• We put this in as part of a renovation, it sits above our wall oven. Most built-in microwaves are smaller (less wide) than a normal oven, and require a fit kit (sometimes ridiculously expensive, looking at you, Miele) and just overall waste space. This oven uses the width of the wall oven and is only as high as 90%+ of the stuff you put in a microwave. The most detailed use buttons are cleanly put inside the door, the ones I use 90%+ of the time (add 30 seconds, open, cancel) are outside the door. It also microwaves perfectly well.

• Recently had kitchen remodeled and bought this microwave for it. It works nicely. I was afraid it was going to be too small/narrow to hold my casserole dishes but it holds them fine and works great. I like that it is quiet while cooking and not loud like my last one, and the “END” sound isn’t loud either so it doesn’t wake grandbabies up while they are sleeping. (My other one beeped so loud early in the morning it sometimes woke my grandkids when they stayed over.). I am having to get used to entering the time to cook and then closing the door to start it which is a change I’m not used to. Otherwise it cooks well and runs well and is a great microwave.

• We purchased this from Lowe's in July for a kitchen remodel. Kitchen not completed and parts not taken out of the box until November. Our mistake for not taking everything out of the box within 30 days. As it turned out the slim trim kit has a couple of dings in it straight from the box - one that illuminates under my lighting. I contacted KA and asked if they would either replace the slim trim kit or sell at a 50% discount to me. We have purchased from KA before - the dishwasher, double oven, refrigerator, Pro 7 KA. The rep kindly explained that had we have noticed in the first thirty days, they would have replaced, but given the months in between, they have no idea if we caused damage or not. I reiterated we didn't and if they would offer the trim kit at a 50% discount, I would purchase to replace ours. No go. I asked for a supervisor and the representative said I am not transferring you because they would give you the same rules as I have. She then hung up. I find this less than positive. I like the microwave and for the limited use, it has performed well. Given, KA runs % off sales all the time, I don't think I was being unreasonable. So, buyer beware, check everything immediately upon receipt. Not saying we will not go with KA again, but I found the response off putting.

• I bought it from Best Buy and had them installed it 11 months ago, and the Buttons on the bottom right :30 seconds , cancel and open . The letters between the buttons wore off with just touching the buttons

• This little microwave is great! Years ago I had a KitchenAid and loved it! When I got this one I was quickly reminded how much I love KitchenAid microwaves. I had added to our new home a steamer oven with a small space below. Id resigned myself to the idea that I would never find a built-in to fit my quirky space. But KitchenAid was EXACT in measurements. It looks great under my Steamer Oven.

• This is the only built in microwave available…the other options are a drawer and a microwave/oven. This one just isn’t big enough. The height thanks! Doesn’t allow me to warm up my tall coffee cup, warm my maple syrup, etc. and it’s not wide enough to put a paper towel over my food without the paper towel dragging the sides and coming off. A paper towel is a must, because it has more hot spots than any microwave I have used in the last 20 years, including my grandmother’s 25 year old piece of junk. I cannot melt butter; it pops and sprays after 25 seconds, melting in one spot and leaving the rest solid. I absolutely hate this microwave. I wish I had my old kitchen aid built in from my other house! We usually love kitchen aid, and my stove top, my ovens, my dishwasher, and my refrigerator are all excellent. I’ve loved my microwave in the past. But this is absolutely unusable in every form.

• Love the microwave but the sealer is failing. When I cooked baked potatoes water/condensation leaked out the corner - bad seal? And of course JUST out of warranty by days - paid way too much for this to happen so soon!

• Love this wall microwave! Sleek design and matches well with my wall oven! Fits my dishes but if you want a full size I’d do something different. Also love all the different options!

• bought to fit in my island and so far i am loving it! I love that I can lock the controls to avoid kids opening it. I love that the buttons are hidden so you dont see everything and have little hands pushing buttons. I love how sleek the microwave looks and how well it works.

• I bought this as part of a kitchen renovation so it sat in the box for a month. When it was installed, there was no turntable. They apologized and are sending one out, but so far have no sign that it’s being processed. PLEASE send my turntable!! That said, this is a very sleek, beautiful microwave. Can’t wait to use it!!!

• We bought this 2 years ago because of its sleek design and external exhaust fan. The fan is extremely loud, cant hear tv and hard to carry on conversation. I hate the tray mechanism. It comes off the track very easily and has to be put back correctly almost daily.The fingerprints are horrible! The only things I do like about it are the non‐ stick inside surface which makes cleaning easier and the exhaust fan comes on automatically if the stove temperature gets to high.

• We purchased this microwave for our new construction home and are very pleased with it. We bought the slim trim package so it looks really sleek. I love that the controls are inside the door, making it even more modern looking. This hasn't been an issue for us, but the height of the cooking area is not as tall as most microwaves so if you are used to putting really big things in a microwave, this would not be the right one for you. Overall, we are happy.

• would not recommend. I normally only buy kitchenaid products, but this was the most expensive piece of junk ever. the turntable falls off the track when you put absolutely anything on it. anytime I put butter in it explodes all over the place. The food is either not warmed through and takes forever or it is completely overcooked. There is no rhyme or reason. This is a complete lemon microwave and would stay away from it.

• I bought this item in Nov 21. The acoustic beeper runs at a frequency that few people can hear. If you are over 50, forget this model. I have had 2 separate servicepeople confirm this problem.
