Working great so far! Had issues with the 24k btu and since under warranty, GE helped cover this 18k btu purchase and it’s been functioning great!

Easy to use, straight forward remote control. Cold air is perfect. Haven't used the heat part of the unit as of yet. Hoping that it will be enough this coming winter. Had to hire installers because it's a very heavy unit. Seems to be relatively quiet.

the grill should be removable for an easier installation and future cleaning. the chassis slides in and out of the case very easily. The AC is very quiet and cooling is works well. The controls are easy to use and easy to understand. I have not used the heating part of this unit so I'm not sure about the energy usage.

I was apprehensive about buying this unit but opted to because of the reviews. I’m so happy that I did. The installation went smoothly. Much to my surprise this unit runs much quieter than the unit that I replaced. I’ve placed the unit in my sunroom that has 3 wall to wall windows. It’s an addition and it gets HOT in there. It only took 3 minutes to cool the room (12’x12’). The WiFi connection was a bonus for me. I can remotely cool the room off by using my phone no matter where I am. I just love it and am so very happy about this purchase!

The unit is doing a great job cooling the house. It is much quieter than the old unit. The remote is a handy component of this unit. I always like and use GE products. The unit was also a value. The ego mode will help save the rising costs of power. I am satisfied with the very satisfied with the init.

We're in Florida in an old uninsulated apartment in the middle of a heat wave so when our AC died on a Sat night, quick and easy replacement was imperative. It was such a a simple install, slide the old unit out and the new one in. We were able to upgrade to the reverse cycle unit for a VERY reasonable price and almost the exact size of the old opening. The new unit is much quieter and keeps us so cool we've actually had to increase the temperature. We'll definitely be using this brand for any future replacements.

Install was easy. Looks nice, blows 48 degree air. Hopefully it lasts longer than the last GE air-conditioner this one replaced which was just under 5 years. $800 air conditioner should last longer than that.

So far so good. Too soon to rate quality. Installation was easy, as long as another person helps for lifting. Trying to activate wi-fi capabilities, so far I haven’t figured that out b/c the ge app is not user friendly. I think I have to call for support.

This product was ordered through Lowe's and delivered to my home. It was delayed 3 times (not sure if lost or what happened) and upon arrival, the box was damaged. The AC inside had considerable dents and scratches. We should receive a discounted price for the aesthetics. It is not known at this time whether this affects the performance of the product. It is installed and did start up when plugged in. Time will tell

Unit stopped working. GE warranty customer service was rude, unhelpful, and worthless. Buy from another manufacturer. What a huge waste of time and money.
