door is deep with a lot of storage space. The only reason I did not give this refrigerator 5 stars is because the inner shelves are not adjustable so my taller items I have to put in the door and some of these items are heavy and I’d rather have them in the main central refrigerator. Overall I am very happy with this refrigerator.

• This was one of the few refrigerators available that would fit into the space I had, replacing a 25 year old Kenmore/Sears that I liked but had simply worn out. This Whirlpool is slightly more energy efficient, but it is much noisier, and it is for this reason I'm giving it only 3 stars. I should think with newer technology, it could have been as quiet or quieter than my old one. The shelves are not adjustable, but one upper drawer can be removed and stored, if you need a larger space between two of the shelves (which I have done). Otherwise, the fridge and freezer work well, the water spout doesn't drip, and the finish is easy to clean.
