Little noisy, remote is not too good . Appearance is good

So far it works well, but it was only installed 3 weeks ago. I find it a bit “self-important” on the part of GE that a light shines from the plug 24/7, even when the air conditioner is not in use. It is the only plug in my home that seems to remains lit 24/7. The instruction manual talks of Test and Reset buttons, but they are neither described (larger vs smaller button) nor is there a picture. The manual also talks of a “button” to turn off the filter light (after one had cleaned the filter). There is no button - rather an indentation below the word “filter” on the air conditioner.

I was satisfied with PC Richards service after the sale because I had a problem with Registering the unit with GE: The booklet and the Model number on my bill ended in a "J" and not an "I", also I needed to reach out to the team at PC Richards because I had trouble finding the Serial Number, I found a label after they directed me to remove the filter on the bottom Left side because the booklet said it was on the RIGHT side. The phone number in the booklet proved to be useless. I am hoping I didn't make a mistake buying a GE Air Conditioner

It works OK so far, only had it for a few weeks. But it's too loud.

I’ve had this for a week and so far I’m not impressed. My 20 year old Frigidaire blows out colder air at 77 degrees than this brand new model! On the plus side it is quieter than the Frigidaire. I would suggest better installation instructions. Maybe use real photographs in lieu of diagrams and tell people which set to use if they don’t know the make of the sleeve.
