Manufacturer reviews · owners of this model, published on the manufacturer’s site

  • Generally very pleased with the performance of the ovens thus far, and the convection option for the microwave is a nice feature. On the negative side, the generic manual is effectively worthless, and using certain of the functions has been frustratingly an exercise in trial and error. Moreover the Features described on the product website includes a steam cleaning option which we unfortunately discovered is not the case. Net-net, the product is thus far solid, but Kitchenaid needs to i) ensure its product descriptions are fully accurate; and ii)revisit whether cost savings from not providing a functional user manual are sufficient to outweigh a less than stellar customer experience.

  • Have had the combo unit for just over a month. Overall the wife and I are pleased with the unit. Couple things that have been noticed compared to previous products we've owned. First, the microwave must be a lower wattage unit, as it takes more time to heat or thaw food. Though it does a great job reheating meals without overdoing it! Second would be the time it takes for the oven to reach temp, not winning any speed awards for that. Just a couple minor things being picky of what I would expect of a perfect unit.

    KentK12/26/2025 11:26 PM

  • We received the microwave/oven but no printed owners/instruction manual. spend 1.5 hours on the web site and chatting with customer service to find out that one is no longer provided, you must download any pdfs or watch videos. Problem is the "how to" documents are not helpful and when trying to cook I care not to watch a video on how to operate my appliances. KitchenAid really needs to rethink this approach.

    KevinTx12/17/2025 03:02 AM

  • Firstly, the microwave often won’t start without opening and reclosing the door - poor build quality. The Air Fryer as part of the oven is just not very good. Does not crisp up things like French fries. Also supposed to be no preheat required - wrong, it doesn’t heat up instantly so thats bad. Overall Air Fry mode doesn’t cook as we expected. One last comment. Included in the oven packaging was an offer for a free crisper once the oven was registered. No related email to me ever came from KitchenAid as promised in the paperwork. I’ve even emailed customer service about this and have never received a reply. That points to very poor customer service in my opinion. Sad experience so far!

    JMRski01/12/2026 08:55 AM

  • The oven control panel is limited in its ability to change temperature on the fly. A number of baking recipes I use require temperature settings to change during the course of the bake. On this particular oven you can not change the oven temperature once you have started baking unless you cancel the bake and start over. When using the convection bake option you always get asked two questions before initiating the bake and there appears to be no option for disabling this feature. The control panel is pretty limited in functions.

    Landingcraft12/11/2025 06:55 AM

  • I purchased the combo oven in August but it was delivered with a warped door but installed noting oven door would be replaced. No door available so new unit # 2 was delivered. The installers unpacked it and it was more warped than first. Third one ordered and installed recently and now there is a microwave motor issue with #3. Just spent 3 hours on calls with Kitchen Aid corporate and have never been more frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately I also purchased matching refrigerator or would NEVER go for new oven #4 with this brand. My first time ever needing to post a negative review.

    Palmetto User05/06/2026 02:25 AM

  • I noticed that recipes I am baking were not baking as expected at the usual temperatures. Yesterday I got an in-oven thermometer and noticed that the sound went off indicating oven is up to the 350F temp I set, however in-oven therm. showed barely over 300F. It did continue heating slowly till it reached 350F but that can really affect baking, especially yeast bread. My previous oven was a very similar Kitchenaid that did a fantastic job. Also, I noticed that when roasting little potatoes at 400F convection bake they don't roast near as well or quickly as previously. Had to crank heat up to 425 - 450F convection to get them to brown. If you have answers for that I would love to hear them, if not I am going to call dealer for re-calibration of oven, hoping there is such a service. As of right now I would not recommend.

    AKgal12/28/2025 07:04 AM

  • Bought the combo and promised a crisper pan if I registered my product. There is absolutely no way to get the pan since they are more interested in selling monthly warranties rather than living up to their promotions. Have sent numerous emails along with calling… still no crisper pan. Received a number to call but it was a waste of time.,,,90 minute wait to speak to a clueless representative.

    samuel7*01/02/2026 11:20 AM

  • When you spend over $3,000 on an appliance, it should at least have functional features. The convection "feature" takes much longer than conventional and the meat probe is non-functional. There were no operating instructions included and the online instructions are only for the microwave. There is no link or indication other than the lower oven is a separate manual. We are disappointed in Kitchenaid, a brand we used to trust. Get a cheaper conventional oven and avoid this disaster.

    Misha52001/14/2026 11:28 PM

  • Love my Kitchenaid appliance package - wouldn’t trade this product for any other brand .

    Kitchenaid Stuart03/21/2026 06:02 PM

  • Love design and features. Wish there was an owners manual.

    Etja01/03/2026 09:47 AM

  • The microwave has not worked since the moment it was installed. The door needs to be adjusted and I'm having trouble getting the repairman back out here with a new door that he ordered. Very little communication. A. Crisper pan is supposed to have been included but, sent at a later date. I've not been able to get the crisper pan or the broiler rack. Also, there is no way to air fry without the air fryer.pan and that did not come with it either.

  • Very disappointed with this KitchenAid 30" Combination Microwave Wall Oven with Air Fryer. A little over a year after purchase, it started showing error codes F1E5. The microwave portion failed, and I was quoted more than $1,000 for the repair, with the inverter identified as the likely issue. For an appliance at this price point, I expected much better reliability. A premium built-in unit should last much longer than just over a year before needing a major repair. The oven portion still works, which makes the situation even more frustrating because the unit is only partially usable. What makes this even more disappointing is that the failure happened just outside the warranty period. Being left with a four-figure repair bill so soon after purchase does not reflect the level of quality I expected from KitchenAid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

    Yenier04/25/2026 12:43 AM

  • We are very happy with our Combo Wall Oven/Microwave. The oven features are great especially the air fryer ability. The Microwave has astounded us as it is so smart! The automatic settings for warming/melting and steaming are wonderful! The only suggestions we have is it would be wonderful if the Microwave had the same easy close function as the oven and the "done" chime needs to be louder/adjustable.

    Mark 702/19/2026 07:15 PM

  • Very frustrated with this product. Although there are plenty of installation and safety instructions, I’ve yet to see anything regarding how to use this oven. The more simple things are no brainer-bake, microwave etc. but I’ve tried twice to use the air fryer functions and food came out uncooked and cold. I’ve even looked online ! Why is this so difficult to include with the product ??!

    Mrs. Kanta03/19/2026 06:36 AM

  • We bought this to replace the same oven/microwave combo that we had previously… we lived our old unit. This new unit has more features, but no owners manual. Went online and still did not have info on all the features. I do not have Facebook or instagram, so don’t refer me to those. Lots of reviews about no owners manual. Rethink this tactic.

    Cooking Bob01/26/2026 06:43 AM

  • Replaced the JennAir comparable model when it died after 10 years, this oven offers most of the same features and we’ve been happy with it so far. The microwave isn’t quite as powerful and it doesn’t have a lighted control panel, these are the only drawbacks so far. Fit and finish is great and really appreciating the smudge free stainless steel.

    Snorkelsurfswimskidive11/13/2025 12:00 AM

  • For the amount we paid fo rthis oven, it is a major disappointment. The convection feature is utterly useless and THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE LOWER OVEN!!!! I'm really disappointed that Kitchenaid would put out a product like this. As an architect, Kitchenaid will never again be specified in any project I design.

    sbklimas01/12/2026 05:40 AM

  • I have had my oven for 3 weeks and use it for everything from regular dinner meals to sourdough bread. I am enjoying the micro/oven combo but have not used the convection oven feature for the micro yet. I have two friends with this unit and I was sure I wanted it because they have been very happy with theirs as well!

Mom of teens and tots03/04/2026 08:28 AM

  • The oven is great with just the right features. The microwave needs a more lighting. It is very difficult to see what is cooking in the microwave. Also, the oven did not come with an air fryer pan which I had to purchase separate and I never received the crisper promised once the registration was completed.

    CP27101/21/2026 10:17 PM

  • We replaced our 2015 KitchenAid wall oven with the 2025 version. The oven is average at best. The oven times are very inaccurate and it takes forever to heat up and cool down. I do enjoy the microwave/convection oven and that's one of the reasons I went back with this model.

    Dannybokc01/06/2026 01:11 AM

  • The door is crooked and the service contractor who came out said it is the result of a bent frame and there is no repair. He also said he has seen this before. At the price we paid this should not be. We are seeking a replacement. No more Kitchen Aid for this family.

    JimDee5801/04/2026 06:21 AM

  • Just had this installed a month ago to replace the same model we had installed 15 years ago. Just a nice upgrade to the current model. Very happy with the quality and build of this model. A nice update to my previous model is brighter interior lighting.

    EAPG02/13/2026 07:09 AM

  • This unit should come with a complete user guide in English. Control panel should be backlighted. The microwave door position sensors should be positioned correctly and be more robust. Interior microwave lighting is dimmer than needed.
