• Works well and removes moisture. Wifi capability is nice and when used with the app, one can get notifications to empty the reservoir or clean filter. Seems quiet for a dehumidifier of that size, which is great. 50 pint capacity is sufficient for the area and when set at 45%, I can run the dehumidifier for at least 6 hours before having to check it. Has wheels and makes it easy to move around to different areas. Touch pad controls and easy to see lights so one can ensure the desired settings are selected.

• This is a warranty replacement. One great improvement is the placement of the "handles" for pulling out the bucket. Another-- for some-- is the capability to use WIFI to control it. It continues to be very quiet and efficient.

The smart connected app is everything you could want to monitor, and control from inside your house or across the country. I found it easy to download, connect and setup. The hose attachment is great for a more permanent installation and without requiring frequent trips to empty. Super easy to clean. Has filter reminder to help you remember those easy cleans. Also has this cool thing that senses the humidity and adjusts based on that. I think this has everything you could ask for. Time will tell how long it will last.

• This has been awesome. My family and I were sick. We had the humidifiers on all night. I don't like using the humidifiers because of how humid they leave the room (yes I know that's their job, they work for when you're sick but I still don't like it). I'm worried about mold. This time around, I told my husband that whoever woke up first was going to turn the humidifier off and the dehumidifier on. Let me tell you, when I woke up the humidity level wasn't as high, I felt better and I didn't have to worry about mold. It's a nice size and it's not loud.

• Love the smart feature. The machine has a very low noise level. Does a great job and appreciate that is helping to improve the air quality. Great for a humid area to minimize mold growth.

• Best dehumidifier I've had, and it looks sharp! The sound isn't too loud, nice and low rumbling. The wheels glide well so I don't have to put it much effort to get it into place. And it dehumidifies very effectively. I used to have a Frigidaire in the bathroom due to lack of ventilation, and an older GE in the basement. I upgraded the bathroom dehumidifier to this one and I'm very happy with it. I don't need the wifi/app control function so I'm not upset, but I cannot get the device to connect in my app. If you're specifically looking for a device that you can control from your smartphone, I'm not sure this is the one for you. I wouldn't consider myself technically unsavvy, as a millennial.

• Wow this is amazing I live in humid Texas and this fills up around every 48 hours it keeps the humidity low and the air isn’t as thick it’s quite and easy to set up love the portable water catcher super easy to use absolutely love it I definitely recommend easy maintenance extremely effective and efficient.

• The unit quickly started removing the humidity in the space as soon as it was turned on. The fact that it can accept a hose to continually remove water is convenient since it does such a great job! The wheels make it easy to position where I want the unit. The smart feature of GE appliances is a perk that I like more than expected, also! I recommend this dehumidifier!

• Many things I like about this product, seems to do a good job, pretty quiet when running, the only thing that is a bit awkward for me is the drain hose hook-up location, other than that, very happy with the performance of this product.

• Not too heavy but slightly bulky. Noise level is low and it definitely does the job. Hard to tell how energy efficient it is until I have a few more energy bills but so far I've really enjoyed it!

• It started pulling moisture out of the air within the first hour and my space feels way less stuffy. It’s surprisingly quiet and easy to empty. The tank fills up fast, which just shows how much moisture was actually in the air.

• Several design improvements. Air intake should be in front so that you can place against wall, mount on wall pedestal so tank can be pulled out without turning around. Controls should be top front 45 deg angle at corner. Tank should be easier to remove/install, rollers make it difficult. Better moisture sensor. 5 deg temp sensors is not very precise. it does create a high buzzing sound typical of condensers, but if you could find away to lower the pitch. Tank fills up fast so it is working good when sensor decides to work. Maybe that was to prevent machine to turn on/off often, but it does that anyway.

• Cautiously optimistic. It has been a couple of weeks since this arrived and it is working good so far. In full disclosure, this was a warranty replacement purchased with a voucher from the manufacturer. To explain even further, I purchased my first 50 pint GE dehumidifier about 4 years ago. It lasted about 7 months. I was given a voucher from GE and purchased another one with a pump. It lasted about the same. I was given a voucher from GE and purchased another one with Wi-Fi. It lasted 6 months. This is my fourth GE 50 pint dehumidifier I've owned from my one purchase and it is white instead of gray. Hopefully they have upgraded the quality. I have it hooked to a hose to empty into a drain and it is working well. The controls are set at 55% and it turns on and off as needed. I do like the wi-fi feature that I can check on and it works well with the Smart HQ app. Hopefully the quality has improved on this new one.

• I like that it does drop the humidity fairly quickly but it is extremely loud like a loud buzzing motor and keeps running even when the proper humidity is reached. It also has no timer. Pretty disappointed with the price I paid

• It doesn’t run long enough to remove moisture from the room. I don’t think there is any Freon or gas in the evaporator coils. It doesn’t run in continuous mode. The most it has run is 40 minutes at any one time. Not happy with it. Going to try and sen it back . Hope I get to talk to someone about it first. Gave a single star because it is nice looking.

• Wifi connection drops off frequently and the unit isn't far at all from our router. It also kep icing up and doesn't drain properly out of the hose, which requires frequent buke dumping. Would not recommend this unit!
