The KitchenAid this replaced lasted almost 20 years, and in the past two decades they stopped caring about quality control. It arrived incomplete (we're still waiting on pegs that hold the grill cover on, and it has exposed metal edges sharp enough to easily create a significant injury. I don't mind paying premium prices for premium products but at least this unit isn't average quality and no manufacture should have let it ship.
