• I just had this microwave installed so I haven’t used all the features but what I have used I love. My previous microwave was a Kitchen-aid that the builder installed in my house 8 years ago. I didn’t like it. It had a knob control and the door opened down and it was hard to clean. This microwave is sleek and opens to the side and has many more features. So far I love the reheat sensor. It works perfect. I just heated up a dinner plate of food and it worked perfect. Even heating without making the plate so hot I couldn’t touch it. I can hardly wait to use the other features. I feel like a kid in a candy store. I hope that it will stand the test of time.

• The microwave itself works fine, BUT… The text on all the buttons has worn off after mere months of owning it. It is NOT from any cleaning product but simply from pressing on them to use (i.e. the natural oils on a person’s fingers). We can no longer see which button is Start, Cancel, and Open as well as the Light and Fan buttons on the opposite side. Tried contacting KitchenAid multiple times but they always wanted to push me onto Service. The microwave itself works fine so I didn’t need service. And of course they would then charge me for a visit anyway. We just want to be able to see and read the buttons!!! This simply should NOT happen and certainly not within a few months of owning it. Very disappointed.

• Ordered on KitchenAid site and microwave delivered on Jan 6th but was missing the turntable ring. Called KitchenAid and they said they would send missing part. January 26th and nothing has arrived. Can't use microwave unless we turn off turntable before every use. Called again on Jan 26th and been on hold for 20+ minutes and finally gave up.

• This microwave has such a creative design! The hidden keypad just behind the glass door makes the appearance sleek and modern. The interior is not as tall inside,but the space seems to work just fine. Love the power door opener!

• Had my microwave for two months now. It is so quiet. I had a learning curve but keep my guide handy and have been very happy with it. Love the start button feature of 30 seconds a push.

• It's power does not seem to be 1000W and its door started squeaking in less than a month after installation. Some WD40 fixed it though.

• I love this microwave! We moved into a new home (for us) with very old appliances. We had to replace most all and I especially love the Kitchenaid microwave! Great for quick reheats and even cooking some things. Highly recommend. And I love the height just above My new oven. Perfect.
