This is only the 2nd day that I have had it on (April 19). I purchased it in February and had delivered in March. Today was quite warm and the room was 77 degrees and stuffy, so I turned it on. Oh my, how noisy. I had it installed by my complex (their rules). Once the compressor turns off, it is okay, but the loud drumming/humming noise from the compressor is terrible. I should have kept the old one.
